@Bozhidar Stoyanov if what I have understood is correct, then below is the solution for your use case. Corresponding to a user you have three custom properties let's say * department * workingPosition * shellyTeam Set Property First use REST API PUT method to set these properties for the user. Refer this link on how to use…

@chuu Unfortunately, the image that you have shared is in a language that i don't understand. Also, it is not clear what issue you are facing and need help with? To check if a specific use has added a comment, you can use smart value {{comment.author.displayName}} in if clause. To transition the issue if conditions match,…

if you go to Project settings -> Permissions Search for Archive. You will see screen like this This shows who has permission to Archive the issue. if you need to add permissions, then go to of the screen Actions -> Edit Permissions. See if this helps

@Timone For the 2nd part of your question (After ALSO), are u referring to results from /rest/api/3/jql/autocompletedata/suggestions or is there another API that you are using?
-
@Jordy Vervuurt Can you go this article and see if it helps?

To start with, if your organization permits usage of AI bots like chat GPT, you can ask chatGPT to provide the diff. Depending on your coding proficiency in a language the parser can be written in that. I don't have a ready POC available that you can reference.
-
@Vijay Andela You can automate this scenario. In your case you have a field called golivedate and it is available in all issue types. When field is updated on Epic, then you want to populate the value in child issues. If you can take a stab at automation, and then let community know where you are getting stuck then…

@Bozhidar Stoyanov Can you add more context to your ask? e.g., How is End Date/Due Date related to an assignee? Where is the mapping available for user to department mapping?
-
@Nusrat Soogund if your ask is to compare before and after description available in changelog, it would be doable. it is in markdown syntax format. A parser may have to be written to identify the differences. Don't think anything out of the box exists in JIRA

Refer this documentation Your url is: <a href="https://your-domain.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/search/jql" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://your-domain.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/search/jql</a> Note that this is the new endpoint that Atlassian has published The query parameters will be like this (I am…

@Ganesh Ramesh This will most likely be a permission issue on workflow. Can you review the workflow and ensure there is no condition blocking the transition from To DO -> In Progress. If issues can be transitioned to Done from Any status, that could be the reason why team is able to move issue from To Do to Done
-
@Crystal Chan Are you on JIRA Cloud or datacenter? It is most likely related to access issue. Were you able to access this feature before and it disappeared all of a sudden?
-
@Saiful Islam Is your expectation that when someone clicks on add comment you get a pre-populated template. I doubt if that is possible out of the box in JIRA.
-
@Amol Kailas Aher Can you check with you JIRA Admin that your id is active and you have access to the project?
-
@James Rickards _SN_ The format that you are showing is ADF (Atlassian Document Format). Do you need rich text in this column? if not, you can change the render for this field to text. Can you check what is the rendered for this field? Project settings -> Issues -> Fields -> Click on pencil icon to edit Then you will see…
-
@Vijaykumar Cheni This may not be feasible via JQL. What is your use case? Have you looked at automation?
-
@Max_Clark Have you looks at trigger for When: Issue link deleted?

@Viv Hodgkins Refer to this article and see if it helps

project = "Data Management" and summary ~ "dbt Job Run: Test_Center.Test" and issuetype = "Test Execution" and created > {{userInputs.startDate.toDate("MM/dd/yyyy H:m:s").format("yyyy-mm-dd H:m")}} Check with this date 02/19/2025 09:32:28
-
@Katie Sobolik Assuming your variable name is: startDate and your input date is 02/19/2025 09:32:28 and you need to use time part, then below will work. / is a reserved keyword for JQL and your date format is giving errors. JQL does not take seconds so that needs to be removed. if your format was in yyyy-mm-dd format, then…

@Devi Can you check this article and see if this serves your purpose
-
@Kerri-Anne Mak Comment is a list. You need to check the latest comment to go with your logic {{issue.comments.last.body}}
-
@Nadezhda Your query seems to be too broad. How many rows is your query returning? if it is in 1000s then you need refine your query to limit the number of issues it returns
-
@Amulya Sankara You can try below automation: Trigger Sprint Completed (Specify the board) Branch For each issue in the sprint Add If check issue field condition (status in ("Code Review", "Acceptance", "Test Env")) Edit Issue Select Field as Sprint and in the box select Next Sprint
-
as per the documentation, there is no query parameter to restrict number of fields. This API is returning the json object. So, looks like you will need to parse for name from the results body.
-
@bazhena.kurzova When the statuses are defined, you can add description. Will that work? You can access the statues from Gear icon -> Issues-> Statuses
-
@Sanam Malleswari You can use REST APIs. https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-issue-type-schemes/#api-rest-api-3-issuetypescheme-project-get
-
@Madina Abdulsamadova In URL just give, it should fix the error. Rest of the details you are giving in body. https://your-instance.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/search/jql Also, make sure, the API KEY that is being used, that account has access to project
-
@Viren Desai There are fields that show summed up tasks from subtasks to Standard issue type. You can refer to the field either by using aggregatetimeoriginalestimate or Σ Original Estimate.

This is you edit condition. Just before where you are sending the message to slack, Looks like you are using JSM automation, not JIRA Automation. I don't have experience with JSM. can you add an if condition and check if {{ fieldChange }} not equals <your field> then only send messages to slack channel
