Hi @Cosmo Denger To make sure I understand you, the Confluence Space you want your users to access right away is one created via the JSM Knowledge Base feature, correct? I suspect there are a few things going on here that you'll need to update. My suspicion is that your new users are not considered "Customers" of your JSM…

@Wen Krogg A lot of notification settings in the Atlassian ecosystem are heavily focused on user choice. There are some that you can force through, but a lot are under the control of the user. What notification were you expecting your users to receive? The issue very well could be group or permissions based, but it could…

Hi @IT Support , welcome to Atlassian Community! You should be able to export all issue data as part of the Issue Search functionality in Jira Cloud. * First, you will need to navigate to the Issue Search view, which can be found by clicking "Filters" and then "View all issues". * Once here, create a JQL filter that finds…

Hi @TOPPS-GILBY, ANDREA Access to your company's Confluence instance is going to be controlled by your IT Admins. I would recommend reaching out to them using internal company communication tools (Slack, Teams, email, etc) and having them investigate your access. It's likely that your product access has been removed for…
-
Hi @Ken Obsequio I have a feeling the issue is related to how Jira is comparing the two values. If I were to guess, I can imagine the "Greater Than" condition might be expecting a plain number, and the PM PST component is throwing the comparison logic for a loop. I would suggest using the .format feature of the time…

To elaborate on the "ensure all users are listed in the Permissions" area, this is usually best done by using the "Group" that contains all users in the instance, usually the group which grants user access. If you're not an Organization Administrator, I would reach out to them and ask what the name of that group is.
-
Hi @Duarte RIght now, the Email to Ticket functionality should take the subject line of the Email sent to your Service Desk Portal, and make that the new issue summary, while taking the body of the email and making that the Description field. I do not see a way for Jira to also attach the email message file itself to the…

Hi @Wen Krogg Let me see if I can help. * Search should return all pages a user is able to see. I would make sure that you have Space Permissions set up correctly such that all users are listed. I would also double check your Page Restriction settings to ensure that same group is listed as View. What might have happened is…
-
Hi @Mohamed Saad Taha Ultimately, you have four main ways to accomplish this: * Replace all permission schemes with one that only provides Read Only access* Capture a list of all projects and their associated Permission Schemes * Create a new "Read Only" permission scheme which provides only the Browse Projects permission…
-
Additionally, if the user who submitted the ticket has a regular Jira license, barring any permission-related restrictions, they should be able to view the Jira Service Management ticket from the backend systems.
-
Viewing all requests a user has submitted can be found via the person's profile picture in the top right of the screen. Here, there is a "Requests" option which will show any created requests.
-
@Phap Hoang This is not natively supported by Jira Service Management. However, there are some add-ons in the Atlassian Marketplace which help surface some of these behind-the-scenes custom fields and options. One I have used in the past…
-
Hi @Alex Galler I think the best course to solve this is to add an Action step to create a new Variable to hold the Account ID for the custom field you're interested in. Once you do that, you can reference that new variable (which will look like any other Smart Value) in the Slack Send Message action.
-
@Dd Unfortunately creating custom fields requires that you type out each option individually. One alternate way to accomplish this may be to use the Assets feature in Jira Service Management Premium. This feature allows you to import data from a CSV, and apply that to an Object Scheme inside of Assets itself. Then, you can…

You can also try the Suspend User Access method, which removes all product licenses but retains the user in the directory itself https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/admin/organization/rest/api-group-directory/#api-v1-orgs-orgid-directory-users-accountid-suspend-access-post
-
Hi @SaiAmarendraReddy It looks like the API you may be looking for is the Remove User Access API as part of the Organization REST APIs. You can find more details here * https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/admin/organization/rest/api-group-directory/#api-v1-orgs-orgid-directory-users-accountid-delete I will say, it looks…

Hi @Joanne A Iti , If you're trying to unsubscribe from Atlassian company-wide marketing communication, you can do so at their Email Preferences Center. Try visiting this link and log in with your Atlassian Account: https://preferences.atlassian.com/ If you're trying to unsubscribe from emails on a given Atlassian Cloud…

Hi @Mc Darryl Atacador , I would first recommend using the JQL Search feature as part of the Scheduled trigger. By filtering your query at the trigger instead of as a Compare condition, you are reducing the number of iterations your automation needs to run for. This will save on your allowable automation limits, and should…

Thanks for the mention! I'm happy to provide support to the rest of the Atlassian community! :)

@Bea H Glad you were able to get it working! Happy to have helped.
-
@Bea H Ah apologies, let me see if I understand you correctly then. * You have an Assets Schema specific to tracking IT assets * The default "Key" value iterates up with new assets, but also iterates up with assets created inside other object schemas * You need a specific identifier, similar to the default Key, where the…

@Diatta Harris Happy to have helped! Glad it's working now for you.

@diana_pohle Let me know how it goes! There may be some particulars you need to massage based on your specific instance and requirements.

Glad it's now working!

Hi @Kevin Shea , Smart Values in Jira Automation are a little strange. In this example, you should be able to simply enter the smart value for the assignee directly into the user picker field on the "Edit Issues" action.
-
Hi @Diatta Harris , based on some of your previous comments, it seems you do not have the proper permissions for a given Confluence space to properly delete it. Confluence has a feature that lets you recover permissions to a space that you no longer are able to access. * Please first log in as a Confluence Administrator…

Hi @Prakriti Arora , I have encountered a similar issue to this when exporting many different types of issues, with many different custom fields. If you have a large number of issue types you need to export, I would recommend creating a JQL filter for each of the issue types. As an example, let's say you want to export 500…

@Maryam Adeleke I am going to assume you mean what it means to name your Site, in which case this is the URL and title you give your Atlassian instance. This name will become part of the URL you use to access the Atlassian tools.
-
@Doug Knudsen I found a Jira Bug ticket that seems to be similar to the issue you're facing. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-5277 Could you please determine if any of these users where you receive the error have any level of Jira Administrator privileges, in addition to no Jira software or JSM licenses? I wonder…
-
Hey @Doug Knudsen , the User Directory in the Atlassian Admin page should contain all users that you have on your instance, regardless if they are licensed Jira users, JSM Agents, or simply customers. You should be able to filter this list based on those who have "Customer Access to JSM" to see those users. If you're…
