Interesting article, but for some organizations, Jira Software, Advanced Roadmaps, and Confluence are not enough, especially if you're looking at levels higher than the Agile Release Train (team of teams). Atlassian themselves recognized this when they bought AgileCraft to release Jira Align.

Hello @Happenbox ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Let me escalate this to Atlassian to see if they can perform garbage collection.

I think there are references to methods of the 1.0 Insights API in the documentation. This is a link to the "oldest" version of the Assets API (9.1.16). It has references to deprecated methods, which are from Insight. https://docs.atlassian.com/assets/REST/9.1.16/ Hope this helps.

Hello @Marta Fernández Jaraíz ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! If you're on a paid plan for Confluence Cloud, you can open a support issue using the following link: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ Hope this helps!

Can you provide details such as what version of database you are on, the current version of Confluence you are on, and the version of Confluence you are upgrading to? I suspect a database incompatibility with the desired version of Confluence. You may need to upgrade the database to a version that supports your new version…

Wait, did you use @Fun Man Andy as an object lesson of what NOT to do? Brilliant!

It's been asked before here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/How-do-I-create-a-quick-filter-for-unassigned-issues/qaq-p/620878 I think you have to try "Assignee IS EMPTY"

Just north of Phoenix there's a place along the I-17 highway called Rock Springs Cafe that's famous for their pies. I picked up a few, just to celebrate. Pictured is the bourbon pecan pie, made with Jack Daniels

Hello @cmlawson ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Can you show what you select when they ask you "What product is this for"? I've supplied an example when I go to the support portal:

Being a system admin doesn't automatically allow you permissions at the project levels, as @Trudy P Claspill ably pointed out.
-
Good suggestions by everyone else. I go with the following: 1. Atlassian University is your friend. Many of the resources offered there are free. 2. Practice, practice, practice. Set up a free Jira Cloud instance and learn how to use Jira, processing to how to administer Jira. Good luck!

You should see if you have the Manage Sprints permission enabled for you.

Let's talk about basement stairs. The house I grew up in was a ranch at the ground level, but had a basement. Of course when I was younger, I was hesitant to go down those stairs into the dark. It was an exercise to get the light on and run to the next light switch. In Arizona, basements are a rarity. So I don't have that…

I would check with whoever set the plan access. When I change access to Restricted, it allows me to set the users and groups with the access.

Currently there's no EOL for Data Center. Data Center will be around after support for Server ends in 2024.

Hello @rqian ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! If you're on an older version of Bitbucket Server, you'll probably need to upgrade so that BCMA works properly.

Hello @Thomas van der Meulen ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Advanced Roadmaps appear at the menu bar, under Plans

Hello @pjackson ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Have you thought about linking the JSM issue to a Jira issue in another project? Guidance here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/best-practices-for-collaborating-with-other-jira-products/

@Dave LIAO At least you are learning from my book!

Hello @Hemant Manjrekar ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Have a look at these docs that talk about using Bitbucket Data Center to set up a cluster. https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/clustering-with-bitbucket-776640164.html

My first guess might be that your password may not be meeting any password policies. I'd talk with your DBAs to be sure. https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E95618_01/html/sbc_scz810_adminsecurity/GUID-5E974486-498E-4369-892C-E214D375AE1C.htm#GUID-5E974486-498E-4369-892C-E214D375AE1C

I feel you, @Tom langton . Yes, the integration between JSM and Confluence does create some licensing jiujitsu. I keep myself sane by remembering. Customers can view KB content without consuming a Confluence license if they view the content on the portal only. If you want them to view it on the actual space and page, then…

Welcome @Petra Sweep , to the Atlassian Community! As far as I know, the wallboard feature (which is what you described) is available to Jira dashboards only.

Here's Isabel. She's a rescue who's made herself QUITE at home!

Have you looked at JCMA to do a cloud-to-cloud migration of projects from one cloud site to another? https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/perform-a-cloud-to-cloud-migration-for-jira/
-
Hello @Ma_GD ! Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You will need to have active maintenance licenses for Jira and Confluence and their apps to have a smoother migration. The server versions you are on will work with the Cloud Migration apps, but as @Nicolas Grossi recommends, it's prudent to be on the latest LTS versions.…
-
Hello @BILL SCHWARTZ ! If your license is current, you should upgrade at least to 7.19 (latest version of LTS). I don't know how much longer 7.13 will be supported as a long-term release.
