Hey @Felix Rohrbach , The new interface of Advanced Roadmaps does not Support parallel sprints in one board. There are various workarounds such as: * Reverting to the old interface * Creating additional boards, one for each team I know it's not a great answer. You can always create a request ticket…

Oops sorry for that 😬 Try this one - https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Advanced-Roadmaps-articles/3-short-videos-to-help-you-get-started-with-Advanced-Roadmaps/ba-p/1439078

Hey @aiden , Did you make sure the epics linked to your initiative are included in the plan's issue sources? Only issues within the defined issue sources of the plan will be visible in the plan. You can check out video #2 in this post I made for more details. I hope this helps, Roi

Hi @Rafe Nussey , Your assumption is correct adding members to a team is mostly used for reference. If you need to plan team capacity when people join, leave, or on holiday you can adjust the capacity in the sprint/iteration flyout. Details how to can be found here. I hope that helps, Cheers

Hi @JHartma1 , That's a good challenge that can be solved in different ways. My tip is to start with a structure that is relatively simple. It's easier to add than to remove structure. When needs come up, you can consider adding more structure. From a quick glance. Your five levels: development, design, etc.. could be…

Hi @Kelly Nezwek Great question! Unfortunately, that's not possible. We built Jira's projects with the purpose of being containers of work and not real projects with start and end dates. The issues in the Jira project are the "real" projects :-). If you are looking to roll up epic dates to a larger scope of work, I would…
-
Hi @[deleted] , and @Adriana EF , I'll try to help. Advanced Roadmaps plans are used to visualize your work in Jira. When you create a plan, you need to connect it to issue sources (board, project, JQL filter). In general, issues that live within the issue sources should appear in the plan. There could be different reasons…

Apologies @ali.alavi, due to the time difference between your time zone and Australia's you created the meeting at 3am (whilst I was asleep) to start 5 hours later and didn't see the invite until I started work at 9am. I've adjusted the settings to avoid this happening in the future - My team is happy to reschedule though.
-
Hi @ali.alavi , I'm sorry to hear about your experience so far. I'll be happy to chat and try to help. You can use this link to book some time with me - https://calendly.com/rfine/30min Roi

Hi @ali.alavi , Check the 3d video on this page for how to get started with capacity planning. Cheers,

Hi @Alex Radnaev , No worries, I'll try to answer your questions: 1. Nope, there is no way to specify bandwidth allocation per project. In general, the capacity for a team is calculated per sprint/iteration of the team's Jira board (which can have issues from multiple projects). 2. The team's capacity is entered manually,…

Hi @Sandy Eckstrom , The videos were taken on Jira Cloud, Premium edition. The Server/DC interface is a bit different but the same concepts and steps apply to both deployments. Let me know if you got further feedback or questions. Roi
-
Hi @swagner , Thanks for your feedback! You can sort your issues by the priority field to communicate and track priority. Let me know if that helps, Cheers, Roi
-
Hi @Scott_Goldman , That is an interesting suggestion we might consider to implement in the future. You can raise a ticket to gather other users' interests here. Cheers,
-
Hi @Esther Strom , It is possible. See this doc that explains how. Cheers, Roi
-
Hi @[deleted] , New releases created within your plan's issue sources will be getting into your plan automatically. If you are interested to chat/ask questions about your experience so far with Advanced Roadmaps feel free to send me an email - rfine@atlassian.com Please let me know if that helps. Roi Cheers,

Hi @Amy_Evans , To see your program epics in the plan, you'd need to make sure that the program epics are within your plan's issue sources. Just go to your plan configuration and hit "edit issue sources" After that, to link the epics to the program epics, you can either: 1. Drag and drop epics to their parent in the plan's…
-
Hi Andy, Could you share what's the JQL of filter? This might help the audience understand. The plan is making some filtering of issues as well. The following reasons could be why issues are missing in the plan: * The issue was filtered out because it was resolved x days ago * Filter permissions - Is the filter you are…
-
Hi @Natalia Golikova , I understand the challenge. To clarify, removing the issues from the plan does not delete them. The issues would still be present in Jira. I'd love to have a chat with you and try to make things work out. If you'd like you can use this link to schedule a chat - https://calendly.com/rfine/30min Roi

Hi Thomas, and Joe, I'm sorry to hear you struggle without the removed capacity planning features that were present in the older UI. I wanted to update you that we just released a few improvements to the Server 3.28 version (coming soon to Cloud). With the new improvements, you'd be able to change future capacity for each…
-
Hi @Natalia Golikova , Good question! What you describe sounds like a bug to me. As a workaround, you can just remove issues from the plan by following the below: 1. Select issues you want to remove from the plan in the Plan>Roadmap view 2. Click "bulk actions" in the scope panel 3. Remove these issues from the plan Let me…

Hey @Clare Chawke , could you please send me an email to rfine@atlassian.com I'll send you an invite we could both edit the time for. Cheers,
-
By the way @Clare Chawke , We're actually exploring how to make this configuration experience simpler. I'd be glad to chat about your experience so far, and maybe give you some tips. You can use this link to schedule a meeting with me - https://calendly.com/rfine/30min Cheers, Roi
-
Yeah that sounds like a good direction. For grooming your initiatives, you can utilize a kanban board with a column for each status workflow. I.e. Draft -> Ready -> In progress -> Done. You can configure a filter that excludes the "draft" ones and use them as issue source for different plans. Does that make sense? Roi
-
Hi @Clare Chawke You are on the right track! Instead of adding the whole Planning_Project Board, you can create a Jira filter that captures only the initiatives that apply to team A. You can choose any attribute for it, some use components, labels, custom fields. We use the Team field for that. Let me know if that helps,…
-
Hi @Niharika , You will need to create a new issue type. And add it to a newly created project. Lastly, add it to your Advanced Roadmap plans. Here is a document with some instructions: https://confluence.atlassian.com/advancedroadmapscloud/setting-up-the-planning-environment-998651012.html I hope that helps. Roi
-
Hi @Kevin Lester , I'm a product manager on the team. The Advanced Roadmap plan filters out issues that were already resolved. The default is filtering issues that were resolved more than 30 days ago. You can change that to any time you'd like it. Just go to the plan configuration and select issue sources in the side nav.…

Hi Jason, The estimates allocation vs velocity info is only available for active or future sprints. You can create future sprints in your Jira board and estimate/velocity information would become available in the plan. Nonetheless, that is a good feature suggestion. I would encourage you to create a suggestion ticket here…
-
Glad it worked Tobias. My team has the bug on the radar. We will soon fix it with a redesign for the whole create plan experience. Cheers,
-
Hey Tobias, This issue you are experiencing is caused by an inconsistency in the "confirm what's in scope" and the Plan itself. The plan shows you all issues that were resolved up to 30 days ago as default, while the confirm what's in scope page doesn't show you resolved issues. To remove the irrelevant issues you could…
