@william You can also use the Issue link table: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Atlassian-Analytics-articles/Jira-Work-log-and-Linked-issues-data-available-in-Atlassian/ba-p/2943659
-
@Saxena, Archna : That is a question for the Jira product. You can try posting this in Jira community channel.
-
@Saxena, Archna : Chart templates for sprint in Atlassian Analytics differ slightly in logic compared to the ones in Jira for 2 primary reasons. First, in Atlassian Analytics, the data being queried is much larger (across all Jira sites under an Org) and so some query optimizations are done to speed up performance. The…
-
@Jeff Sumner One way to do this would be to: * Write a separate SQL query to generate just the timeline (see query below) * Outer join the output of above with your original query * Use "zero fill" step to fill zeros in empty quarters Here is the query you can use for step 1: with date_range as ( SELECT…

@Cassandra Fitzgerald : Here is an article that explains how you can extract text https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-analytics/kb/extract-values-from-a-json-string/ Thanks Inder

@Dirk De Mal Where are you stuck at? As an example if you have a dropdown control named PROJECT_TYPE created on the dashboard, you can include this in the SQL WHERE clause as shown below: SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT `Jira Issue`.`issue_id`) AS `Count of distinct Issue Id` FROM `jira _issue` AS `Jira Issue` INNER JOIN…
-
@Dirk De Mal Do you mean you want to create filters on the dashboard that can filter the data in the SQL-created chart? If yes, then you can read about how to do that here: https://support.atlassian.com/analytics/docs/use-variable-controls-for-interactive-filtering/
-
@Chris Peake The screenshot I shared from the dashboard template has both count (as line) and time-in-status (as bar). But it shows the count of issues that were in a particular status at any point within that week. I guess you are only interested in the count at the end of the week?
-
@Chris Peake : You can check out "Time-in-status history" dashboard template that has a chart with issue count at the end of a period (day/week/month etc.) https://support.atlassian.com/analytics/docs/time-in-status-history-dashboard-template/ Thanks, Inder
-
@leroy_kahn_zip_co The is a Original time estimate (seconds) field in Jira Issue table https://support.atlassian.com/analytics/docs/schema-for-jira-family-of-products/#Issue. Is that what you are looking for? Thanks, Inder

@Cathal Keating Sorry - I misinterpreted your question (I thought you meant if you do not select multiple values). For Single select controls, there is no such setting to show all data. But a workaround could be to do it as part of a step after you get results from the query. See my example below where {ISSUE_TYPE} is a…
-
@Cathal Keating : You can use the setting When no values are selected in the dropdown control. It specifies what happens when no values are selected in the “Dropdown” control. There are two options: * Show unfiltered chart data: Does not filter the connected charts * Show no chart data: Shows no data for the connected…

Hi @Promit Ghosh : You can go to the Settings -> General tab and change "URL slug" and "Category". Hope this helps Thanks, Inder

Hi @Don DMack , By "cut and paste", do you mean you are currently taking screenshots of charts in Atlassian Analytics and pasting these in Confluence? If yes, then you should instead be using the Smartlinks features to embed Atlassian Analytics charts in Confluence, Jira or any other Atlassian product that has the…
-
@Jake Litchfield : Assuming your query output columns are named as shown below: You can use window function to calculate the proportion. You can apply this formula: "Count of issues"*1.0/(sum("Count of issues") over (partition by "Quarter of Created at")) Let us know if this works Cheers, Inder
-
@Jackie Budniak Great to hear this!

@Don DMack : Here is the link to the documentation https://support.atlassian.com/analytics/docs/what-are-variables/

Hi @Don DMack : You can check out the support documentation for data model and schema - https://support.atlassian.com/analytics/docs/understand-the-data-model-of-the-atlassian-data-lake/. You can also go the data source settings -> Schema tab and click "Visualize". That will generate the schema diagram for you. The…
-
@BSpangenberg : You can do this by going to Chart settings -> Series tab, and unchecking "Dual y-axis" option. Let us know if this works. Thanks! Inder
-
@Grigory Romanyuk : Atlas data is not yet available in the Data Lake though the work to get this data is in-progress. You can follow the updates in this ticket: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ANALYTICS-138

@Yvette Nash Are you are trying to do this after you have already performed explode operation on labels? If yes, then each row now only has a single value for the label and not multiple values (that is what explode does). For example, if an issue has 3 labels attached to it, then after explode, you get 3 rows for the same…
-
@BSpangenberg : Correct. In addition, "Completed at" is the date and time (UTC time zone) when the sprint’s status changed to closed, which signifies the sprint was completed (https://support.atlassian.com/analytics/docs/schema-for-jira-software/#Table-for-sprint-data) . Thanks, Inder PS: You can also download and see the…
-
@BSpangenberg : You have to get that information from "Projected to start at" column in Sprint table Thanks, Inder

We recognize that Visual will not suit every use case especially more complex ones, so SQL comes in handy. We also have knowledge base articles that you can refer to https://confluence.atlassian.com/analyticskb/atlassian-analytics-knowledge-base-1142445615.html and they provide helpful tips. Cheers!

@Chris Garstin Is there a particular reason you want to use a Date slider instead of a Calendar control? For your case, you might be able to use date slider by typecasting the field value as DATE(). See the screenshot below:
-
@Yvette Nash : ARRAY_CONTAINS does not support wildcards. So we would need a different query such as one below: ---- with tbl1 as ( SELECT explode(`Issue`.`labels`) AS `Labels`, `Issue`.`issue_id` AS `Issue ID` FROM `jira_issue` AS `Issue` GROUP BY `Issue`.`labels`, `Issue`.`issue_id` ORDER BY `Issue`.`labels` ASC, `Issue…
-
@Yvette Nash : For the WHERE clause, can you try this instead: WHERE ARRAY_CONTAINS(`Issue`.`labels`, concat("Added_", {RM_ID})) Thanks, Inder
-
Great to hear that!
-
@Yvette Nash : Can you try the following SQL query in the Control edior (you would need to replace the custom field key with the one you are using): ----- with tbl1 as ( SELECT EXPLODE(SPLIT(REPLACE(REPLACE(a.value, "[", ""), "]", ""), ', ')) AS Value FROM jira_issue_field AS a WHERE (a.field_key = 'customfield_12345') AND…

@Sara Tucker We rolled out support for Confluence embed mode. Can you please check and confirm if the embed is working for you now?
