Hi @Charlie Marriott Is there any workaround for this too? Even though it´s a real pain in the ass to not seeing old tasks an update of the whole environment isn´t that easy for companies with big systems. Any suggestion? Best Stefan

Hi @Samuel Grave Silva Those fields/templates are provided by Jira and cannot be configured individually. Best Stefan

Hi @Leon Stall welcome to the community. Could you tey to add the „fields“ query parameter to your call so that the response delivers all fields this should be fields=*all according to the following docu:…

Hi @Hariprasad Kumar this brings even more questions up as everything what you describes sounds like configurations/issue types from xray. Could you maybe show a screenshot of your issues (test cases, test set,…) ? Best Stefan
-
Actually it IS possible to access the content in your automation. See the provided answeres. Best Stefan

Hi @David Theroux could you please share some more details: what are you trying to achieve? which API are you calling? How does your call look like? How does the result look like? Do you get any error? If so: which one? This will help the community to understand and analyze your problem better. Best Stefan

Are you using xray test management plugin? which type of test case would you like to import? which test execution file would you like to import? Could please specify part 1 in more details? what exactly do you mean with "new testcases for existing test execution"? do you mean an already existing test execution issue within…

Hi @Hariprasad Kumar let‘s take one step back as I am not sure I can follow what you are trying to achieve. Could you please explain your whole use case from a kind of more functional/use case perspective? (I‘m was getting confused between test case and test execution so I‘m not quite sure whether you want to import a test…
-
Hi @Hariprasad Kumar welcome to the community. I guess you are using jira native rest API to create the issue. (xray uses it‘s own rest api) As far as I know there is no action to just add steps to an existing issue (at least not in cloud). Nevertheless this should be possible with importing JSON via the xray Rest API. see…

@Przemysław Tomkiewicz depends on the configuration. If a custom field is not added to the context of all projects and/or if it is not added into a screen that´s used in the project it´s not available there. You can imagine like this: Custom fields is a pool of fields that lives within the global administration console.…
-
Ah….yeah that‘s correct :-/ unfortunately that‘s not available in free plan
-
Hi @Przemysław Tomkiewicz Custom fields and screens are global settings in the company managed context. So this can‘t be done directly within the project as the configuration (eg. a screen which is a collection and order of fields) couls possibly be shared with and used in other projects. Best Stefan
-
Hi @Przemysław Tomkiewicz Is your project team or company managed? Best Stefan

Ho @Maya Stoll welcome to the Atlassian Community. There is a feature for exactly this use case called „Issue security“ see the following link: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-issue-security-schemes/ Best Stefan

From the issue list screenshot in your original post: As we can´t see the column header: are the dates we see in the 3rd column the create dates? The list shows many dates in the year 2022. Are there further else-if components in the rule that handles older issues? Looking forward seeing the autdit log information. Best…

what does your variable look like? Did you expect to run through your lookup issues? As the rule seems right now it processes each issue from the jql. I dunno what the lookup issues action is for as it‘s not use later eg. for the edit actions. As I said I have no information what the timeStatus is but from what I can see…

Hi @ESTERBEN as far as I know this integration there is no such festure out of the box. The github integration is set globally and projects can take use of it. I am not aware of any feature that would filter on project level which project does use the integration. Maybe there is a way to script this but as mentioned: guess…
-
Hi @Danno Some things I would try/ask: * Could you add a log action after the lookup to output the issues/keys of the lookup action? * Could please show us your whole rule as well as the details of its components as well as the rule details? * regarding the rule details: Who is the actor of the rule? Is there any other…

ah... thanks for the hint. wasn´t aware of that. I´ll have to experiment with them. Meanwhile: Could you tell/show us how you are calling the API/in which way (automation/curl call/...) and what you get as a result/error? Best Stefan
-
Hi @Andrew McFarland welcome to the Atlassian Community ;) Unfortunately there is no native smart value in Jira to get comments from a PullRequest. I just checked to docu of github rest api and there is a possibility to get those comments from issues, pullRequests and pullRequest-reviews. See the link below:…

Hi @Eazhil Amuthan welcome to the community. Unfortunately I couldn´t find any query in the bitbucket API docu that supports a queryParameter called "created_on". https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/bitbucket/rest/api-group-pullrequests/#api-repositories-workspace-repo-slug-pullrequests-get Could you maybe send…

Hi @IT Admin the following smart value shoulde do the work: {{issue.url}} see smart value doc: https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-smart-values-issues/ Best Stefan

Hi @IT Admin what exactly do you mean? could you specify your requirement more detailed? what are you trying to achieve? best Stefan

Hi @Kathleen Janiszewski Guess the search endpoint should do the work. You could just send a CQL filtering for the specified space: https://docs.atlassian.com/ConfluenceServer/rest/8.6.1/#api/search Best Stefan
