Congratulations!!

Hi @Najm Polaris Thanks for taking interest. They have sponsored visas in the past, so it's worth a try?

Hi @Evgenii I'm not the recruiter/hiring manager but my gut feeling is that they want someone either in Australia or New Zealand. that said it's still worth applying for, and you could be the exception to the rule. From what I've seen it's very difficult to get the skills and certifications locally.

My earliest transportation memory was when I was flying to New Zealand from England when I was 4 years old. The flight staff gave my younger brother and I a toy each (probably to help keep us quiet!). I remember he got an amazing metal crocodile with a snapping jaw - I got a plastic cow! Spent much of the flight trying to…

TITLE: A WALK THROUGH THE FOREST It was a [long] and [tiresome] day. I was tired of sitting in the [office] and decided to [explore] through the forests outside. As I [tied] up my [bootlaces] and [rushed] to get ready, I could already smell the [soil] and the [pine trees] of the forest. As I opened my door, the sight of…

GK: Atlas The keeper has the best visibility of the whole pitch and what the teams movements are so screams out status updates to the players. Defence: CBx3: OpsGenie, Beacon, BitBucket Solid back three focused on stability and informing the midfield of what dangers are around them Midfield: Central/Defensive Midlfied…

the answer is: Kanban Get it, replace the b with a k and you get kankan which sounds like "CanCan"" And here's it in action on Jira "Core"
-
Added :) Added Transformer by Gnarls Barkley, reflecting how requirements rapidly change and Jira can typically adapt to most challenges - and thought it was more "techie" than Changes by Bowie :D

Wow! Great topic, and amazing to see so many people fluent in different languages. What language(s) can you speak and how well? * English (native) * Japanese (poorly) * Mandarin, and Spanish (barely) What language do you wish you could speak? * I wish I had kept up with Japanese, Mandarin and Spanish - can barely speak…

Hi all, I've been using JSM for a few years but have noticed a massive uptake in interest from customers in JSM over the last year or so. It's been incredibly interesting watching the tool evolve and to learn more about it's massive list of features. I've recently finished an ITIL Direct Plan and Improve course to help…

Hi, I'm interested to understand what problems people are facing in going agile or scaling agile using the Atlassian toolchain, and areas where they're really winning Thanks Mike
-
Not so much a childhood walkie-talkie memory, but I remember my first "colour screen" phone I bought in my first year of university - the mighty Sanyo 7400 This phone had "Push to Talk" functionality and a button on the side of the device so it could be used like a walkie talkie. My friend bought an identical phone and we…

wow that's a lot of roles!

Training I find the courses on the Atlassian University easy to access and a great way to pick up the base skills and knowledge to ask deeper questions, and guide my learning. If I don't know something related to the Atlassian toolchain, I'm confident that there will be a course, expert in the community, or documentation…

Hi @Charlie Misonne Thanks for the post. This looks like it'll be the way we'll need to lean to fulfil the "no add-ons" requirement. I've not had much experience in working with APIs so will need to study up, but at least I've got a good target to learn towards now. Thanks Mike
-
Hi @Thibaut Subra _Elements_ Your add-on sounds like exactly what we'd need which is fantastic, and frustrating all at once. The requirements I've been given are to exclude 3rd Party Apps from the solution, but I'll make the case that using your add-on will require less build costs, and lower maintenance overhead Thanks…

+1 for User Essentials in Jira Software Although this (along with the planned changes to the Partner Program) is raising some huge questions in my head about what certifications look like in the future I think it's great that Atlassian are planning entry level certs, ACP620 is really hard for people relatively new to the…
-
Hi @Kai Becker Wow this is fantastic! I don't usually play with APIs etc so will ask around internally for a bit of help but this looks very promising. I'll make sure to hit Accept once I've tested this Thanks!

Hi @MANOJ SHANTARAM PATIL Are you using Advanced Roadmaps? You may be able to track progress of the User Stories/Tasks that feed into a Feature if they are set up with the Feature as their Parent. Here's a community post from 2018 that might shed some light (although it's pretty old because its still calling Advanced…
-
I tried and failed the ACP600 exam a couple of times when I was still new to Jira and expected that I could pass just by studying the certification prep course and a few YouTube videos - man was I wrong! The exams don't necessarily test your knowledge (e.g. what is a Permission Scheme and how do you modify it) but much…

@Garrett Marttinen is the due date in US English or UK English format, ie is it tomorrow night or the 9th of October?

Here's a little note about Confluence Labels getting an upgrade - great timing as I'm working with a customer having trouble getting accurate results from Search - lablels, an agreed naming convention, a bit of a clean up, and a new governance/maintenance policy should be a big help :)…
-
Hi @Pramodh M Advanced Roadmaps allows you to test out your changes before committing them to the underlying Jira issues. Once you are happy with the changes you have made (e.g. estimating all of the issues under an Epic) you can "Review Changes" by clicking the button in the top right hand corner of the screen, and then…

Wow thanks heaps!

Hi, What's the best way to track progress on this vulnerability? All I can see from Atlassian is a one-off statement that can't be Watched or commented on https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-security-advisory-2022-06-02-1130377146.html

Hi @habib rahman Robert is right that ACP-600 has been retired, but it's been replaced by ACP-610 (Data Centre) and ACP-620 (Cloud). Which platform are you more familiar with? Cloud or Data Centre? When you sign up for the certification bundle you get course materials for both exams. Cloud might be an "easier" option…

Not the cleanest solution, and it's reactive rather than proactive, but you could: * add some automation rules to reject/cancel a request (transition it to the appropriate status and set the resolution) if the reporter didn't = a particular customer (email address) * Set an automation rule to send an email/comment on the…

Hi all, using Craig's template: Born in Reading England, raised in Auckland New Zealand: * Started my professional career in the late 2000's when I started a small telecommunications company providing lines, toll calling, mobile services, and data to the SME market. * My partner and I sold the business to a…
