@Doug Knudsen Beyond this, you are able to add individuals as "Customers" easily to your JSM project by viewing the "Customers" option in the left panel. Here, you are able to click the "Add Customers" option and invite individual users via their email. You also are given the option here for categorizing these users into…

Hi @Doug Knudsen Question: Are the "customers" you want added internal users at your company, or are they external, third-party users? If the users you are trying to add are internal, what may be happening is they do not have the appropriate "Customer" permissions against their user. In addition, the project settings may…

Hi, @Benito Weinstein; your Jira Administrator should be able to help you. Here is the Atlassian documentation on updating product access, but the goal is to be granted "Jira Product Admin". This will permit you to modify workflows, statuses, custom fields, etc.…

@jay Unfortunately I do not believe that is possible. If you're using a "Service Account" of sorts, that might work, but the easiest way is appending something to the comment body to indicate it was an automatically created comment.

@jay If I recall, the comment will be added by the "Automation for Jira" user, but you are also welcome to add a specific string of text to the comment itself to indicate it was added via a transition. Something like: Issue transitioned automatically from In Progress to Resolved. Comment added by automation.

Hi @diana_pohle , it is not possible to modify the display name of a custom field in the way you're aiming to accomplish. If I understand the problem correctly: * You have tickets that capture problems that need to be resolved * There is a "People" multi-user picker custom field which contains a list of users who can…

@Bea H You should be able to easily view your total number of assets from the "Object Schema Selection" Screen. This should list each schema you have, and the total number of objects each have. You may need to move some of your items, such as your users, to a new schema in order to have these listed separately. Here's how…

This seems to be a known issue with Atlassian Cloud. You can view and vote for a resolution on the bug ticket here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AUTO-1362 There was also an older ticket specifically related to the Attachment trigger, which seems to be closed: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/AUTO-250

Great option if comment details need to be provided as part of the REST request.

Hi @jay , if you want the same comment added to the Jira Issues after the transition is complete, I would recommend creating a Jira Automation routine to handle this. You can do this in two ways, either on a per-project basis, or as a global rule on the entire Cloud site. I would recommend starting on a per-project basis…

@Steven Wills If the Portal Settings are set such that anyone can access the portal itself, I would guess that the users who are attempting to access do not have the "JSM Customer" license. I would work with your Instance Administrators (Organization Administrators as Atlassian calls them) to ensure that all your users…

As long as you're using the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant, this shouldn't pose a challenge. You may have some additional cleanup after the migration is complete, but the data should migrate. Here's Atlassian's documentation on preventing duplication of…
