Hi @ejanis This is Majid @ Exalate. I think your initial research is spot on i.e. the two solutions identified would probably be considered as market leaders in the Jira Jira integration space. However, I am not sure about the security concerns you raise related to Exalate and would love the opportunity to discuss those…

Hi @pjackson A very warm welcome to the community! There are quite a few options out there in order to sync ServiceNow with any version/flavor of Jira: * Build it yourself approach: here you will need to script out the sync use cases based on the public APIs provided by both platforms. * Use an integration solution:…

You would need an integration app in order to do this, but it is very possible. Essentially, ServiceNow would work as a hub here having different connections to the different Jira instances, and you can configure each connection differently (as per requirements). Thanks Majid
-
An import/export would be the way to go here as long as this is a one off operation. If, however, you would like to keep these issues in sync, then you would need to look into an app such as Exalate to achieve this. Please let me know if you have any questions and I would be happy to help! Thanks Majid
-
Yes, indeed. The app is totally decentralized and each side of the integration can control it autonomously. Thanks Majid
-
hi @Sreenadh I believe there is no automated way of doing that within Jira. You can go the import/export route I believe, as long as it is a one off task. But if this is a regular occurrence or if you want to keep the issues in sync, I would urge you to explore integration apps such as Exalate. The advantage of the going…

hi @Kvalitet center I am part of iDalko - the developers of Exalate. You can easily integrate Jira Cloud and Jira Server using a plugin like Exalate. About how you can secure it, well you would need to provide more details about exactly what your security concerns are. Is it about having the data encrypted in transit? Or…
-
Hi, A very warm welcome to the community. This is Majid @ iDalko. So, it is very possible to have three distinct Jira instances logically divided by business function, but it all depends on how much collaboration is required here. Would you end up having users accessing each others instances in order to get the full…

Can you please verify if the tool you are using to connect does actually support private repos?
-
This should be you starting point for the Jira side. There are sample calls included here that will help you create tickets. Similar documentation for Salesforce is here. But getting a full blown integration off the ground has a lot of added caveats to it like queue management, conflict resolution, error handling and…
-
Is it a public repo, because I do not think private ones are supported by this tool?

Hi @Vidhi Soni A very warm welcome to the community! I work as a presales engineer with iDalko, the team behind Exalate. You have several options when it comes to integrating Jira and ServiceNow. You can use the native solution provided by ServiceNow, or use an integration application such as Exalate. But as Nic said, a…

Hi @Aliyar Taravati A very warm welcome to the community! I am not sure of the documentation you are following. Could you please share some more details, maybe a screenshot and a link to documentation? Also, have you checked this? I work with iDalko, the team behind an issue synchronization solution Exalate. The tool…

Hi @Sebastian Adam I am an Integration Consultant with Exalate. As already suggested by Pramodh, Exalate fits the bill ideally here by providing an out of the box synchronization between Jira Server and Jira Cloud (and yes, bi-directionally). It provides a visual editor for simple use cases, and a scripting engine for an…
-
Hi, Have you considered getting rid of the email stuff altogether and synchronize your Jira instance with that of the Customer? That would certainly reduce the manual work, avoid the multiple logins issue and sync comments/fields across both systems. I work with one such synchronization solution called Exalate, and your…
-
Very much possible! As Trudy correctly pointed you to a number of different addons that can achieve the integration of a Jira Cloud with Server, but the correct choice of connectors depends on what exactly you are trying to achieve. How complicated is the use case? What is the ticket volume? What fields would you like to…
-
Very welcome @sidPLakin ! Happy hunting. If you are looking for solutions, I would urge you to look at our tool Exalate as well. Thanks Majid
-
Even though this contains a thorough example of a ServiceNow <-> ServiceNow integration use case, I believe this has all the information you are looking for. You may also want to look at the example given here. Thanks Majid

Hi Prajwal, With Exalate, you get attachments working OOTB between Jira and ServiceNow bi-directionally. You are also able to map any fields (including custom fields) and maintain the parent child hierarchies between the two systems. Hope it helps. Thanks Majid
-
Hi Prajwal, This is Majid @ Exalate. It would be a little difficult to answer this question without getting a lot more details about how you are achieving this integration. Are you using a third party app? Are you running REST API calls? If yes, what is the endpoint you are using. Thanks Majid
-
Hi @Heydi Menéndez This is Majid @ Exalate. Apologies in advance if I didn't fully understand your message, but I believe the main concern here is that you do not want to bother the client with additional work on their side. May I suggest looking at the Visual mode in Exalate. Using the Visual mode, the only client…

Hi @Shashi Matha This is Majid @ Exalate. As Aron already suggested, Exalate specializes in Jira-JSM syncs (and much more). The configuration guides are located here: https://docs.exalate.com/docs/configuration-guides But if you are interested in seeing a customized demo to see if it fits with your use case, please feel…

Hi, Can you please check the status of the integration itself? Is it updating any issues at all? And it would also be worth checking webhooks and if there have been any recent permissions changes. Without some more information, we would be guessing though. Thanks Majid
-
hi @Metheavy , This is Majid @ Exalate. Can you please elaborate on what exactly are you looking to integrate between JSM and Jira Software? Is it issues or config etc.? I believe you will need a third party integration solution to fully synchronize the two Jiras. I would urge you to look at Exalate where you will be able…
-
Hi @Reshma Renee , This is Majid @ Exalate. You should be able to use the variables available. Please see this post which should give you an idea of how you would pass these in the payload. Thanks Majid

Hi @[deleted] Welcome to the forum! This is Majid @ Exalate. Can you please elaborate as to how you are connecting ServiceNow and Jira? You can do this via an integration solution such as Exalate to fully synchronize your ServiceNow instance to Jira bidirectionally. Please feel free to book a customized demo if you would…
-
Hi @Vijay Venkataramani This is Majid @ Exalate. There are many ways to do this integration, but they essentially fall into 2 categories i.e. the DIY approach using webhooks, or using an app to get this done. While the DIY approach gives you a great level of control over the integration, it is much harder (and in most…

Hi @Pankaj Kalambe This is Majid @ Exalate. Have you considered a third party app in order to perform this migration in a customized manner. If not, I would urge you to look at Exalate that, although is a bi-directional sync solution, can be used very well in a migration use case. Please feel free to book a customized demo…
-
Hi @Bridget Malloy This is Majid @ Exalate. I am not sure what connector you are using, but this is certainly possible using our connector Exalate. You can create new tickets on target Jira, or connect existing ones to have visibility on both end. Please feel free to book a customized demo if you would like to see the…
