check the settings for the anchor link to ensure that the user has access. Here is link to general anchor settings: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-links-and-anchors/ Anchors have specific settings and I am not able to review the default. But the documentation in the link says it is user choice…

Was always a great read ... thank you.

As a data center Administrator I have had similar requests and usually I would do a full replacement as you initially thought. Since your leadership wants to keep the the original RAID issue type and migrate to the NEW issue type then the best option is to keep the both issue types. Take the Old issue type and put a create…
-
The option to migrate to a Data Center configuration is not available any more because Atlassian has and End of Life date for that configuration. If you can migrate to cloud review options there.
-
My concern is that the cloud migration tool strips soooo much from JSM that it is difficult to see the value. IL5 certification delay is having my government client move away from JSM/Jira in addition to the cost increase.
-
write a scheduled filter to check once a day filter against timeinstatus = timelapsed() and when that time lapse = 4 days close the ticket. The automation rule need a create a comment on issue step when the e-mail is sent out.
-
If you have Script Runner for jira available you can write a behavior or listener if you are working outside Advanced Roadmaps
-
when you convert from business to JSM you have to make sure all the issue types are allowed to be visible on the portal and that your users have browser permissions.. I will look for my admin manual (moved and have to find it) I will post more info later if you have not resolved this.
-
@Brian Ventura Did you check the permissions for the fields to be shown? I know my co-champions referred to you to the documentation but this is a conversion.
-
If you request no issues to be included in the snapshot it will only create one issue as a placeholder.
-
If the snapshot is created with issues it should be imported with issues. What settings are you using. Must do a merge import in destination if the project currently exists
-
The only way I know how to do that is in a post function in the workflow; so you will need 3 post functions. I am still learning the Asset console but that requires the script to be placed in a special file on the server so I would try the post-functions first
-
was the report called test account? Check the notification setting templates at project level and system level. Look under the legacy notification automation. Also check the system notification setting at the admin level.
-
check the system settings there is a duplicate site and see if the you can change the URL
-
check your workflow approval setting. It should be set to 5 approvals to advance and 1 denial to be rejected.
-
I am not sure of a third party app. What I have had to do in the past is use a post function on the workflow where I can update the asset field.
-
Not to my knowledge that is a question for the Asset team. Open a ticket with Atlassian.
-
This is a dumb move. it causes a lot of confusion for the end user and a lot of extra work for Jira System Administrators. Way to go Atlassian just another thing we have to justify to our clients to stay with your products-- like we don't already have enough fighting off your competitors and keeping our clients tied into…
-
Hi custom asset fields are configured as such from inception. You cannot "reconfigure" a jira custom field into a Asset field. Now having your jira field related to your asset field would require scripting toward the api. Also Asset list fields are not easily searchable at this time.
-
I had to rebuild my cloud instance have not forgotten you. I am also trying to remember if it is a current "bug" with atlassian especially with Google products --- I will have to check back in my notes.
-
Hi Bill, let me check my cloud instance.
-
Hi Daniel: It has been a while since I worked with SSO so bear with me and I hope I am interpreting the scenario correctly: do the user choose their own Jira name? If so that is going to be rough. "Use case" currently user Jane Doe goes by JanieD and her email is Jane.Doe@xyz.com. Since the emails are not changing I would…
-
I have been working with Atlassian products since Jira 6.0 and pre JSM; when I reached a point that it got to be too repetitive I did the following to bolster my love for the tool --- apply to your situation as you see fit -- not all required: * when I learned the tool I focused a lot when I first learned so now I am I…
-
Hi Bill: Did you try taking the double quotes off? I work mostly in Data Center and sometimes that works. Also what are you trying to export to? In my instance I have Xporter to export but I also have ability to export to word. I just create a template with the Asset place holder and use that to export the data.
-
this has to be a post function on the workflow. choose option to set value to predefined value for asset field.
-
The format for the jira instance for that field is default managed by the Jira instance administrators. One option would be using script runner behavior to change the display and format of the field.
-
go to the workflow and look at which screen is being used for approval. Then open the screen and make the comment required. The comment is usually added automatically so it may not appear on the approver transition screen. If it is not showing up then add comment field to the screen.
-
do you have any add-ons?
-
you should be able to create a dashboard and have the created vs resolved chart available you as an end user. Are you using a service desk? your query should be along these lines: this version is beginning of the week and will be a rolling 4 weeks project in (your project name) and created >= Startofweek(-4) and priority =…

I hope not... have too many customers who like it seperate.
