I would love that @C_Faysal _CFcon_ ! I'm connecting with you on LinkedIn to make it happen.
-
No, no, you did not @C_Faysal _CFcon_ . My original request was about Jira fields, I just wanted to know if it also worked on JSM form fields, without much hope, if I may add 😁 Your solution goes already a very long way. Unfortunately, I am aware of the shortcomings of form fields. I think we will not be able to see option…
-
@C_Faysal _CFcon_ This is absolutely mind blowing! Are the descriptions shown on JSD form fields also?
-
Thank you @Kim-Stacey Kidder !
-
Thank you @James Woyciesjes !
-
Thank you @Arkadiusz Wroblewski !
-
The timeline matches what we've been experiencing and it works flawlessly now, thank you!
-
Great that you are on top of this! It created quite a lot frustration these latest days. Noticed that rovodev CLI processes were still hanging around even after exiting rovodev and killing these helped with the session terminated errors. But that was just a coincidence then? Cheers. Julien.

This is a welcome update @Carol Low and I'm sure hardcore Jira admins will probably disagree but field configuration is a struggle for a lot of people because there are too many layers and it is hard to grasp how they relate.
-
Already signed up, thank you @Kim Mooney !
-
What. A. Brilliant. Idea. I assume many of us admin are alone with their instance with no one to rubber duck their ideas or painpoints and with the community and documentation as their only help. So thank you for this @Kristen Roth !
-
Hi @Kim Mooney Any chance you will record the sessions and make the videos available or plan them on Central European Time? Cheers. Julien.
-
Happy to @Marc -Devoteam-! But both answers are correct and helped me a lot.
-
That article https://www.camiloterevinto.com/post/azure-b2c-atlassian-sso listed on the post you linked to was very informative and straight to the point.
-
This is gold, thank you @Marc -Devoteam-

Ok so it looks like I would first need to create a SAML app. in B2C following this guide https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory-b2c/saml-service-provider?tabs=windows&pivots=b2c-custom-policy. Am I on the right track?
-
Hi Christos, Thank you for taking the time to answer! This definitively helps 🙏 It does make sense that an entreprise app. is scoped to the managed domain. But we happen to have a B2C tenant so option 2 it is. However, I'm not sure how to "configure Atlassian to trust your B2C policy endpoints" to match Atlassian…
-
Hi @Nir Nikolaevsky When do you think you'll move existing Atlas customer to platform experiences then? It's been 6 months now since your announcement, could you please publish an update? Cheers. Julien.
-
Hi @David Olive Unfortunately, it does not seem to work for Azure AD federated users. I assume it's because their UPN is actually not their e-mail address but looks like this instead firstname.lastname_federateddomain.com#EXT#@mydomain.onmicrosoft.com. Do you have a way forward with this? Cheers. Julien.

Just wanted to update this question with an up to date solution. There's now a way to achieve this through automation. See https://support.atlassian.com/automation/kb/automation-rule-to-send-single-email-for-all-issues-per-assignee-due-next/ for details.

Hi @Vikki Silvers and thanks for this clarification. The next APD enhancement will provide org admins with one-click access to ‘join’, or add themselves to, shadow IT instances and take over the management of said instance. This will be a great feature addition to Atlassian Access. Do you have an ETA for it though? But I'm…
-
Hi @Vikki Silvers I'm really at a loss here... I do not understand why this is not included in Atlassian Access instead since Access is included in the Enterprise plan. It would also make much more sense then since this is related to product access. We would actually be ready to pay a tad more for Atlassian Access if that…
-
Hi @Gaurav and thanks for your reply! I am not aware of another way than to allow anonymous access on a Confluence space. Could you explain how to proceed then? Cheers. Julien.
-
Hi @AAlbero You can go to /plugins/servlet/ac/com.atlassian.atlas.jira/addon-config-page of your instance to de-activate the Atlas to Jira Cloud integration. Strangely, there's no entry for it in the Apps menu. Cheers. Julien.
-
Ok, thanks for clarifying! We will use add-ons on the delivery tickets instead then, it seems like a good enough solution for the time being. When asking about add-ons, I had one in mind in particular, it's Microsoft 365 that allows us to keep external communication within Outlook and Teams in context. So very useful for…

Very timely and useful @Tanguy Crusson, thanks!
-
Hi @Josh Devenny! Goals are a great concept that we would like to be able to use across the board starting with JPD and JWM. It would make most sense to be able to use Atlas goals in JPD since the concept already exists there. I understand that you are under an exploration phase to integrate goals across. But is this…
-
It turns out that there's an API for that! This can used together with a Send Web Request automation action.

Hi Dan, That's not what it is. I failed to mention that we are provisioning users via Atlassian Access. So the company name is the one of the Atlassian's account. But thanks for the tip, I'll turn to support if I don't get a solution from the community. Cheers. Julien.
-
Hi Sayed, Unfortunately, this is not possible. Those company names are set internally in our AD so the domain name is the same for everyone. I failed to mention that we are provisioning users via Atlassian Access. Cheers. Julien.
