Oh wow. My first use of baselines! while not exactly what I thought was achievable, this is what I want to be able to see. As I use this, I'm sure this view will be even better than I anticipated. Thank you so much!

Thank you for the offer Constantin and unfortunately switching tools is a non-starter.

Thank you for your thoughtful response. Unfortunately, these settings don't work. Start dates are not being respected and instead is using the Project start date for everything. Due to this, all the projected end dates are all in the past which means it's not taking today and remaining work into account at all. Also, there…

Thank you Stepan! This helps but in an ideal solution, if a start date is set, I want that date to still be respected. So for example, if a task started on 19/May/26, was estimated to be 10d, a day was logged and no work since then was logged, I want the projected finish date to be today() + 9 valid work days. Every day…

I think you mean this Im trying to access the changelog in the slack message

Ah! Thank you so much!

Thank you Danut. I'm not sure I understand your question though "Why is the native Jira gadget not sufficient for your needs?" It is sufficient. I'm just not seeing how to insert a native Jira gadget into a Dashboard Hub created dashboard.
-
I find it odd that Dashboard Hub's gadgets are available on JIRA's ootb dashboards, but the reverse is not the case.
-
Hello John, Installed a trial version of Dashboard Hub and am simply evaluating it. My first step was to see if I could recreate a dashboard I already have in JIRA using this app. The second image above shows Dashboard Hub's version of a Created vs Resolved gadget. That's as far as I got. I could not figure out how to…

Yeah unfortunately it is not a hard/direct parent/child link. Hence why we call it "soft hierarchy" and is a link type. Thank you for all the info. I learned a lot in this thread.
-
Hmm, this is not getting me the issue I need. Here is what I logically want to do and cannot get to work because I do not know how to reference the issue I need: IF issueLinks.FILTER($.type = "soft hierarchy" and $.source.key = "ABC-1234"): (ABC-1234).ganttduration/18000000 - JIRA_DAYS(remainingEstimate)
-
Yep, the issue/work item in question is in fact in the structure and is linked via soft hierarchy. It's the ancestor of all the work items in the structure in fact. I want to house its ganttduration to perform calculations in formula column for each individual descendant work item in the structure. Any help with how this…
-
So the issue/work item is in the issuelinks array but it sounds like I would not have access to the field I want which is ganttduration. Correct?
-
I do have the Gantt extension and due to your suggestion discovered a whole slew of new code I can use in my formulas! I had no idea there were so many Gantt specific functions. Setting up a slice to use today() as the start date works perfect! Thank you so much!!
-
destination worked! Thank you so much. And thank you for the portal link. Most of my questions are around structure.
-
Unfortunately, none of these worked. There is also some very odd behavior I notice. Regardless of what I use after the AND operation, if it's a != operation, I get the whole list while if I use an = operation, the array is empty. NOTE: my test epic has multiple linked Risks, one is open and one is closed. I'm either…

See above ashu.

Worked like a charm! Thank you!
-
Ah! That makes sense now. Thank you for the clarification.

Still playing with wildcard filtering but this time I'm also looking for a count WITHOUT certain labels. I used this WHERE (`Issue Type` = 'Epic') AND (Labels LIKE 'Added_%{RM_ID.RAW}%'OR ARRAY_CONTAINS(`Issue Labels`, concat("RM_", {RM_ID}))) AND Labels NOT LIKE 'Removed_%{RM_ID.RAW}%' It seems the last clause (NOT LIKE)…

Incredibly helpful Inder! Thank you! The things I'm trying to do are far more complex that the visual editor allows but your examples and fiddling with what the editor initially creates has been successful.
-
Worked great! Thank you so much again! Is there a way to add a wildcard in there? The desired effect would be Added_%{RM_ID}%.
-
It worked beautifully! Thank you so much Inder!
