Hi Andrew, Currently, there is no option to change the data format of the legend in a pie chart. We have a feature request ticket for that here - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ANALYTICS-118. I recommend voting on and watching the ticket for updates. If you want to display the number of tickets, I recommend using the…

Hi @Steven Drury, thanks for flagging. I believe the issue you're referring to was related to a previous support ticket with @Sean Suwal where it was identified to be a bug with the batch data load process. A fix for that bug has since been deployed. It was a separate issue from the performance updates on these tables.

Hi @Shraddha, thanks for the clarification. Do you mind opening a support ticket (selecting "Atlassian Analytics" as the product) and granting data access so I can look at your dashboard further? I believe it's possible to achieve what you're looking for, but without seeing how your chart and controls are set up, it's…

Hi @Matt Lane , Glad you were able to utilize the available video tutorials. We just published a new knowledge article that walks through how to setup parent and child dropdowns based on a cascading field. For querying asset objects linked to Jira issues, you can reference the examples in the Assets data query examples…

Yes, a control needs to be connected to your chart in order for it to filter according to the control selection. This article walks through some examples of connecting a "Dropdown" control to charts. You can either add a filter in the Filters section of your visual mode query, or add a "Filter" step after your query to…

Hi Dave and Andrew, Thanks for your feedback. I've created a feature request ticket for adding the Major Incident field data to the Atlassian Data Lake: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ANALYTICS-152. I suggest voting on and watching the ticket for updates. In the meantime, using an automation rule to query major…

Hi Shraddha, If you would like to group by Stockroom, you can add a "Group & Aggregate" step and do a "Count of unique" aggregation for the Stockroom column. Can you give that a try and see if it generates what you're looking for? Secondly, to add a control for an attribute value, you can add a dropdown control and…
-
Hi Jakob, Is it the asset name that you're looking for? This can be found in the "Label" column in the "Assets object" table. I'm not sure why you needed to do a left join, so let me know if this helps or if I misunderstood your question.

Hi @Andrew Furlong , this article talks about how to get the new "Parent issue ID" column: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlassian-Analytics-articles/New-column-to-make-issue-hierarchy-queries-easier/ba-p/2513488 If the Atlassian Data Lake connection already includes Jira data, the organization admin can edit the…

Hi @Cyndy Bunte, at this stage Atlassian Analytics will remain a Cloud Enterprise feature. That being said, we will be bringing features of Atlassian Analytics into other products in the Atlassian suite to upgrade some of the data and reporting capabilities offered to non-enterprise customers.

Great, glad to hear it!

Hi Wong, In my example, I'm querying the date attribute "Updated", but you can replace it with the name of your custom attribute. 1. First, create a new query and add the Key column from the Assets Object table, the Name column (which is the name of the attribute) from the Assets Type Attribute Metadata table,…

Hi Esteban! Appreciate your interest in Atlassian Analytics. If you can open a ticket with the partner support desk, the partner support team will be best able to respond and check your eligibility. Thanks, Tracy

Hi Jonathan, Confluence page view data is currently not available in the Atlassian Data Lake. I've created a feature suggestion ticket that you can vote on and watch for updates. You can check out the Confluence schema documentation for more information on what data you can query now. As more dashboard templates get built…

Hi Alp, From what you described this seems to be related to this bug - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ANALYTICS-66, where even after a fix version is disassociated from a Jira issue, the record still shows up in the jira_issue_fix_version_mapping table. I recommend voting and watching the ticket to stay informed on when…

No problem, glad to hear it's been resolved!

Hi @Tschilar, Stacey , Can you include the executed SQL query of the query from your screenshot? You can get that by clicking on the seconds elapsed next to the 'Query finished' button. That will be helpful for us in investigating what's happening here. Thanks!
-
Hi @Sarah Burgess [X], The jira_issue_field table only contains rows for Jira issues that contain values for the custom field. So in order to display the field for issues where the custom field is not populated, you will need to use two queries. For example, Query 1 would return a list of all issue keys, and Query 2 would…

Hi @Susann Garin, the roadmap presentation and demos will be held on a quarterly basis, and the office hours will be monthly. You can sign up here for the next office hour!

Hi Mikael, It would depend on how you want to format the data in your chart. In my example, I have the data in 3 columns: Issue key (from "Issue" table), Name (from "Issue field"), and Value (from "Issue field"), and I have it filtered to only display my cascading field. Since the parent and child values of the cascading…
-
Hi Kailash, Can you try using the following relative date variable: {CURRENT_CALENDAR_YEAR.START.SUB(3,'month')} The default fields for the calendar control are case-sensitive on the unit of time. Please let me know if this works for you! I believe the reason you were seeing the calendar at 1/1/2023 is because it's storing…

Hi Santhosh, To find sub-tasks in a project along with their parent issue from Atlassian Analytics, you can query the Jira "Issue field" table in the Atlassian Data Lake to filter on Name=Parent and then join it with data from the Jira "Issue" table. This article walks through the steps in…
-
Hi Mikael! That would imply your Assets data is missing from the Atlassian Data Lake. We can get that sorted out for you if you open a support ticket and let us know which site(s) you're not getting the proper data from.
-
Thanks for the additional context on your question. The way the Data Lake tables are currently built, only Jira issue types and custom fields etc that are being used are populated in the tables. So while you can identify fields with low usage, you won't be able to identify those with no usage. I definitely understand your…

Hi @Dave Mathijs, appreciate the interest. As it currently stands, Atlassian Analytics will only be available for Cloud Enterprise plans. However, our team is scoping how we can introduce these features to other editions and/or integrate some Analytics capabilities into other Atlassian products.
-
Hi Richard, Atlassian Data Lake already includes data on the parts of Jira you described - custom fields, projects, issue types, and more. You can check out the full schema documentation here: https://support.atlassian.com/analytics/docs/schema-for-jira-family-of-products/. Let me know if you have further questions.

Hi Javier, Can you clarify what you need help with, or if you have a particular question about Atlassian Analytics? Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Tracy

Update: This change is now live - any charts and queries querying the “Issue estimate history” or “Issue sprint history” tables will return errors. Please sync the schemas for your Data Lake connections to ensure they’re up to date.
