@Dana Weinbaum unfortunately the reason it works or not can be multiple just from top of my head I can think of team-managed projects vs company managed projects, custom issue types in you JSW projects, or even conditions on your workflows statuses. Could you please open a support ticket so our support engineers can take a…

@Irina_Bel_Stiltsoft_ this is not yet part of the roadmap for the next 6 month, but we will consider this in the future
-
@Kate we are currently working on bringing Global fields in Jira Product Discovery, so stay tuned ;)
-
Hello Mieke, Yes, so you would need to go in the automation tab of your discovery project and create a rule that when your field Epic is changed, then it also changes your field Strategic pillar, that's where you define the depency of these two fields
-
Hello Shani, Unfortunately at the moment, there is no possibility to restore a field once it's deleted. You'd need to recreate the field, and eventually go in the history tab of each idea to know what value was assigned to this field. If you have a large number of ideas and if you (or the Jira admin in your site) are…

Hello Mieke, Yes, you can use Automation in your Jira Product Discovery projects : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-product-discovery/docs/automate-your-discovery/ Don't hesitate to elaborate on your use case so we can help you set up the rule Best Regards, Hermance Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery

Hello Ray, We already introduced some frictions when deleting a field, prompting a pop-up, giving you the warning the values will be deleted, also informing you that views will be affected, and giving you the list of views, and finally asking you to type the field name to be able to hit the delete button. Also, this action…

You can open a ticket even if you are on a free version, worst case you can do it via the product by clicking on "Give feedback" (bottom left side bar) and then select the support team
-
Hello John, Could you please open a ticket with our support engineers so they can investigate directly in your site? You can create a new ticket here : https://support.atlassian.com/contact/ Best Regards, Hermance Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery
-
Hello Анна, It is not possible at the moment. Could you please let us know where is list at the moment? Do you already use it somewhere else in Jira ? Best Regards, Hermance Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery
-
Hello, Here is a screenshot of permissions in the creator role As you can see, by default, creators cannot edit any insights, if you'd like to have it for everyone, you can create a custom role based on the creator role and add this permission. Best Regards, Hermance Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery

Hi Peter ! After talking with the Miro team, I understand what's the issue here : the Planner app works with boards and sprints, which are two concepts that do not exist in Jira Product Discovery, as they relates to delivery items. So in order to use the Planner app, you'd need to create delivery items for your ideas…

@Mirko Grahnert The Condition "issue field condition" and the field status. this is the first one presented n the documentation : https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-automation-conditions/ To learn more about automation, please check this automation guide…

Hey Jack! Basically you asked the question within the 48 hours where the feature disappeared 😅 It was indeed a bug, preventing this feature to showing up and it has been fixed this morning. Not all sites are rolled out yet, but for anyone wondering - you should see it back in your side maximum tomorrow, if it's not the…

Hello Ana, I'm Hermance a Product Manager for Jira Product Discovery. We don't have a specific importer from Zendesk or Productboard at the moment. If these two systems allow you to export your ideas in .csv, then you import these data in Jira Product Discovery, via .csv You can find this importer when you click on the…
-
Hi Peter! Thanks for flagging it, we will investigate directly with the Miro team and keep you posted as soon as we have something to share 👍🏽 Best, Hermance
-
Hi Adam, It's not possible at the moment but that's definitely an improvement we will explore. Cheers, Hermance Product Manager @ Jira Product Discovery
-
@Chelsea Duke Miller thanks for exaplaining your use case, I was simply curious to understand the reason why you need to get "off" JPD to achieve what you want. but as it's not possible to display cards from various projects in one Jira Product Discovery view, I do understand now :)
-
Hey @Chelsea Duke Miller yes exactly
-
Hey Laura, You're correct, we only display the workflow categories, not the real status names. This decision was made for multiple reasons: the delivery status also reports on these three categories, both in the field and in the progress bar on the delivery panel but it's also possible PMs and other users who primarily…
-
Hi Chelsea, Could you please elaborate on the reason why you are using the filtering in JQL and not create a dedicated view for these contributors? Jira Product Discovery dates fields are a bit different than non-JPD date fields. One field value is always composed of a start and end date (because you could select a quarter…
-
Hi Starvos, You can customize the form out of the "create" button in the top nav. Navigate to Project settings > features > create ideas You can then decide which fields to display in the form. The inline creation is more when your ideas are unstructured, and you don't have data "attached" to them yet, you just want to…

Hey Milan, it was previously working and due to a change on Google Doc side, we are now unable to integrate with it :/ that's why this text is displayed. We are planning to find another way here, but it's going to be an important effort, so for the moment the workaround would indeed be to copy over in Confluence.
-
As Alevia mentions, it's possible to do it, as long as your fields are not unsupported type (formula, vote view full list here) . We also released some templates so i suggest to use : * When delivery ticket is created → Copy description from idea" and tweak it according to what needs to be copied over.
-
Hi Jess, Unfortunately you're not missing something : Formula fields, along with People, Vote and Insights are not yet supported in automation rules, see Known-limitations-of-Jira-Product-Discovery We are planning to solve this gap, but we aren't able to communicate on a closed timeline yet.
-
@Sam Hepworth & @Omer Meshar The new limits on automation are by definition, new, both for Atlassian, but especially for Jira Product Discovery, as we did not count under any previous limitations. We based this limit on the current automation usage for Jira Product Discovery projects, with only 0.1% of sites breaching this…
-
@Adam Gustafsson hey Adam, yes it's possible - it's a slight change in the rule describe here : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-product-discovery/docs/automate-actions-in-the-delivery-panel/ (makes it a bit more complex :) )
-
Hi Pearson, As matan mentionned, the "Priority" field name is reserved for the JSW field, and that's why you're getting this "error". Now, regardless this naming conflict (that you overcame with 4 different names), you cannot share one field across multiple projects in Jira Product Discovery. As Andy mentioned, at the time…
-
Hey Andy, Yeah for what you describe, sharing static csv documents isn't ideal anyways. Stakeholders view is currently EAP, so I cannot provide you with an exact date, but it should be in like 3-6 months :)
-
So weird for the link; thanks Bill! Full disclosure here: We are in the middle of a refactoring of the fields - to improve on performance, and make sure we can scale. so basically, their behaviour might change very soon, and that's also why we aren't too sure yet how to integrate them with automation - because the way they…
