Hi @Quelyn, Making changes and executing the query in visual mode updates the query in SQL mode, but this isn’t true for the reverse—making changes and executing the query in SQL mode doesn’t affect what’s shown in visual mode. This is because you can do more complex things in SQL mode (e.g., window functions, subqueries)…

@Nicolás Guzmán Yes, that's correct
-
Yes, that's correct. You can follow this ticket https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ANALYTICS-25 to be notified when Group Member data is added to Atlassian Data Lake.
-
Hi Chris, Based on your screenshot, since there are two columns in the results, it's acting as a key-value pair dropdown and filtering on the first column (issue key). To have it filter on Label, you can hide the "Issue key" column after the fact or remove it from the query. I would also change the Labels aggregation to…

@Medishetty, Vikram Swamy You can query the tables starting with jira_issue_field (along with jira_issue_field_metadata and jira_issue_field_option) to retrieve your custom field data. If you have further questions on this, please contact our support team. Thanks

Hi Afrothiti! Once you create a control using this simplified panel, you won't be able to edit it to switch to the control editor. You will need to add a new control in order to see the "Open in control editor" link to use the control editor.

Hi @Diana G, not yet. The addition of group member data in the Atlassian Data Lake is in progress. You can follow this ticket for updates: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ANALYTICS-25

Hi Christopher, This is related to this bug: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ANALYTICS-69. If you can open a support ticket with our team and grant us permission to access your instance to investigate the problem, we can investigate exactly what conditions are causing the data to not show up for those issues. Thanks,…

Hi Chris, In Analytics, you can add a table chart that shows a list of Jira issues (you can use the "Issue details" chart template, for instance) and then set up a drilldown connection between your "Issues Created vs Resolved" chart and the table chart such that when you click on the bar/line chart, the related issues will…
-
@Chris Peake No worries. Thanks for listing your requirements. If you can open a support ticket, someone on our team can help you out further.
-
The chart example in the template doesn't account for story points, so you would need to modify the chart. If you'd like further assistance, feel free to open a support ticket and we can go through it in more detail.
-
Hi @Chris Peake, the chart is one of the charts in the dashboard template. It's not currently available as an individual chart template. You'll have to go to Create > Dashboard and then select the "Jira - Issues Overview" dashboard template.

@Ram Rajamani Here is the documentation for connecting your data share to Tableau with their Delta Sharing connector: https://exchange.tableau.com/en-us/products/1019. Note you have to be on version Tableau 2024.1 and later.

Hi Chris, There is a "Forecast" step in Visual SQL that you can use to predict future data based on the existing data. The Jira Issues Overview dashboard template also has an example of a chart calculating the predicted completion date based on the number of issues resolved in the last year. You can look at that chart as…

Hi Eric, Here is an example SQL code you can use for querying Atlassian Data Lake to capture the link type. with tbl1 as ( SELECT a.issue_id AS issue_id, a.issue_key AS issue_key, c.prev_value AS previous_value, DATE_FORMAT(c.started_at, 'yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss') AS second_of_started_at, c.prev_value_string AS…

Hi Nick, It looks like you're querying a Jira Align Enterprise Insights data source, is that correct? It's a SQL Server database in the backend, so you will need to use SQL Server functions and syntax. The datediff function in your query can be edited to the following: DATEDIFF(day, [Risk].[Date Created], {TODAY}) Let me…

Hi Michael, Apologies for the confusion. That feature request was mistakenly opened under the OPSGENIE project in Jira. Since this request is not related to the Opsgenie product, the ticket was deleted. I've opened a new feature request ticket to add this feature for Atlassian Analytics…

Hi Cesar, Yes, that is possible to query in Atlassian Analytics. The Jira "Issue status history" table contains the status history of a Jira issue and you can also use the "Author account ID" column to identify which user changed the status of the issue. You can query the Jira "Issue history" table where "Field name" =…
-
Hi Cesar, 1) To get today's date, you can use the {TODAY} relative date variable. 2) The "Zero fill" step should accomplish this. Take a look at the example here: https://support.atlassian.com/analytics/docs/visual-sql-steps/#Zero-fill Let me know if these work for you!

Hi @Ganesan Seethapathy, we appreciate the feedback and information about your use case. I have created a feature request on your behalf for this functionality: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ANALYTICS-304. This is not currently on the upcoming roadmap, but I suggest voting on and watching the ticket for updates.

Hi Don, Your query will need to go through the jira_issue_component_mapping table to properly filter on issues associated with a component. To do this, open the Join path panel to change the join to go through the mapping table. If the mapping table isn't an available option, you can add a column from the mapping table to…
-
Hi Paul, Can you share a screenshot of your query? That will help us identify where the problem may be coming from or if there is something that needs to be adjusted. Thanks, Tracy

HI @Ganesan Seethapathy, It looks like you got your first question answered here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlassian-Analytics-questions/Drilldown-Chart-in-a-new-Window-Tab/qaq-p/2746085 For your second question, that is not currently possible. The drilldown functionality can only use visible values (such as the…

Hi @gomesp5, after you've created your data share credentials from Atlassian Analytics, you can follow the steps outlined here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/connectors/delta-sharing to connect it to Power BI using the Delta Sharing connector. If you have any trouble, feel free to contact our support team.

Hi Tim, Were the tabs or columns in your Google Sheet renamed at all? If you can open a ticket with our support team and grant us permission to access your site, we can dig in further to see why your Google Sheet data source is throwing the warnings and see how to get this resolved for you. Thanks, Tracy

Hi @Dwight Thompson, is the Team field you're using the Atlassian Team field? https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-account/docs/using-atlassian-teams-in-jira-projects/ The data for team names is not available for data shares yet. I have created a feature request on your behalf…

Hi David, User name data can be found in the "Account" table. https://support.atlassian.com/analytics/docs/schema-for-organization-data/ You can add the "Name" column from the "Account" table to get the reporter name. Just make sure that the join path is going through the "Reporter account ID" so that it's returning the…

@Walker Heflin Users will need access to at least one product (Jira, JSM, or Confluence) with an Enterprise license in order to query data and create charts. If they don't have access, they can still view dashboards in Atlassian Analytics. This page contains more…

Yes, if you hit the "Sync Schema" button it goes back to the default Visible checkbox settings. This is the standard behavior, not only for connections with Limited data. Regardless, there shouldn't be many circumstances where you need to sync the schema. Glad you can use the new table now! 🙂
