Hi @Hannah Levick welcome to the community I generally suggest to give story points only to stories not subtasks. If you still wanna go with subtasks I guess you would have to create 2 rules. The following videos guide through exactly your requirements: https://youtu.be/60sWD66l19k?si=j0dfAy-LiSkZ7VqO…

Hi @Ashiquer Rahman Bhuiya Awesome. Good to know you got that working 💪💪 Best Stefan
-
Hi @Ashiquer Rahman Bhuiya as far as I know the reporter needs to be added with the user‘s id instead of name. See a similar question in the link below: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/How-to-set-reporter-on-an-issue-created-via-Jira-Rest-API/qaq-p/2188822 Best Stefan

Hi @Jordan Hauser In your original post you mentioned you are able to embed a macro while creating a page via xml. Could you please provide an example of code how this would work? I got stuck on how to add the xml/macro content to the page content: import com.atlassian.confluence.pages.Page import…

Hi @jan.ambroz as fsr as i know variables are stored as type of String. Therefore I would suggest to re-convert to date with .toDate in your comparison. Best Stefan

Hi @Chloé GABRIEL holy moly that was a tricky one. Took me some time to then find an easy way to find out: I added a test step with a link and then exported the steps to csv =D and then tested it to import with JSON --> worked. the correct syntax is: [<text_to_show>|<URL>] eg: [Atlassian|www.atlassian.com] results in:…

Hi @Chloé GABRIEL regarding the following link it should work ba encapsulating in <a href…></a> tag: https://hardiquedasore.medium.com/how-to-add-a-link-to-json-162fc4b6c732#:~:text=In%20another%20edition%20to%20the%20JSON%20series%2C%20we%20can%20also,to%20the%20link%20on%20click. did you try exactly this format? eg <a…

Hi @Kelly Estrada welcome to the atlassian community. Could you please give some more details: How are you trying to import the executions? Furthermore: Could you send any screenshots of your process and/or the error? Best Stefan
-
Hi @Pabblitoss welcome to the Atlassian Community. From your tags I can see that you are working in cloud. Xray has its own URL in cloud. This is the base url: The REST API base URL for all endpoints is https://xray.cloud.getxray.app/ see the docu:…

Hey @Helmy Ibrahim _Adaptavist_ that´s awesome. Thank you so much for your help. Best Stefan
-
Hi @Colin Roeke First I would reccommend to get familiar and do first steps with scriptrunner according to the documentation. It shows good examples and explains them step-by-step. https://docs.adaptavist.com/sr4js/latest/get-started/introduction-to-scriptrunner Furthermore please use the adaptavist libraby. It consists of…

Hi @Sandip Bhosale Could you please check/send a screenshot of your permission scheme especially of the permission „manage sprints“? are the roles you mentioned have granted this permission? Furthermore: Which person/user can do this action? Please check which roles this user is assigned to. Best Stefan
-
Could you please show a screenshot of your rule, how far you‘ve come so far and where exactly you got stuck? This might help to analyze the problem and get a better understanding of what you‘re trying to achieve. Furthermore could also further specify your requirement and what exactly you would expect from the result. Best…

aaaah....Thanks @Bill Sheboy for the hint with the advanced compare. Should have noticed this one too. This works like a charm. Give it a shot @victoria.morrison Best Stefan
-
Hi @victoria.morrison tbh: I am more proficient with the Jira Automation but this seemed to be kinda straight forward. Looking into your audit log and also after doing some tests in my environment it really looks strange to me. Everything looks fine and as you mentioned: the jql evaluates true (even showing the correct ID…
-
Hi @Donna Benton Is it really an issue link (are thos issues link with a special link type to the epic like for example „relates to“) or are thos tasks/issues you are trying to fetch tasks within the epic (child issues)? In case of child issues you could fetch them with a JQL „Epic Link“ = <issueKey of yourEpic> Best Stefan
-
Hi @victoria.morrison welcome to the Atlassian Community. Does the audit log give any hint? Is there any error written? Please also share a screenshot of the audit log. That might help analyze the problem. Best Stefan

Hi @Ward Schwillens_ Schwillie I‘m afraid that this can not be done natively with Jira Automation as it doen‘t have a direct connection to a client. Does FreshService have any interface that might be possible to fetch a webhook and than fire back an API call against the Jira api? That way is the only thing that comes to my…
-
At least I could figure out point 3 by myself and create an endpoint that delivers a JSON that can be fetched and displayed as a table by "advanced tables" in confluence. I will try to find out the rest by "try and error" =D Best Stefan
-
Hi @Ward Schwillens_ Schwillie In general it‘s possible if you click the attachment and download it. To further understand your requirement could you please specify what you are trying to achieve? According to your question there is no need to do something automated. Best Stefan
-
Hi @Mateus Oliveira I guess it‘s not possible natively. What I mean by saying this is there is no action in automation that can do this action. Depending on which event you‘d like to trigger a jira action I could imagine that this might work with creating a webhook for that special event in confluence. An automation rule…

Hi @Pinnu Nagaraju welcome to the Atlassian Community. Xray is manily a test management tool, not a test automation tool. It can store your test cases an track results of executions but it doesn‘t automate the test operations. After executing tests with a test automation tool the result files can be imported into xray to…
-
@Marc -Devoteam- No, not really. I could find the one you mentioned but it´s way less than the one for Jira, I would need more details regarding the columns of the tables. Best Stefan
-
@Asmath Basha S Thanks for your feedback. In case this was helpful and/or could even solve your problem please consider to hit the accept button. This makes it easier for other users to find an appropriate solution when faced with similiar problems. Thanks in advance. Best Stefan
-
Hi @Asmath Basha S There is no automation rule that could do this. As far as I know (tbh I‘m not specialist for service management) there is the functionality of forms in servicemanagement. the fields within the form can than act dynamically according to each other.…

groupManager.getUsersInGroup Returns a collection of user objects of the users in the group. If you add a .getEmailAdress() it will return the email of all users. The following script should do the work: import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor def groupManager = ComponentAccessor.getGroupManager() String…
-
@Ahmed Magdy ok. then isn‘t that the solution? Best Stefan
-
Hi @Cash Coyne is there any output in rhe audit log? Could you share the audit log here too? Furthermore: Could you add a log action before the branch just logging the lookupIssues to see if the lookup action returns the expected result. Best Stefan
-
another guess (as we can‘t see all the information mentioned in a previous post): The Subtask are in the backlog (which would be correct as this is in general is the status after the create). Even if the story is already moved to the sprint the subtask don‘t move automatically. So please check your Backlog. Best Stefan
-
Could you show a screenshot of your board/column config? What about the backlog? Best Stefan
