Hello Madhuri, We haven't yet started working on it, but it has been prioritized for the next month Cheers, Hermance

Hi Marc, No, you aren't missing a feature, it's not really possible to do what you describe in Jira Product Discovery. I believe in your usecase, you would both need our upcoming feature regarding cross-project views (one view agregating ideas from multiple projects) as well as hierarchies that would enable you to group…

Hello Shelly, @mention in comments do trigger notifications, in insights, they don't. Contributors receive notifications based on the same triggers IF they have another Jira license (e.g. a Jira software license) - however, contributors with no product license (the ones in the contributor group) don't receive…

Hello, We are currently working on implementing it https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Product-Discovery-articles/Early-access-program-for-enhanced-timeline-views/ba-p/2662614 you can sign up to test the feature Best Regards, Hermance Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery
-
Hi Eileen, Could you please elaborate on your use case? Cheers, Hermance

Hi Wendy, If you are a Jira admin please use the external import system tool, and not the "import issue" button . It is accessible in System, only to jira admins. The interface will look 99% but slightly different, and you'll find the field status. That's not a Jira Product Discovery issue but a platform issue…

Hi Abbie, It's not possible to add fields to insights, you have to use labels to tag companies for example. We are aware this limitation makes it difficult to use insights in your case and we will explore better ways to organize and manage insights in the future. Best Regards, Hermance Product Manager @ Jira Product…

Hey there, @Carlos Garcia Navarro is correct, you are missing a global permission which is or "linking issues" or "Browse projects" (I believe it's the first one, considering you have been able to find the project in the delivery section, but not the epic) So you need to contact your jira admin *or* the project admin of…
-
Hello, Can you click the three dots don't he right to the field instead, and choose copy, select the field creator. However, I'm going to be very honest - I thought people fields were not supported in this interface, and I am personally not able to pick a people field to reproduce your issue. Best Regards, Hermance Product…
-
Hi Eileen, If you Move an epic to a Jira Product Discovery project, the original creator will remain, however most of the other information will be lost. If you want to use this option I'd suggest taking advantage of global fields/custom fields: If you have custom_fieldA in your Jira Software project, don't create a…
-
Hi Robert, I believe your question is about Asset Discovery module in Jira Service Management Unfortunately, this group is about Jira Product Discovery a totally different product (no worries, you're not the first one to be confused!) I'd suggest to ask your question there Jira-Service-Management Best Regards, Hermance…

Hello Lauren, When you are on the field configuration, you can tick "autofill dates" and choose the due date from the linked delivery tickets.
-
Hi Brandon, Thank you for feedback - we will explore some improvements for the matrix view, but at the moment, we prioritized the introduction of net new features, and the improvement of the timeline view. We will get to this one at some point 🙏🏽 Best Regards, Hermance Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery
-
Hi @Guy Yasoor Unfortunately, "Organizations" is not a Jira custom field; it is a Jira Service Management system field, so it can only be used in Jira Service Management, neither in Jira Software nor in Jira Product Discovery for the moment. Best Regards, Hermance Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery

Hello Ignacio, Fields context don't work with team-managed projects. Even in Jira Software, if you create a team-managed project, you will not be able to use a field that has a context in it. Jira Product Discovery projects are team-managed, which is why context are not supported. For a Jira custom field to work in a…

Hello Joyce, Atlas Goals are't available yet in Jira Product Discovery projects, but we are currently in the process of releasing this integration. Stay tuned in this community for when we will announce this integration. Best Regards, Hermance Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery
-
Hello Joyce, If you have a field named "goals" in your project, then you need to be project admin to edit this field. Another project admin can grant you this permission, it doesn't need to be a Jira admin.
-
If you have created Goals using Atlas https://www.atlassian.com/software/atlas/goal-tracking, these goals aren't yet available, but we are soon releasing them. Stay updated on this community group;, we will announce it around next month.

Hi Julie, It is not possible to use Excel functions in Jira Product Discovery. since the NPV function correspond to Then no, it is not possible to create these functions in Jira Product Discovery. You can simply use common operators +-*/ in formulas. Cheers, Hermance

Hi @Leo LI After investigating, we found out the issue is due to a bug on the platform. The bug is tracked outside our team here : https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/API-299 However, please note there is an "export to csv" button directly on any view that will give you a file that you can open in google sheets. Cheers, Best…

Hi Jorge, it's not possible to have approvals/specific user permissions on fields. If you need an advanced demand management process, Jira Service Management offers many more possibilities. It has approval, and you can set various groups of users as approvers. Then you can create an idea based of a Jira Service Management…

Hi Anthony, As there is no good workaround for this (as @Andy Lutz mentioned, it is possible, but it does not provide you with nice JPD functionality), we are currently working on such a feature. It will let you display ideas from different projects in one single view while respecting user project permissions. As it's not…

Bill, you're the automation hero of this community 🚀 Thanks a lot !

Hi Jezper, It's not a bug; any short text field will come without the field name to achieve the same effect that you have on the top of the card with "Målet är att....". This field is usually used as a short description of the idea. For any other field, we recommend using select/multi-select, etc., to make sure the…

Hi Jens, We need more details on your set up in order to understand the issue here, so I shared the support ticket with one of our engineers who will come back to you shortly :) Cheers, Hermance
-
Super happy that the suggestion from @Stephen_Lugton worked! that's also what I was hinting at with my second question ;) As you said, the bulk move panel is outside our scope, and also, you were in a bit of an unusual case because you were going from company-managed to team-managed, which the move with the least…
-
Hi Sławomir, On your second screenshot, the start date and end date of your issue are empty, the value is "None". The dates are not correctly filled from tempo to Jira software. So, nothing is reflected in Jira Product Discovery. if you just place two random dates here, you should see them reflected in Jira Product…

Indeed for the moment it's all or nothing - that's part of the small product improvement we could make through the year so it wouldn't appear on this roadmap. We haven't prioritized it yet as this feature is relatively new so it's still version 1, but that's definitely an espact (the form in general) of the product we will…
-
Hi Luke! We haven't this feature prioritized yet in our roadmap, but that is definitely the type of small product improvement that we could tackle throughout the year. I'm adding your suggestion to our discovery project, and we'll discuss it with the rest of the team. Cheers, Hermance
