Hi Wouter, Let me try to explain: Let's say I have 20 objects in a certain assets ObjectType. When issues are created the user selects one of the 20 objects with an assets custom field. An automation rule updates the description of the ticket with a certain template. The template is different for each of the 20 objects.…

I like really that idea! It won't be instant but I don't think there is a better solution that's easy to set up. I was thinking about Confluence but there is no Assets macro for Cloud yet.

I'm afraid the specific iptables commands are beyond my level of expertise.

a connection timeout often means the port is not accessible. Were you able to verify the firewall settings for traffic from the Jira server to the reverse proxy server?
-
7h36m means a 38 hours work week. Can you check the Time Tracking menu in your Jira's global settings? There you can set the amount of working hours per day. I don't think it can be set at the board level.

I'm glad someone from Atlassian replied to this question. In some projects on https://jira.atlassian.com/ it is possible to create a suggestion ourselves. But this is not the case for the Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud projects. The instructional texts for those projects tell us to use the "give feedback" option in the…

Hi Arjun, When you try to clone, do you get a password promt? Or did it remember your password from a previous login? I'm not a Mac user myself but can you try clearing the credentials in you credential manager? It's one of the steps in this procedure: Authentication Error - "remote: Invalid username or password"

Yes I agree. But I don't expect Atlassian from doing this before the date they currenlty announced.

Someone else asked this a couple of years ago: Best Way to migrate data form Jazz to Jira Jira supports CSV imports so you'll need to export your data from Jazz in one of those formats first. You could also create your own solution with scripting using the Jira REST API. Bare in mind Jira will set the creation dates of all…

Hello! There is no version 3 of the API on Jira Data Center. You should use version 2. I don't think there is any API endpoint that will return a specific field. Did you find that in the documentation? Maybe I'm overlooking something myself. Does this work for you: https://support.ecommerce.pb.com/rest/api/2/field It will…

Hi Nguyễn, Can you tell me where you are stuck please. I did not fully understand your last reply, I'm sorry.

Hi Werner, There is no out of the box way to distribute tickets to a specific projects based on the domain of the sender. I think you will need the Jira Enterprise Mail Handler app for that. Email This Issue might be too limited. The difficulty really lies in the 3 separate projects. Here is a related question but it is…

No Azure Devops integration on this page https://marketplace.atlassian.com/categories/devops. Any reason for that because there seems to be an app.

A nice feature now that security finally became a hot topic in companies.

As a previous test engineer I'm sad I never had the chance to work with any of these tools. Instead we had spreadsheets or complex tools. But process wise: I'm curious how teams plan their tests in a sprint. If a sprint takes 2 weeks and the testing teams needs multiple days to test. How do you do this assuming you want to…

First time I'm reading a Community Roundup but it was really interesting. Thanks for that!

I don't immediately see what could be wrong. Your request seems OK to me. Have you tried performing the post request yourself with postman or curl without all the scriptring around it? Let's see if you get the 404 too.
-
I found the fisheye feature request for this: FE-7232 In short: Atlassian put this on the long term roadmap but don't expect it before the end of 2024.

I had a similar requirement some time ago. Users had to mail to a certain email address and these email were created as Jira ticket. But the users were not allowed to know about Jira. We looked for a solution where they don't get a signup email, no links to the issue they created, no Jira logos etc. The outgoing emails…

Hi @Viktoriia Mishchanyn The easiest way would be to put your mvn commands in a shell script and handle the failed logic in there. You can easily catch the exit code of the mvn command and if it is a failure code you proceed with the mvn rollback. If you want to build this with separate Bamboo stages/ tasks: When the stage…

Normally you don't have to unless you use a self-signed certificate. But you told me you don't. Certificates from public CA's like Digicert are trusted by default by Java. If it is an ssl issue it will be visible in the logs.

Email content based routing is possible but you'll need some plugin for that. You could also think about having 3 separate email addresses, 1 per project. In that case you won't need any plugin. But it seems like you don't want that. A question: how would you automatically distribute the emails to the correct…

Hi @Sean Kim Is there a reason you do not specify the reverse proxy parameters in the 2nd connector? (proxyName, proxyPort, scheme) If your API calls will go through the reverse proxy you should specify those too. But of course you'll need to confiugre the reverse proxy to use port 8061 and use another proxyName. With the…

Here is a related article about that error: Jira activity stream gadget throws gadget.common.error.500 But you already set you are using a certificate from a public CA. Check your atlassian-jira.log right after opening the dashboard. It should give you more insights.

Hi Randy, I do not have any experience with CFML. Here is the REST API documentation: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-issue-search/#api-rest-api-3-search-post You will see an example JSON on that page. Try using v3 instead of v2 if you are on Jira Cloud: /rest/api/3/search. Altough…

When you login via your browser the requesrt will go through the reverse proxy and to the Jira server. For the dashboard the Jira server tries to reach itself via the reverse proxy server which seems to fail.
