A little history: Insight was originally an Atlassian Marketplace app created by Mindville. You could purchase the license and use Insight on Jira Server. Atlassian acquired Mindville and bundled Insight on JSM Cloud Premium and JSM Data Center starting at 4.15. They allowed legacy users to keep using Insight on Jira…

Can you show me screenshots of your attempts to set up User objects as reference attributes to your assets in the other schema?
-
Hi @Ben Greene Try these instructions: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/allow-external-emails-to-be-added-as-comments-on-issues/
-
Hello @Florian Rindberger Assets (fka Insight) is bundled with Jira Service Management Data Center since 4.15. If you're still on Server, you won't see it.
-
Hello @sev hewitt ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Have a look at this reference page which should allow your User schema to be used as a reference on other schemas. https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/allow-other-schemas-to-reference-objects-from-a-schema/

Hello @Ronaldo Furriel de Freitas My guess (and you may have to put in a ticket with Atlassian Support to confirm) is that for feature parity with your community Data Center capabilities, when you migrate to Cloud, you'd be at the Premium level with your discount in place. Cloud Premium includes the same bundled additions…

Right. The instructions specify that the target Confluence instance must be at the same version of Confluence or newer than the source Confluence instance. Just to be sure, I like to make sure both instances are at the same version (my rule, not Atlassian's)
-
Hello @Tom Sloan ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Here are instructions for importing a Confluence site from an XML backup. Be aware of the caveats (e.g. both instances must be at the same version). https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/restoring-a-site-152034.html Hope this helps

So, for the JSM project in question: Look in the Project Settings -> Details Take a look at the Project Lead value and Default Assignee. Make sure the person you want is identified as Project Lead. If it doesn't work, there may be some automation at play. Hope this helps!

Way to go, @Brant Schroeder ! This is an incredible achievement!
-
Great job as always, @Jimmy Seddon !

Hi @Maggie Rivard See if capitalizing the N in Name works. That should conform to the way it's specified in this instruction: https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-smart-values-insight/

OK, so when you set up a scan, you need to establish what patterns to use to discover devices. Out of the box pattern groups are the following: * * Windows - patterns specific to Microsoft Windows devices. * Linux - patterns specific to Linux and similar distributions. * MacOS - patterns specific to MacOS. * SNMP -…

Hello @Hólmfríður Birna Sigurðardóttir ! Velkomin to the Atlassian Community!
-
Hello @Keith Alexander ! Welcome to the Atlassian community! Does your user have Application Access (is in a group that is tied to JSM Agent licenses) to JSM? Agent licenses are required to transition JSM tickets through the workflow.
-
Hello @Cami Jara I think it depends on what pattern you have set up. It's probably a custom pattern depending on how you connect to the database.
-
Hi Maggie, I'm going to hazard a guess here because I need to see how the objects that you have for Software Impacted and Hardware Impacted fields are set up, but I think you man need to just append the .name or the attribute that references the name? So your line would look like "summary": "{(issue location]} -…

Hello @Sofia Aschettino ! Welcome to the Atlassian community! So, the cards that appear on a project's Scrum and Kanban boards are based on a board. filter. If you create a Kanban board based on the same filter, the content of the new board will be identical to the original board. It sounds like you may need to add an…

You're welcome. Happy to help.

Hi @Paul Heath Armengol ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! When you set up an Asset object that references a Service you define in the Services panel (that gets created in the read-only Services schema), create an attribute that references the Services schema. Details on this page that talks about object attributes.…

Hello @Phani Kosanam ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! We are waiting just like you are.

Those permissions look correct. Can I see the "greyed out" issue link button on one of your issues? Properly redacted, of course.
-
Do you have relevant log entries inside the logs subdirectory in your Jira Home directory?
-
hello @Flávio Henrique Licorio Leiva ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! One thing to check is if you have the Link Issues permissions for that project's permission scheme.

The upgrade guides I've sent before are good guides as far as dependencies go for: Operating system changes in support JRE/JDK support database support Have a look at those when planning your upgrade. Good luck!
-
Hi @Travis Roberts ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Here is the guide to upgrading Crowd https://confluence.atlassian.com/crowd/upgrading-crowd-22544441.html Jira and Confluence don't look too out of date, but here are the upgrade guides for those. Jira…

Actually, what determines the created schemes isn't the project template used, but if you select "Share settings with existing project". If you share settings with an existing project, your project will have its own: notification scheme issue security scheme If you don't, when you create a new project from template…

Hello @Trina Washington Barcode scanning is not something that comes "out of the box". You'll have to rely on a Marketplace app like Scanstar. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1219263/scanstar-for-insight-and-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
-
Hello @Jay Requarth ! Welcome to the Atlassian community! Let me see if I can get the attention of an Atlassian.
