@Frank Vandebergh @Michael @Anton Lisun @Rafael Tejero Palma @Sami Shaik @Dirk Ronsmans @Nicolas Esteves @Darrel Jackson et al coming to Enterprise AND Premium customers as a paid offering/add-on early next year.
-
@Fabio Luis Arão da Silva, as of today, no. You do have to restore your entire site, but this is a request we're aware of.
-
@María José Vázquez Poza, I believe a broader conversation is happening here. It seems like this would apply to all our Cloud products, not just our backup and restore solution.
-
@Richard Scholtes, would you be willing to share your industry and what regulatory authority requires you to keep it for 10 years? Also, could you give me a little more detail on how your existing solution functions? More precisely, is it an interactive JSM environment? Or is it more of a read-only XML coupled with a…
-
@Herman Zuurhout, we don't support it right now, but I'm curious about the specific requirement that's preventing you from using Azure. I just want to make sure I can articulate the why properly to the team.
-
@David Pezet yup, this all tracks and makes sense. I think the first thing to note is that we haven't gotten to the point of enabling selective restore. Right now, these restores are for your entire site, but if we support something like that in the future, I think what you're looking for makes sense. Not to get too deep…
-
@thbrandstaetter @Alexander Tam as of today you're not able to delete or rename backup policies. You can only edit the following attributes of a backup policy: * Included/excluded entities (e.g., attachments, personal spaces) * Backup schedule (edit or remove) * Storage location (switch between Atlassian-owned or your own…
-
@David Pezet at the moment no. The backups themselves are only restorable for up to 30 days. But I'd like to understand your use-case if you don't mind sharing here or you can email me at bkain@atlassian.com. We're currently exploring some enhancements that might solve for some compliance and internal IT reporting…
-
@Alexander Tam you should be able to see all the backup policies you've created in the new backup and restore experience right on the main screen where your backup policies are.
-
@Paul Stahlke, today, the new backup and restore experience restores your entire site. So, in theory, you could restore the entire site to access a single issue. However, I suspect you're looking for a partial restore functionality, which we don't offer today.
-
@Andy _ Fun Inc, that depends completely on your organization and your use case. Our Marketplace Partners provide some very powerful solutions that may be better suited to meet your needs.
-
@Darrel Jackson, no definitive timeline on when I'll be able to share; however, we're actively working on what this will look like for General Availability and for whom it'll be available.
-
@Italo _Modus Create_ automations are not currently included in the backup; however, it is something we're currently exploring, so stay tuned.
-
@Sami Shaik, this is currently separate from the app plan storage limits. Since this is an Open Beta, we're still exploring how this will be packaged at GA. However, during this Open Beta, if you're within the guardrails and qualify for the Open Beta, i.e., have a CEE plan, you can backup your app data into Atlassian cloud…
-
@Rune Rasmussen RE: "Will this new backup solution really only be available for Enterprise customers? Or am I reading this wrong?" The Open Beta of the new backup and restore experience is only available to customers with at least one Enterprise plan. No decision has been made on who it'll be available to for purchase at…
-
@Jennifer Hecht that's correct. Multiple Sandboxes per site the feature is only available to the Cloud Enterprise plan.
-
@Matt Smith , I wouldn't interpret my comments that way. We're exploring how we may address the change management friction experienced by all of our customers in the cloud. However, many of the endeavors are still in exploration, so we don't have anything to share at this time. I have shared your suggestion with our…
-
@Matt Smith we understand the desire for Sandboxes in other plans; however, we don't plan to introduce something like that today. In their current form, sandboxes can't be included in every plan. We are exploring how we may address customer change management friction in the cloud; however, we're still exploring how to…
-
@Pablo Culebras _Jodocus_io_ That's a correct understanding, though I'd like to add additional color. Yes, the Sandbox-to-Site has gone from a one-to-one to a many-to-one relationship, a shared pool that allows you to allocate Sandbox based on need across the entire organization. We analyzed historical Sandbox usage to…
-
@Marco Augusto Santinho Gonçalves , I'm not sure I fully understand your question. However, given my interpretation, this release will not impact the content of your Sandboxes. We are exploring enhanced capabilities for Sandboxes expanding what can be copied on creation and how we can streamline the process of "promoting"…
-
@Mathew Lederman, you can expect to see the changes take effect in about an hour (if not already) as it's deployed.
-
@John Funk if it's a longer list feel free to send an email over to us at smehta2@atlassian.com and bkain@atlassian.com.

Just wanted to cross-post Portfolio Analyzer 2.0 which is an EAP under construction by our Migration Tooling team very much related to this topic!
-
@Krista Stellar my apologies it looks like I didn't get notified about your comment. Our general principle is to let JCMA migrate an entity as is so in this case you would still want to clean up the underlying data by doing some of those pre-checks. That being said I've passed along this feedback to the developers that…
-
@Dave Long, this feature does not exist for CCMA. However, this is mainly due to CCMA's current performance capabilities, which enable you to migrate all your data using CCMA's current Space-by-Space selector. You can select all the spaces and then migrate it over.
-
@Sam Nadarajan love to hear that. This is exactly what we're hoping to hear!
-
@Kristin Lyons Yup, migrate-data-all-at-once can be used by all customers. The only reason you'd want to leverage Site Import over migrate-data-all-at-once is really timing. If you're already testing your migration with Site Import we understand it'd be unreasonable to forgo testing and restart testing with a new feature.…
