Hi @Hiren Maradiya Have you tried the transition new experience? Only in this context does our custom forge app field (Issue Pickers) work correctly, as on the other screens. Best, Wajdi

Hi @Jericho Sison I hope I understood your question correctly, if not please apologize: If you're open to third-party apps, Atlassian recently added support for behaviors in the JSM Portal (Preview Stage). In this app (or any other behavior app), you can hide the "Due Date" from the create portal request form, and once it…

Hello @Madhuritha Ankathi Due to our experience with UI modifications (which are core capabilities of Atlassian and the foundation of every behaviour app, including ours), there are differences in support. The UI modifications (= Behaviours) do not have consistent support across the board. Here is the list of dimensions…

Hi @Harald Heinz This article describes exactly your use case, based on the Jira system and standard custom fields, which you can apply to your existing portal screen: Bringing Dynamic Field Behaviours to the JSM Customer Portal Best regards, Wajdi

Hi @sravani vennapusa Before suggesting a path — could you share how many actual fields drive the assignment, rather than the number of combinations? The combinatorics can be misleading here. If Field A has 3 values, Field B has 6, and Field C has 7, that's already 126 combinations from just 3 fields. 5000 combinations…

@Eddie Hobart Yes, this can be done, and I’ve just tested a working setup. There are different ways to solve this. In my case, I’m using an automation rule, and it works very well. In my setup, the Bug is linked to the Story it originated from, and the automation uses that relationship to retrieve the sprint. To make that…

Hi @chickpeafilae Disclosure: I'm from VIP.LEAN Solutions, an Atlassian Marketplace Partner. We've been running exactly this kind of setup for a large MNO for the past 8 years — Jira as the operational backbone for Accounting, Financial Management, Project Execution, Delivery, and Capacity Planning. You're right that Jira…

Hi @Pedro Morocho Disclosure: I am from VIP.LEAN Solutions, makers of Behaviours Builder on Atlassian Marketplace. JSM support is exactly what we're now actively prioritizing — it's already on our published roadmap (see "Why Behaviours in Jira Cloud Shouldn't Require a Developer", section "What's next"). Atlassian's UIM…

Hi @Eric Broshears There are several add-on options available. We provide one of them: VIP.LEAN Behaviours Builder since 2026. Without writing a single line of code, you can configure field behaviours across multiple spaces and work types. Here an example of cascading fields: We are currently waiting for Atlassian to…

Hi @Diallo Yes, this scenario can be achieved in Jira Software. Atlassian provides a capability called UI Modifications in Jira. To implement this, you currently need to use a third-party app. One of the best-known options is ScriptRunner, which offers Behaviours specifically for this kind of requirement. That said, using…

Hello @sravani vennapusa We have implemented workflows with "approval" steps in Jira Software where, for example, a manager is expected to give his/her GO. In Jira, this is usually just another workflow status. In such cases, external systems are often an option to think about. An n8n automation is a practical solution…

Hi @Malik Junaid I can follow your point. I am not sure what the exact question is, but speaking from experience: We designed and implemented Jira workflows for a large company with thousands of users. The key principle is that the tool must follow the process, not the other way around. If a tool comes with too many…

Hi @sravani vennapusa : Yes, for sure - my demo was on Jira Cloud. Here is the link to the document that lists all Atlassian Cloud capabilities for UI modification. For more details about the Atlassian cloud capabilities—since various combinations of space types and field types result in different supported field…

Hi @sravani vennapusa This use case should be possible using the powerful UI Modifications capabilities of the Atlassian Forge platform for Jira Software and Jira Work Management (And JSM announced recently). If you are using ScriptRunner Behaviours, you should be able to implement this as well. I tested exactly this setup…

Hello, We would appreciate clarification on the rollout plan for the new issue transition experience. Our app requires this new experience to be enabled, and it is not feasible to ask several hundred users to activate it individually in their personal settings. Is there an official timeline for when this experience will…

Thanks for sharing. We already provided an Advanced Edition for our last app. I would like to ask whether Atlassian plans to offer a “Free Edition” that would allow us, as app vendors, to provide customers with a cost-free entry-level option. I understand this is planned, but I haven’t found any plan documentation about it.
