@lakshyajeet_swami While doing CSV import, can you share the screenshot of how the fields from CSV is being mapped to JIRA fields? Note that parent is the recommended JIRA field to be used. Also, can you confirm if parent issue exists when child issues are being imported? You can also refer to this link for more details

In the workflow transition to Open (or your starting status), you can add a regular expression validator Steps to follow (Need JIRA Admin permission) * Click on Edit Workflow * On Create step, click on it and you would see Validators on the right side * Click on Validators and then Add Validator * Use Regular Expression…

@Raycher is Issue 1 and Issue 2 Epic or standardIssueTypes? Other than Custom Field 1, how are these related to each other for automation to determine linkage? if there is no other way, have you tried the automation with Field Change on Custom Field 1?
-
@Nguyen Thanh Tien Can you try adding Re-fetch issue data action and see if this helps resolve your problem?
-
@Ravinder Singh Can you check if your JIRA Admin if there were some changes done to permissions that could have impacted user access? Could you share sample screen shot with error that team members are encontering?
-
@Jonathan rosenbaum Can you try clearing the browser cache and try again? Alternatively, talk to your jira admin and confirm that your id is active?

Note: This is based on the cloud version that I have. Your Data center version may still be using Epic Link instead of parent. For cloud version, instead of epic, {{issue.parent.fixVersions.name}} or {{issue.parent.versions.name}} works Instead of epic link parent works. Try to use smart value condition, instead of related…

@Nicholas Fuchs While again reading your problem statement, I think there is a problem in Urgency Score Logic * The conditions are overlapping and incorrectly structured. * The second condition says "between 2 and 4" → 0.8, but the last one says "if <4" → 0.7, which would always apply for values under 4, overriding the…

@Kimberly Anderson Your issue type hierarchy is correct. Even though JIRA has given the flexibility to define custom hierarchy, the add button does not reflect that. So, if you are creating an Epic and want to link it to Initiative, then when creating the Epic in the parent field specify the initiative key. Then under…
-
@Korn Wang Your ask is not clear. Can you elaborate on what you are looking for? Using custom fields can help in tracking security incidents. If you use Common Vulnerability Scoring System then add a custom field for that to gauge the priority/severity of the issue.

@Loic As you have mentioned in your problem statement, "be a link that open on a web page browser and be downloaded by the customer." So, my assumption is customer has access to google drive location, where the invoice is uploaded. In the email i propose to send the link to customer. The path would have to be hardcode and…

Variables need to be without spaces i.e. one word. So it should be ClosingCategory in key enter enter Cutover and in value add Production Deployment / Cutover Issue then click on + Add Entry to add remianing 5 values KeyValueCutoverProduction Deployment / Cutover IssueDuplicateInvalidExisting ProductionExisting Production…

if you have if else if else kind of condition, then as per documentation, nesting is required Something like below {{#if(or(or(conditionA, conditionB), or(conditionC, conditionD)))}}success!{{/}} Another thought is, if you have a key value pair then you can try for lookup table also.
-
@emmanuel mancuso You can refer to this link which shows how to sum values. see if this helps you move forward
-
Yes, it is very confusing. Refer this link as well. This explains how if works
-
@Nicholas Fuchs Can you rephrase like this {{ #if(issue.customfield_13800.equals("+12%"), 1, 0 ) }} refer this article to understand how the if logic works for filtering smart value lists

@Pasi Pönkkö For isssuetype = Task, there is a field under timetracking i.e. timeSpentSeconds. As an alternative approach, after your JQL, you get each task. Can you use combination of branch for children and lookupissues + edit field to see if this serves your purpose?
-
Assume you have added Trigger. This is how it would look Click on + Add Component and on right side you will see a screen like this Click on IF: Add a condition Then you will see a screen like this select Issue fields condition highligted
-
@Pasi Pönkkö can you share screen shot of the automation developed so far? Also, share the end point url that you are using Once we know the details then community will be able to help address your use case better.
-
@Juliette Bramall Please implement these steps and share your automation rule screen shot if you face hurdle. 1. Trigger Add Issue Transitioned trigger * In from status add Retest (Should exactly match your status name) * In To status add Closed 2. Click on Add Action and search for Add If condition if issue type equals…
-
@Juliette Bramall Please share more context for community to help you. * How are the values populated in Custom field "Root Cause" and "Test Phase"? is it on a status Transition of the issue or is updated manually? * Is the automation rule applicable for a specific issue type?
-
@Johnnie.Li Based on Aron response, I understood what your issue is. If you export it in excel instead of csv, then you get issue key of Parent. I have tried and it works for me i.e. clicking on Open in Microsoft Excel option gives me the parent key (but no parent summary :-( ).
-
now add one more log statement like below startdate with format = {{ startdate.toDate("yyyy-MM-dd") }} and remaining days = {{ remainingdays.asNumber }} This should log the startdate like 2025-01-18T00:00:00.0+0000 and remaining days should print like 44.9999 correctly. Let's see if the issue is happening in this step.
-
@Irene Viljoen Though clicking is not working, but if you manually type the issue key, JIRA is then able to go to next steps. have you tried this option?
-
As Trudy mentioned, Done issues may be going out of view automatically. Can you try editing one of the Done issue, so that its updated date changes, and see if you can see that issue?
-
Would you be able to share the screen shot of your board? Is your board of type kanban?
-
if you go to configure board, in General section, you will see Board filter section. Also, can you confirm if this is a team managed or company managed project?
-
@Derya Dinç From the limited information that you have given, your issue is issues exist but are not appearing on the board. Did you check if the queries associated with the board have been changed by mistake?
-
@Ivana It is possible that Product Owner is talking directly with developers to groom the tickets. Based on the discussions and agreement between PO & Developers, team may be starting work. if you are aware what labels are being used to hide the tickets from backlog, why don't you create a filter for such issues and have a…

@Johnnie.Li Your context is not clear. Automation If you are looking on how to get parent key in automation, then below will work the smart value to extract parent key is {{issue.parent.key}} Refer this article to know more about available smart values. REST APIs if you are using rest APIs to extract data, then parent will…
