Hello Bill, You can migrate a space field type JPD date format to a global field type JPD date format. The date picker that is supported in Jira isn't supported in JPD, so you can neither see it in the list of global fields in Jira Product Discovery, nor add it to a JPD space. So the migrate value tool cannot work with…

Hello, in order to achieve this, you can use our Roadmaps feature, which is part of our Premium edition. Best Regards, Hermance Sr. Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery

Hello Jena, Jira Product Discovery projects are based on team-managed projects, which is a concept shared accross Jira, Jira Service Management and Jira Product Discovery. Today, team-managed projects do not support field-level permissions, and it is not currently on the roadmap. Best regards, Hermance

Hey Robert, I'm clearly no JSON nor math in automation expert, to be honest so I really thought that wasn't possible.. I'm so glad it is. Thanks so much for taking the time to explain how to set these up and helping the community ! Best Regards, Hermance Sr. Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery

Hello Daryna, At the moment it's not possible to apply a specific order for fields. However, I'm adding your feedback in our Jira Product Discovery project because it's true it looks a bit cahotic there, I feel we could improve it. Best Regards, Hermance Sr. Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery

Hi @Janice Edwards if I understand correctly you want to copy value from the "child" to "parent" and vice versa, please check our this loom that explains he automation rule you can set up to achieve that https://www.loom.com/share/5e38d79d0b614fb6a7eb7b9c3146e5ba Best Regards, Hermance Sr. Product Manager @ Jira Product…

Oh I see! thanks for elaborating. We prevent you to add twice the same epic to one idea, but we couldn't check all delivery items linked to all ideas everytime you'd use the "link jira work item button", in terms of performance it would be a bad experience. Also, in some cases, some of our customers want to attach the same…

Hi Paul, Dates fields can be populated via automation, but you need to be aware of their specific formatting : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-product-discovery/docs/manage-automation-templates/ However, in your case, I don't think it would be possible to populate a date based on two other fields.

@Maarten Peters yes it's been released last week

Hello all, the feature has been released last week! Best Regards, Hermance Sr. Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery

Hello Elyse, Everything depends if you are talking about the project settings (all the views, the automation rules, the work types etc) or if you are talking about the project data (the ideas and their insights). You can definitely clone project settings when creating a new project by clicking "reuse an existing space…

Hey Tere, I'm not sure I fully understand your question: "However - the question is Jira allows 'me' to attach more than 1 idea to work item. So why is it not allowed. " You can attach several ideas to a work item and several work items to 1 idea. Could you please rephrase what you are trying to do and cannot? Best…

Hello Jack, Calculating the time an idea has spent in a status isn't possible wth Jira Product Discovery alone: You'd need also Jira Enterprise edition, that gives you access to Atlassian Analytics. However, even Atlassian Analytics, you would only be able to get the duraton for the Status field. So for your use case, I…

Hey Janice, Today, it is not possible, however the hierarchies feature is still in beta so we will continue to bring improvements to it! I've connected with the team in charge of it, and they confirmed they were currently exploring the possibility to roll up data as one of the improvements on the roadmap. Best Regards,…

@Peter I confirm what Christos said, it is not possible,, and on our side it is not in our short term roadmap to work on enabling this marketplace app Best Regards, Hermance Sr. Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery

+1 to what Mart said, default values aren't available in Jira Product Discovery at the moment, but we have added this suggestion in our Jira Product Discovery project. Best Regards, Hermance Sr. Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery

Hi Denis, Indeed, I was about to ask to raise a support ticket, but I see it worked after the second time. Based on your screenshot I see you had 13 different options, and if you had >100 ideas in your project, then it can definitely takes several minutes for everything to be copied. Best Regards, Hermance Sr. Product…

Hello Alex, If you have initiatives in Jira, they cannot be visualized in Jira Product Discovery. however, the goal of Jira Product Discovery is to have your initiatives in Jira for your engineers, and so they can work in waterfall, and there you can you can let your engineer add the fields and the description etc they…

Thanks so much @Amanda Barber I just wanted to add for Jira Product Discovery, the number of users for free is 3, so if you are 6 liccensed users that's why you cannot downgrade (for Jira it's 10, so that might be a different problem) So in the screen barbarashared, you shouldn't see more than 3 users in front of Jira…

Hey @gianmarco_spiga This is your lucky day cause we started roll out litterally this morning :) we need to gradually roll out, but it should be available to you maximum within next week - except if releases tracks are enabled on your site, in that case it will be bundled in the releases track of next month. Best Regards,…

Hello Stacey, For the moment it is not possible to wrap the content in a cell. Could you please give an exemple of content that you would generally put in a cell (I'm guessing it would be in a short text field?) Cheers, Hermance

Hello Erik, Thank you for your feedback We aren't planning to add more granularity to the timeline view for the moment. This view is more meant to provide an high level view of the features that are planned for exemple for the fiscal year. We would suggest to track this level of granularity in plans, at the level of Jira…

@RATEL @Christos Markoulatos -Relational- Thank you for reporting this error in our documentation - the owner is actually not something you can change at the moment. By clicking the lock icon at the top of the right panel, you can add editors to your roadmap, they will have exactly the same rights as an owner. I've raised…

We just move them off manually when we feel they are not relevant to be mentionned anymore. We don't want to automate this process and want to keep control on what we display to our custmers. I just have created a new option named "Landed", that I don't display on the board. However, if I had to automate it, I would do it…

Hello Zaar, It is not possible to have custom icons for issue types for now, we haven't prioritized it yet. Regarding Red statuses, while they do not exist in Jira, they come from the field "Atlassian project status". Sorry if the illustration was confusing, I've raised it to the team. Best Regards, Hermance Sr. Product…

Hello Bill, Thank you for this suggestion, we've discussed it together and we think it could be a great improvement in the product. We will evaluate technical feasability within the next months, and follow back in here for any updates :) Best Regards, Hermance Sr. Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery

Hello @Tatiana Torset There is currently no e-mail or push notifications sent when you add some people in the publish screen, you'll need to share thelink to them once it's published. Best Regards, Hermance Sr. Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery

Confirming what Bill said here, you can only use workarounds. I would personally actually split the Released status into "Released" and "Long-time released" (or anyway you want to call it). If in your reality it makes a big enough difference that something has been shipped more than 6 month ago that you don't even want…

Hello Ksenia, Insights cannot be created on their own, and they need to be tight to an idea. So when creating insights your contributors will need to pick an idea to link the insight to, but you can always copy it to another idea if it's not where you'd have linked it by yourself. I'm explaining in detail the reasons…
