Hey, @Lindsey Schaper Technically, Jira doesn't have a default checklist option. Judging from your screenshot, you are actually using Issue Checklist. Try using the following formatting *[open] send [welcome](www.yourlink.com) email. Hope this helps, Oleksandr

Hey, @Ignacio Bermúdez You can use an app like Smart Checklist to add more structure and clarity to your Jira issues. This way you will have a checklist like you would in Trello but with a bit more functionality. Hope this was helpful, Oleksandr

Hey, @Lê Đức Thắng how are you adding the items? If you are using the "add a checklist item" field from within the issue then you don't have to use any formatting for adding a status (you can for other things like deadline or tagging someone). Just type in your checklist items.
-
Hey, @Lê Đức Thắng You can use checklist plugins like Smart Checklist to create checklist templates. The app is also integrated with Script Runner, JMWE and Automation for Jira which means you can set up various automation rules where a checklist will appear based on issue type or content of the issue. You can read more…

Hello, @Blair Jira does not have a built-in feature for checklists like Trello. You can use third-party add-ons. Smart Checklist, for example, has a feature for migrating from Trello (fun fact: Railsware developed Smart Checklist when we needed to migrate from Trello to Jira and needed a checklist). You can export your…

Hello, @Claudio Rouillon As @Alex Koxaras -Relational- has mentioned, Checklists are not supported in Jira out of the box. That being said, there's still an option of using a Jira checklist add-on. Before you begin you'll need to doublecheck if custom fields are enabled on the instance. You can find the details for setting…

Hello, @Maaike Rietdijk and welcome to the community. If you are using the Smart Checklist plugin to manage your checklists, you can convert checklists into subtasks by adding an automation rule. You can learn more about automation on our wiki. Hope this helps, Oleksandr

Hi, @CedB and welcome to the community. At the moment there's no way to do precisely what you are looking for. Still, there are some options that may bring you close to the desired result: * Dashboard gadget. This gadget shows items assigned to a specific user (won't show the progress of the checklist for the issue though)…

Hi, @Yulia Sergeeva and welcome to the community. As I understand from the screenshots you are sharing - you are using the Markdown editor to add checklist items to your checklist. Kindly, use this formatting guide to make sure your items have checkboxes. In short, you can add a "-" symbol followed by a space to make the…

Hi, @AisM Regarding your question about the title: the whole header is bold and that maybe why emphasizing a word in a header with **bold** may not be very noticeable. It is still bolder, but not as visibly when compared to the rest of the title. And regarding the UNC link, unfortunately we don't have special formatting…

Hi, @Elif Alverson There are several ways of adding a checklist in Jira. Do you specifically mean an integration with Google forms?
-
@kushal_shah you can get Smart Checklist from the Atlassian Store. You will need admin permissions o install it though. Cheers, Oleksandr
-
Hi, @Jack Pattison and welcome to the community. Have you considered migrating to a different checklist plugin? You can have the functionality for checklists and checklist templates for DoR and DoD with Smart Checklist and you can import your data via CSV import. Let me know a bit more about what is it that you need…
-
Hi, @kushal_shah and welcome to the community! I am not sure about having a table, but you can use a plugin like Smart Checklist to achieve a similar result. You can make Topic values as the Header, Test Case values as checklist items, and Expected results values as details. Hope this helps, Oleksandr
-
Hi, @Michael Zauner and welcome to the community. If I understand your question correctly, you want users to have the option to add and edit checklist templates. Depending on the add-on you are using to add checklists to Jira, this functionality can be limited by user permissions. You may also be limited by the number of…

Hi, @Dani L I am from the Smart Checklist team. Our plugin also allows to mention a user in a template that is automatically applied. In your case of mentioning a user based on custom field value you should use @{{issue.customfield_10052.accountID}} and not of @{{issue.customfield_10052.displayName}}, given that…
-
Hi, @Sergio Barbutti You absolutely can use Smart Checklist to block the closure of tasks with unchecked items. Here's a link to the detailed guide showing how you can do it. You can also do the opposite and automatically move tasks with all of the checklist items closed to the next state if that's something you are…

Ok, glad you found the solution)

Hi, @Shah Baloch I am using a different checklist add-on so not 100% sure this will be useful to you, but here's how I'd approach this. I'd try creating an automation rule. You can pick the "if/else block" for conditions and fill in Field with the "Components" value, select Condition and Value. Select "Edit issue" for…

Hi, @genevieve I hope @Olena Brazhko_TitanApps_ will be able to help you.
-
Hey, @Cara Hostetter Not sure if this is exactly what you need, but we are using checklists for recurring tasks like onboarding. They are also quite useful for having Definition of Done and Acceptance Criteria, etc. in your tickets. You can set up the automation in a way that these checklist templates will be automatically…

You'll need admin permissions to do so.

Cheers, @Tony Yang From my understanding this is a setting in your checklist add-on. You should turn on. It is turned off by default so notifications don't pile up in people's mailboxes. Try going to Jira Administration Settings -> Manage apps -> Your checklist app -> global settings tab -> toggle "notify assignees". Hope…

Mmm... Gamification!

Alternatively, you can try the following query: "member = currentUser()". This will show all issues where a user is a member and from there they can see their role.
