Apologies @Boris MBOUMEHANG , I skimmed the first document about building a custom portal but didn't read it thoroughly enough to understand how the custom portal interacted with JSD itself. My assumption was that it could bypass the request forms in the portal which apparently it can't. I'll read more thoroughly when I…

Hi @Boris MBOUMEHANG - great question! While there isn't a way to remove the portal for a JSD project, if you don't add any request forms to the portal view and put a message in the description to "click here to access our custom portal", one could redirect any customer who lands on the JSD portal page to your custom…

Hi @FK and welcome! For the desired features you listed, Jira Service Desk can provide them. Complete and finely detailed customization isn't easily accomplished but most users find the customizable elements meet their needs. A requester can be grouped into organizations where they can see both their own request as well as…

Hi @Jodi LeBlanc - thanks for another great article! I'll strongly second the pre-packed toiletries bag and add a small first aid kit to the list. Handy for the unexpected scrape, cut, stumped toe (who put that bed-foot there anyway! ;-) I add a pair of tweezers to the kit for the unexpected splinter, or metal sliver from…

Woohoo, this is better than donuts for dinner!!!

Hi @Veronica_Hylak ! I'm sorry to hear you're having problems. Do you know what the update was? How many projects are involved - is there one project per board or are there more than two projects total involved? I have some ideas but don't want to start speculating until I have more data. Cheers, ~~Larry Brock

Follow-up question, @Jake Bartlett . If the support team swaps out a page for you, does it affect the page-level subscribers? Thanks in advance!
-
Thanks for the very useful info @Jake Bartlett !

Outstanding @Sophie Reynolds ! - URL?

Thank you @Nick Coates ! I've been seeing your name a bit as I've dug into the Statuspage area of the community. Appreciate the offer of assistance! And you're right - there is an odd similarity between the Symantic and Atlassian primary status page. Like the "float-up" affect on yours! Cheers!

Hi @Dave Parrish [Atlassian] - this was a duplicate and I've marked it as "spam" to get it out of view. Hopefully one of the Community Team can just delete it. Solved my own problem (as seen in the "correct" version of this post). Just had to do the web equivalent of "turning it off and on again" (flush cache and cookies).…

Wow, how did I miss this thread! My tiny triumph today was having a colleague lobby for me to be on her next engagement as the technical resource. This is someone I hold in high regard so I was humbled and flattered.

Seems I've solved the problem. I had forgotten to clear the browser cache. Doing so appears to have cleared up the odd behavior I was seeing.

Hi @Larissa Kogan ! If I'm not mistaken, Jira Software (and also Jira Service Desk), include the Jira Core product features, templates, etc. To confirm, start the "create a project" process and look for templates for Business Teams. These are super-simple workflows, etc. for non-technical teams found in the Jira Core…

Great topic @Kimberly Deal _Columbus ACE_ - I have to chime in that like many, I'm working my practical dream job now. I get to meet many new great people, travel to new places, and work with great tools. My co-workers are like family and my company has awesome principles. My day-dream job, which has the potential to…

Me too - that's my kind of place!

I was so impressed by the new Community Leader page I applied! ... oh wait.... :-)

Truly well deserved - Congratulations @Jodi LeBlanc !!!

Having grown up where we didn't have zombies but we did have tornadoes with some regularity and having worked in IT for 30+years where disaster planning is essential, I can say that I'm fairly well prepared. * Go bag is ready * Extra fuel cans are ready * Several escape routes are pre-planned * Multiple defensible…

A few thoughts that crossed my mind on this topic: Never be afraid to share what you know, even if it's not exactly right, way you present it may be the difference between someone understanding it or not. Never be afraid to be wrong, that's usually how we learn things. Be humble when you are and thankful to those who…

Hi @GC Automation - do you have a screenshot you could share? Any interesting messages in the log files that you could share? Also, an information about the mail server to which you are connecting could be helpful. ~~Larry

Jigsaw puzzles have been part of my family's Christmas tradition since I was a boy. Nothing like having a 2,500-piece puzzle of nothing dominos, Christmas trees, bottle caps, etc. to keep things really challenging, and me up 'til 2am grumbling to myself about it. :-P . My wife and I have had a holiday puzzle in our home…

Hi @Community Manager ! - I believe I've met all the criteria to be a Trello fellow - please review and advise. Thanks for all you do! <3 And FWIW, I am blown away by all the cool things one can do with Trello - it's like a swiss army knife!

Hello @Tim Cimmer - you might consider also posting this in the Jobs and Careers group here on the Atlassian Community site. ~~Larry Brock

Hi @Kyle McNeil - I've dug around a bit and am coming up empty-handed. A short-cut key seems like an awesome feature, though, so let me contact a few people who know more than I do and I'll get back to you ASAP. Cheers!

Hello @charm boyle , I was going to suggest Team Calendars but turns out it's only listed for Confluence. If you have Confluence, it's a very nice add-on which will query Jira and post items on the calender based on a number of options. Might also take a look at these add-ons that my Marketplace search collected which are…
