@Duje Jurica Please have a look at How to migrate all dashboards with the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA)
-
Hi @Robert Horan Migrating dashboards and filters fall behind dark features and there's no plans yet to move them to native, non- dark feature
-
Hi @Gonchik Tsymzhitov , You have the option of tombstoning invalid users and merging duplicate users via JCMA. You will need to set up a special feature flag. You can find the details on this demo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkKMQv36Lo8

Hi @John O'Reilly Happy New Year! Apologies for responding so late as I only saw your message. Have you found the answers to your queries? If not, the Jira Server Team would be the best to answer those , you can open a ticket with them on the support portal https://support.atlassian.com/
-
Hi @John O_Reilly , If you're on an unsupported version and don't have active maintenance on your server license (which is needed to upgrade), you can use a free trial license to upgrade in preparation for the migration. Go to my.atlassian.com and sign up for a free evaluation license for the product you're migrating. You…

Hi @Jonathan Gosselin For the Cloud to Cloud Migration EAP , currently all the user/group would be migrated. Adding support for scoped user/group migration is in our roadmap though. Cheers, Amna
-
Hi @Sandhya Kumari , Can you please open a ticket and one of the engineers will pick up your request https://support.atlassian.com/
-
Hi @Sandhya Kumari , That's correct, you can't spin up a new Jira server trial license but you can use the Jira Data Centre instead. Cheers, Amna
-
Hi @Erik Mathijs , you will need to claim your cloud migration trial here and that will match your self-managed user tier and end date.
-
Hi @Erik Mathijs , that wouldn't be an issue
-
Hi @Erik Mathijs , No, If you are migrating from an active directory this will not be a problem, the inactive user will be migrated. Yes it is possible that users of Atlassian stack to be migrated having an external e-mail addresses. Unless you are migrating JSM customers, there's a special custom jar file that you need to…
-
Hi @Erik Mathijs , 1- When the Migration Assistant migrates your users, it also migrates the groups that they are in. If we find a group in your cloud site with the same name as a group that you are migrating, we will not re-migrate that group. Instead, we will add the users from the server group into the cloud group.…
-
Hi @Baybars Kumbasar , Yes you can convert JSD project into a regular project once in cloud. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/convert-a-project-to-a-different-template-or-type/
-
Hi @Baybars Kumbasar , As you have full admin rights in server and access to DB if needed , you can convert the project first from Jira Service Management to Jira Core/JWM in server and then migrate to the cloud.
-
Hi @Erik Mathijs , If you are going to move projects in phases with shared configurations, make sure you don't make changes once the projects are moved in server or cloud. Have a read through Jira Cloud Migration Assistant duplicates and tracking entities. Otherwise, if you can't make that freeze and changes have to be…
-
Hi @Erik Mathijs , If you are going with a phased approach it's best to have 2 cloud sites. One for testing and the other for prod. Once you have data in prod, then you still have a site to do the remainder of the testing for the upcoming phases.

@Bill S_ , Is this the article you are looking for? https://support.atlassian.com/security-and-access-policies/docs/how-does-atlassians-cloud-architecture-work/
-
Hi @Rob Horan , URL redirect is not available feature at the moment, you can vote for this feature here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CLOUD-10881
-
Hi @Cameron Salhany , While CSV import is the simplest approach, this also migrates the least amount of data. Below you can find the list of benefits and limitations. I'm also adding the link to the article
-
Hi @Rob Horan , Atlassian performs this post- migration link fixing as we do it in the Database in bulk, so if you have a MOVE ticket open you can request the Migration Support Engineer to help you with this. Cheers, Amna
-
Hi @Marcel van Gurp , When you use the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant for Jira and the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant to migrate Confluence the order doesn't matter if you don't need to connect SCIM. If you're planning to migrate both Jira and Confluence and you need to connect SCIM, we recommend migrating Jira…

Hi @dtlhlbs , JCMA will only migrate the 4 users from the project given you select the option "migrate only users and groups related to the selected projects ". Please ensure you uncheck the option that says "include any user that is a member of a group in this migration" so all the users in the group don't get migrated
-
Hi @Henry Lepsi , Xray migration using JCMA has been released as part of the EAP Program. You can find the info here on how to get started with the app migration using JCMA and also the official documentation from Xray on the the migration path you can follow to migrate Xray data from Jira Server/Data Center to Jira Cloud…

Hi @Rob Horan Atlassian bought forward the release date of CCMA 3.2.2 and the bug is fixed. MIG-655 Can you please share the MOVE number, then I can relay the feedback to the team.
-
Hi @Rob Horan , When you ignore warning and proceed , if your instance doesn't have any issues with attachment they will proceed to migrate successfully. If there are any actual issue with attachments, then the migration would fail with error related to attachment. It would be the same as you are working with the previous…
-
Hi @Rob Horan , The ETA for the next release is July 13th. If there's an earlier fix it will be communicated on MIG-655 because we hear your feedback and want to ensure that with the next release our end users and partners have an accurate number of missing attachments and that your migration is a seamless one.
-
Hi @Rob Horan , I don't think you can go back to the older version. There is a dark feature that can be enabled to turn the check off.
-
Hi @Rob Horan The reported issue occurs due to the recent release of the Confluence cloud migration assistant trying to find the attachment versions as well. The issue has been reported as a bug with id MIG-655.
