Nice roundup! Managing multiple client project is not easy. If invoicing is also needed Worklog360 is worth checking.

We've seen this requirement quite often from organizations managing multiple projects in Jira. It's definitely possible, but Jira's native capabilities are fairly limited when it comes to portfolio-level capacity planning and resource allocation. Most teams end up using a dedicated app. Some features I'd recommend looking…

Nice roundup! One thing I'd add is to also look at how each app handles capacity planning alongside project financials. For teams delivering client work, it's useful to see planned capacity, logged time, budgets, and billable revenue in one place instead of using multiple apps. We built Worklog360 with that approach in…

Hi, I really like your overview aseptically the comparison “Platform gap” vs “process gap”. We are a Atlassian app vendor that has build only one app (instead of multiple once that do small specific work). This was made on purpose because we believe an app should only support/cover a specific business process that certain…

Great overview! I would add only that for syncing time data with a separate accounting tool like QuickBooks or Xero you do not always need to go to external tools like Clockify or Toggl. We have build Worklog360 Jira addon that also covers the billing process and that create QuickBooks ready exportable CSV and PDF…

Great summary Rachel 👏 One thing I often see in these setups is that even when Harvest + Jira are connected, edge cases (workflow logging, edits, approvals, user/project mapping) still create gaps — which is why teams end up double logging. Middleware like Zapier can help, but it can get complex to maintain long term. Full…

Great roundup! 👍 ✅ Once your time tracking setup is in place, invoicing is the natural next step — especially for client work. If you're looking to have advance time/timesheets tracking and invoicing in one app in Jira, Worklog360 might be worth a look.

Hi @tony_pitman Welcome to the Atlassian Community! As you have probably found out already Jira does not offer extensive time tracking worklogs reporting. JQL only shows total time spent on issues Also a lot of companies are doing the invoicing outside jira. Meaning you export worklogs and then enter into their invoicing…
