That explains why you don't see Permissions - look under Access. Is the other person set there as an administrator?
-
Is your project a Team-Managed project or a Company-Managed project?
-
Welcome to Atlassian community. Have you checked that the other person has the Assignable permission in the project? Go to Project Settings -> Permissions and use the Permission Helper to see if this person has the Assignable User permission. Just being an administrator in Jira doesn't automatically give a person…

If I understand correctly, you create a new project using the Template project as the base. This gives you a standard pattern (schemes) for each new project. Then you want to create a set of standard issues that "pre-populate" the new project. If that is the case, I would use a CSV file and do a bulk import after you…

The solution to this is to use the "Related Issues" condition to determine whether there are issues that match (or don't match) your specific condition. Create an If/Else condition and then use the "Related Issues" to see whether there are Some or All linked issues are in the status. In the picture below, I have said that…

@Samuli Miettinen Just a thought - Jira Cloud now has a built in export to Excel button on the Advanced Filter that will export your data to an excel spreadsheet.
-
@Samuli Miettinen - Thanks for pointing this out. My company is apparently making updates to the website and didn't tell me. Let me see what I can do. I'll post here when I get it sorted out.

You might want to look at this article that I wrote that shows how to connect a JQL Filter to an Excel Spreadsheet and refresh it automatically. Integrating Jira Filters with Excel - Atlassian Community

You could do this through a CSV import. You would download the task issues with their issue link. Then you would upload the data setting the Issue Type to Sub-Task and the Parent Link to the Story parent. This would create new issues - you could then delete the old task issues. I haven't tried changing the Issue Type…

What tool are you using for your validator? If this is JMWE, then you would want to use issue.get("Issue Type").name in ["Activity", "User Story"] If you are using ScriptRunner, then you need this code issue.getIssueType().getName() in ["Activity", "User Story"]

A filter returns a list of issues (cards, stories, tickets, etc). An empty filter returns every issue in the database that you have permission to see. Adding a criteria (e.g., issuetype = Epic) says, "Reduce (filter) the issues to only those that are Epics." Adding the next criteria (component = ABCD) says "Further reduce…

I don't believe that you can deny access to the board itself. You can limit access to the issues on the board. Even if members of the other projects can see that the board is there, they would only see the issues that they have permission to see.
-
@Alex Koxaras -Relational- - With respect to spaces, it turns out you can also get around this by entering your list as {{This has a space,This does too}} into the Smart Value field and then remove the {{ }}. This seems to work and doesn't require the additional use of replace

Yes, I created a single team with a weekly capacity.

@Oleksandr Chalyi I don't think that there is any way to use SSO because of the way that SAML works. I believe that you need to use Basic Authorization.
-
It doesn't really help if the number is variable and potentially large. The range in this case could be 1-30. I really need a "while" or "for" loop kind of mechanism. One idea that I have is to create a list of issues in a dummy project with an id of 1 to 30 (or 100 or whatever). Then I could do a JQL Branch "project = XXX…

Try systemctl --type=service That should list all of the installed services in your Linux system

@Malinga Goonetilleke Welcome to the Community! Thank you for your lengthy and thoughtful response to my original post. I have returned the favor by answer each of your points. I have removed my original statement and prefaced my response with my initials (CDF) in bold Thank you for your post. We currently have multiple…

Thanks for the response. Just as Jira capture who changed a specific field and when in the Issue History, I want to see the same thing on a Form. If I have a customer who submits a form and then the Agent goes and changes a value on the form, I want to see who changed that form value and when. This is important for…

Welcome to the community. Could you use Confluence for this. You would post your image on a Confluence page that you would share with the client. They could add comments or even update the page. If you need to track the work through a Jira ticket, you can link the Jira ticket to the Confluence page.

There is an Insight Post-Function called "Create an Insight Object from a Jira Issue". You indicate the Schema and the Object Type that you are creating and then the issue fields that map to the attributes in the Insight Object

childIssueOf and linkedIssues both a single Issue Key. ScriptRunner provides a JQL that can take a subQuery, which may be what you want.
-
You can add a new column with this formula ="https://<jira_url>/browse/"&A2 Replace <jira_url> with your actual URL and A2 with the correct cell for where the Issue Key is displayed. Excel should display it as a link. You can either do this manually after you refresh the data or you can update the transformation to add…

@Jeremy Jedlicka - This is simply a matter of iterating through the different boards in the list. Here is the modified code. import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor; import com.atlassian.jira.security.groups.GroupManager; import com.atlassian.greenhopper.model.rapid.RapidView;; import…

@Srikar Namala - I'm not sure why you are having the problem. I added some error handling to the script. My initial thought is that you lack appropriate permissions. Try this version /***** Author: Derek Fields - derek.fields@rightstar.com**** Delete all inactive workflow schemes and workflows. Use with EXTREME…

@Eduardo Reza - No, 1,000 records is the maximum in Cloud in a single download. In order to download the next 1,000, you need to add "&startAt=1001" to the URL and then keep updating it. I am sure that there is a way to automate it in Excel so that you can download everything 1K records at a time, but I haven't had a…

@Eduardo Reza - Welcome to the community. I'm glad you raised the question. My example was taken from a Data Center version of Jira. For Cloud, you have to set your security using an API token. To create the API token, * Go to your Avatar picture and select "Account Settings". * On that page, select "Security" * From the…

Currently, it is not possible to connect to more than one Identity provider. If your identity provider can connect to the 6 different domains, then you can have SSO for them. If each of the domains has its own IdP, then you are out of luck.
-
This suggest that either the project was archived or that permissions where changed so that you can no longer see the project. If you are an Admin, you can investigate further by going to the Projects section of the Administration screens and looking to see if the project exists there or in the Trash section. Projects that…

Generally, you can ignore the static type checking error. Groovy can't know before run time that the event is an IssueEvent, so it can't determine that there is an issue property. BTW - I don't see that error in my version of ScriptRunner. However, if you want to clear up that error, you can do this: import…
