Hi @Sugina Tharmarajah, this is a functionality that currently requires a marketplace app like resolution's Out of Office Assistant, of which I happen to be the Product Owner. The bright part of this is, we've solved it better than a manual status would solve it. What you do with our app is integrate with your calendar and…

Hi @Denise Wenczel and welcome! I'm not aware of any native options for easily integrating holidays into Jira from external sources. That's why some years ago my company built an Out of Office Assistant for Jira Cloud of which I'm the product owner. A while back we also added the ability to integrate with any HR systems…
-
It's been part of Out of Office Assistant for some time now! Give it a go @June Ma
-
Thanks @Stephen_Lugton! Let me know if you test it out
-
Thanks @Tom Russell! That makes sense with what I've experienced... alerts keep being sent to the same individual on call, even within the same team.
-
I'm sorry @Tom Russell sort of eavesdropping here... What do you mean with "keeping state from one alert to the next"?
-
Hi @Jon Happy to hear you're enjoying Jira! It's definitely flexible 😄 I'd like to add Out of Office Assistant to the list, which will prove very helpful if you want to make sure that issues are reassigned to a backup person when your users go on leave. We also have an integration with Tempo (the leader in time tracking…

Hi @Phil Grove As part of a Marketplace Partner involved in such discussions on the other side, we do appreciate Atlassian's involvement in streamlining and simplifying this
-
Hi @Matthew Kirrane I'm part of the team at resolution, and we are the developers of one of the apps that you probably have tested (HubSpot Jira integration). The product owner of the app is currently on leave so I wanted to step in to answer this question for him: I know that automating this kind of behaviors is one of…
-
I'm afraid you can't without a lot of work... that's the main reason we built an app!
-
@Michael Crane thanks for the good question! I'm no automation expert myself. However, from what I know, it's currently not possible to prevent the assignment, since the expression assignee.outofoffice.today=1 can only be evaluated once the assignee has been set. That being said, we just released an improvement in the Out…
-
Hi @Christoph Schulz , I don't really know exactly why the interaction you're mentioning doesn't work. However, if you want to get OoO notes posted in issues, Out of Office Assistant for Jira Cloud can do just that... and much more. I'm the product owner, so feel free to ask anything or request any features you'd like to…

Hi there @MSDN Account, Welcome to the Atlassian community! Sounds like you may need to add delegation workflows while your approvers are out of office. You can do this with a Marketplace App. If you're on Data Center (or in Server, you could also get a Data Center license added to your…

Hi @George Christodoulou and @Florin , I'm not sure why that happens, but I am aware that it happens, unfortunately. It probably has to do with the fact that most users would not consider it a clean experience to have out of office messages from Outlook appearing as comments in tickets. I know of a workaround in Jira…
-
Apologies, I failed to see that this question was tagged for Server! Thanks anyways for accepting my answer, @Michael S_ Morris. You can have a look at the Out of Office app for Data Center by our friends at Akeles. I don't think they have an app for Slack, but the round robin fix should be replicable.
-
Wow, fantastic guide!
-
Hi @Michael S_ Morris, I recently wrote a guide here in the community on how to combine a round robin in Automation for Jira with Out of Office rules, so that the round robin skips absent users. You would need resolution's Out of Office for Jira Cloud to do this (here's the link to the marketplace). I'm the product owner,…

@Devansh Prasad I'm not an expert in SLAs, but as far as I know, they are always combined with your business hours. Example: You have a 6 hours SLA for TFR and your business hours are Mo to Fri from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. A customer creates a ticket on Saturday, at 7:30 am. Your SLA should start counting at 9:00 on Mo, and…
-
Hi @Devansh Prasad , I believe @Danut M _StonikByte_ is quite right. However, if your goal is to ensure that SLAs are not breached because of assignments to agents who are out of office, I suggest that you look into Out of Office apps in the marketplace. I'm the product owner for the leading app in this category, Out of…

@Andy Heinzer thank you, that's much appreciated!!

Hi! I have an article in moderation in App Central about the launch of a new app. After double-checking these guidelines against the article, it's still not clear to me why it's being considered as spam. It's my understanding that App Central content can include explicit content about an app, as long as it doesn't contain…
-
Hi @Mohamed Saad Taha Just because of the mention to existing plugins -- if you are on JSM cloud, you can look up our Out of Office Assistant. I'm the app's product owner and would be happy to discuss any details.

What kind of access do customers have to HubSpot? Do they actually log into your production environment? In other words, I guess you'd have to explain what's the definition of a customer in your case. Are you a marketing agency providing managed HubSpot for them?
-
Hi @ena.egbe There are so many approaches for integrating Jira Service Management with HubSpot. What would you like to do, what's the user journey? Would you like your customers to be able to create tickets in JSM from your website?
-
Thanks! Gotta try this :)
-
Hey @Alexander Ziegltrum here you go: https://app.swaggerhub.com/apis/resolution-cloud/jira-outofoffice/1.0.2 Hope you can achieve what you're looking for!
-
You mean that you would like to remove the ability to navigate the customer portal?
-
Oh and yes, the app mentioned by @RVS_Support is in fact free -- you can see that because there's no pricing tab on the marketplace.
-
Hi @awais akhter , and welcome to the comunity! As you may know, if your team has 10 users or less, many of the apps in the marketplace will have no cost for you. You can check that in the pricing calculator for each app's listing. If you have more than 10 users, then I'm afraid there will not be many good free options,…
