@Bridget - will the AMA be happening on this thread or on another?

Great topic @Fabienne Gerhard ! I'm on a swag diet. Having been around a while (let's not get into just how long :-) ) and being a socially oriented person, I really enjoy attending user group meetings and both regional and national conferences. As one could imagine, the swag stack got enormous and with the end of having…

A few years ago, a friend bought me this book for my birthday. It was primarily a cute joke because of the name, and that I'm "directionally gifted" (never get lost). Being a native Texan, there wasn't much in that book that I didn't already know but I did learn the Texas State Fair is the largest in North America and has…

I'm in @Kate Clavet-D_Amelio - thanks for the opportunity! ... I'd also like to discuss another item with you, please contact me via email or Community Leader slack. Woohoo!

Game on!

We (Praecipio Consulting) had a nice booth wall-graphic that got turned into a virtual background. Not as cool as these but still pretty nice. It has our company logo so I'll refrain from posting until @Bridget or @Monique vdB approve.

@Bridget - Tell the Design Team that the Community members say "pretty please will you make us some awesome Community-themed wallpapers? ... You'll be our favorite Design Team ever!" ;-)

@Mandy Ross - having the same problem .. took several hours, attempts using two different computers and 3 different browsers each, and finally an iPad, to get the photo to upload. Note: both computers were Macbooks and I wonder if that had any bearing on the problem. Incredibly annoying for sure. Hang in there "You can…

Well, it took several hours and two different computers plus an iPad to get this picture here but it's finally posted. I've been working remotely in various quantities including sometimes (pager/off-hour support), part time, and full time for many years at my "day job". Then there are the countless hours I've spent working…

@Tiffany and team - Many kudos for this clarifying statement and driving a stake in the ground for constructive conversation moving forward! I encourage each of you to remain present and engaged in the Community and to in turn, encourage your fellow product teams to engage as well. I promise - we don't bite! 😁 ~~Larry Brock

If you must change the default, a safety is to make a "archive", "orig", or "backup" copy of the default, from which you can restore, before making changes to said default.
-
I agree with @JimmyVanAU - keep it simple until more complexity is needed.

Hi @jchu - thanks for the welcome news! Quick followup question - are the groups independent or does the same group work in both applications?
-
Congratulations @Jeff Tillett - well deserved and thank you for sharing your reflective thoughts with us!!

Hi @Daniel Kaufman - I'm interested. I use Jira, Confluence, Crowd, Bitbucket, server, datacenter, and cloud with regularity. I frequently use the documentation to help keep my sanity. Cheers!

Guess I have to read the article myself @Jack Brickey . I would have expected the same thing. :-/ Cheers!
-
@DPKJ - is there an open issue we can vote for? If so, please post - Thanks!

This is the kind of award that makes me proud to be a member of this community! Well done and congratulations @Thomas Schlegel , @Jimmy Seddon , and @Jon Chau !!!

Hi @Casie Castle and welcome! This sounds like a permission issue. Have the project (or Jira) admin check your roles in the project. For Jira admin users, there's also a permission checker tool where they can test your access. Hope this helps - if not, post an update and we'll dig further! Best, ~~Larry Brock

No meetings on Monday mornings or Friday afternoons! Too many work-related events/issues from the weekend need complete attention on Monday mornings. Peoples' brains are mushy and 40% has most likely already left for the weekend on Friday afternoon. Plus, employees deserve to cut loose a little early if they've got their…

Thank you for all that research @Ste Wright - much appreciated!

Hello @David Karr and @DPKJ - I have great news! Our friends at resolution Reichert Network Solutions GmbH have solved this issue for us by introducing API Token Authentication for Jira supporting both server and data center deployments. TBH, I have not used this product yet but if it's anywhere near the quality of their…

Given the size of organizations for which Jira Align is intended for use, I can only imagine the struggle of trying to use Excel for planning that complex!!

Thanks for the informative article @Tarun Sapra ! I like how the view can be organized by team to get an idea of the load for that team in the selected planning intervals. In the screenshot of the feature set expansions, the grey bars between the columns are different lengths. Are these indicators of the number of items in…

Hello @Mpho Christina Roomane - that's a great question! Like @Andrew Laden, I'm puzzled by the description. If you can elaborate just a little it maybe we can sort out what's going on. Look forward to hearing from you, ~~Larry Brock

Outstanding @FK ! I agree that JSD does not fit every use-case (yet :-) ) and I congratulate you on your creative solution! Cheers!
