Nice! Extra points for the interactive video!

Thanks for the love, @John Funk . And thank you for all the time you spend sharing your extensive knowledge of Jira with the community.

Heh! Fun video. Reminds me of a session at Atlassian Summit I attended years age. The presenter talked about "catfooding" which he said was like dogfooding, but with higher standards.

Sure @Prabhu Palanisamy _Onward_ . I'll be happy to share it with our onboarding team.

Hi @Shaziya Tambawala , We find reactions useful internally. We give a thumbs up to acknowledge that we've read a page, etc. However, we have our public-facing product documentation in Confluence and I think it looks a bit sloppy and unprofessional to have reactions on those pages. Thanks for working on this.

Glad it was helpful @Yatish Madhav

Thanks, Fernando. Yeah, I think I will use automation. The old portal is shut down, but customers are contacting us via old tickets.

Thanks for the comment @David Berclaz _Apwide_ . Yes, some items may be more complex. I should point out that along with your suggestions of using Automation or Scriptrunner, it's very easy to convert checklist items into their own issues. You can also enable statuses for checklist items if you want more nuance on their…

I'm having this problems as well. The issue security field shows on the create screen, but not on existing issues. This what I've checked: * The project is associated with a security scheme * I have permission to set the security level * The Security Level is present on the screen configuration and in the field…

Sure @Heather Ronnebeck . That's great.

It really should be. It makes sense that we would want to use reactions internally, but wouldn't want them on customer-facing documents.

Hi Karyna, Thanks for the great article on using checklists to standardize and streamline recurring processes. I’m with the team behind Issue Checklist for Jira, and we’re pleased to be fully integrated with Recurring Tasks. Along with the features you mentioned, Issue Checklists also allows you to set default templates…

I'm not finding where I can set a priority scheme in Jira Cloud. Does it exist? Or do we have to have the same default priority across all of our projects?

What contributes to a slow Jira instance- too many custom fields. For instructions on cleaning up and merging instances, I would refer to Rachel Wright's book.

@Mykenna Cepek Thanks for the heads up on the word "grooming".

These might be helpful. They assume JSM, but you could build it in software: https://docs.thinktilt.com/proforma/ITSM-Use-Case:-Change-Management-Normal-Change.1646821987.html https://docs.thinktilt.com/proforma/ITSM-Use-Case:-Change-Management-Standard-Change.1646952483.html

So if I have a rectangular image (long, but not tall) is there anyway to not have Confluence add a bunch of white space above and below (making the image square)?
-
Sure. Let’s say my company is planning on building a new website, but we’re probably not going to start on it in the next few sprints. I could create a New Website Epic with issues for each task needed (decide structure, source images, make home page, pricing page, etc.). Alternatively, I could create one issue called New…

Depending on the volume, you might want to consider starting with a single issue to represent an epic with a checklist on the issue (note that I’m part of the Issue Checklist for Jira team) to capture the stories. This is useful if you have lots of Epics and are unlikely to get to one/some of them for several months. The…
