@Nils Erik You can disable it board by board in the 3-dot menu... or, I think Rasmus created a way to do it in a bulk way.
-
@Rick Clark I already did by tagging Alex :)
-
@Rick Clark Totally fair concern!
-
@Rick Clark ya, I hear you there, for sure. Is there any point in the process where you could automate the adding of the due date maybe? Something like, "when a card is marked complete (any conditions to that), set the due date to now"?
-
@Rick Clark Ah, I see. So it's inside the filters in your Create a Report action where the Complete Due Date no longer exists. That's interesting that this option would go away without a replacement option created. When the card is completed (and there was a due date on the card), the due date would still be…
-
@Rick Clark - can you say more about how this broke things for you? I haven't had an issue with any of my workflows since this change. New workflows have to be modified to the Mark Card Complete vs. Mark Due Date Complete, but nothing has broken that was already in place.
-
@SJ You can! On desktop and mobile :) It's board-by-board natively (although I think that @Rasmus Wulff Jensen created a way to do it in more of a bulk way because he's awesome!) but I posted a video on YouTube showing you how to disable it board by board: https://youtu.be/awW5Cws6EYI

@James Hurley Thank you! I'm glad that this is a bug and not an update :) and I really appreciate the workaround while it is being resolved! 🙌🏻
-
@Alex has there been a related (or, unrelated 🤪) update to being able to filter by label on the mobile app? When I click the filter button now, it seems to only let me either search for a word on a card, or filter by complete/incomplete
-
@Erin Traynor you are so welcome!
-
@Erin Traynor good news, you don't need to close the card to mark it complete! That complete circle is just to the left of the card's title when the card is open as well.
-
1000% agree with you @Mike - Dreamsuite Consulting ! I, for one, love seeing the updates and investment in Trello because my biggest fear is that Atlassian decides some day to close Trello 😢 I, also, didn't love the strikethrough, but I'm super pleased to see that it was removed so quickly upon our feedback and the…

I think what @ACE is referring to is the limits for workflow runs in the Free and Standard workspaces. If any of your rules in the same workspace are running, then these limits aren't the problem.
-
@Nadine Sharma-Galarza Ya...I know it's a pain to have to do a workaround like recreating the rules...but it's definitely better than having to do all of the work manually!! Happy to help :)
-
@Nadine Sharma-Galarza sure thing! Total bummer to have to recreate, and hopefully this doesn't happen again!
-
@DiMaggio Tucci good call! For some reason, I thought she said something about checking the activity log!
-
Give a try to recreating one of them from scratch. Disable the earlier rule and then test the new rule. Does that make a difference? I'm not sure why this happens, but on occasion, I have had a similar experience and creating the rule again fresh resolved it. Certainly not ideal if there are a lot of rules affected, but…
-
Have you, by any chance, made any changes to the name(s) of your lists? Even as simple as an added space?
-
Gotcha. Then chances are, this issue has nothing to do with the changes that are rolling out. Do these rules have anything in common with each other?
-
Nadine, how scary! Are these rules being triggered by the same type of event? (ie. when the due date is marked complete, etc.)?
-
@Brittany Joiner Ya I was super worried about my existing workflows, but pleasantly surprised! I like the strikethrough for checklist items, but mostly because I hide completed items 😅 For whatever reason, a strikethrough makes it feel more cluttered-looking to me. I can see how some might like it, though. Perhaps there is…
-
@Alex , like Brittany, I'm warming to the change. I still don't like the strikethrough of the card title, but seeing how this interplays with my existing recurring tasks, it doesn't seem like much has truly changed on the practical front. @Brittany Joiner , my existing automations seem to be running just fine even though…
-
I have to be honest...jury is still out for me on this. I didn't realize that being able to mark a card complete would mean that I can't mark a due date complete anymore. A little thing, but that is such a part of my process. I'm also not yet seeing any of this on my Android mobile device even though the docs say it should…
-
Nice! I am glad to see that this can be turned on and off per board, as there are definitely situations where it's handy and others where it might just get in the way!
-
The Rovo Agents look so cool! I can't wait to play!
-
Thanks Mike! No, this was a former business email and she didn't realize that it was still linked to her Trello. I know she reached out to Atlassian support as well, so hopefully your escalation can get her a response soon!
-
Nevermind! I just needed to refresh the page!
-
This idea might be exactly what one my clients needs! I've set up the automations and they work perfectly, but I'm noticing that my linked cards aren't updating to show what list they are currently on...is there something I'm missing?
-
second this response. Noticed this a week or so ago!
-
@Sargis Balbabyan You should see it automatically if you are on a paid plan. It looks like two arrows pointing at each other on the top right of the list. Just remember that this is only available on desktop right now. Hopefully they will roll it out to mobile soon!
