If nothing has been changed configuration-wise, please check whether you might have unpinned the "Time Tracking" field by accident:
-
Hey @Ayşegül Yavuztürk , Are you referring to estimation (Original and Remaining Estimate) or logging time (Time Tracking)? Those fields have to be available on your tasks to make use of this functionality. For Team-Managed projects, head to the "Work types" section in your project settings. For Company-Managed projects,…

Hey @Steeve P_ , I've just created a new "JSM-only" site to verify, and you're right. Users need a Jira seat to work with boards. However, the free tier should still be sufficient if the group of people using this "overview board" is not larger than 10 users (or for initial testing purposes).

"Sherif-sclusive" - I like!
-
Hey @AgileHappyLearner , As stated by the others, this is not a trivial task. If your "Data Center" flag is correct here and using a third-party app is an option for you, I'd suggest checking out Jira Workflow Toolbox and its Move issue post function, which lets you move issues between projects. Please let me know if you…
-
Hey @Youmna Alomari , As far as I know, the only projects that come with a Kanban Board out of the box are the ones being created using the Kanban Template. You should also be able to create boards via the API (see https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/software/rest/api-group-board/#api-rest-agile-1-0-board-post), but…
-
Hey @Steeve P_ , We've built something similar for our app support using a Kanban board that includes all the relevant projects via filter. That might be an option if both of your projects use similar workflows (see https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/create-a-kanban-board-based-on-projects/). Create a…

Are you affected as well? If so, could you please verify your personal notification settings? (%yourSite%/jira/settings/personal/notifications)
-
Hey @mrane , Just to be sure: are the people who should receive the email already added as watchers on issue creation? Perhaps there's an interference with personal notification settings here? Have you checked the Project email audit within the project setting already…
-
Hey @Vishnupriyaravi , There are many variables left in your question, e.g., how the board is set up, a specific user vs. all users etc. However, assuming you want to have (all licensed?) users being able to create issues in a specific project, you might want to have a look at the project permissions…

Hey @Heiko Gerlach, Thanks a lot for your thoughtful comment and for taking the time to test the app and share your feedback. You raise some valid and important points that I'd love to address. Why we chose the database approach 📦 The core challenge we aimed to solve with this update was log aggregation across multiple…

You're welcome @Jill Tunick . If that answer solved your request, please mark it as correct. Thanks!

I agree with @John Funk here (like always!?) - the risk of accidental deletion is too significant without recovery options. Besides, I don't like gaps in the consecutive numbering of work items.
-
@Darryl Lee Speaking for us and Jira Workflow Toolbox - while we'd really like to follow a more proactive approach towards our users, not knowing * which field type is behind a custom field ID and * when the changes have to be made unfortunately takes away our options.
-
@Darryl Lee Great summary.

Most of the anticipation is about the new location and the new circumstances. Even if everyone was a little tired of Vegas, you knew the best routes and shortcuts by now. Now, the cards are being reshuffled. Besides, reconnecting to the extraordinary ecosystem is at the top of the list.
-
Thanks for the article, @SilkeS! I need to try out the account linking feature.
-
Hey @Luis Felipe Tomazela , You should be able to edit the colors in List view: As far as I know, you can't define patterns or rules, though. Regards, Thorsten
-
Hey @Jill Tunick , Since the highlighted box represents a JQL query, you should be able to use your severity field there (if it's available on your site). Have you tried deleting the query and restarting it from scratch? All matching issues for that SLA should be recalculated when updating an SLA. Regards, Thorsten

Hi @pbaldwin * head over to http://admin.atlassian.com/billing * select the billing account of interest (if you have multiple) by clicking "Manage" * select "Billing permissions" in the left menu There, you should find the list of billing admins configured. For additional information…

Nice overview @Mindy Park and team! I'll definitely have to try those Confluence Smart Buttons.
-
@Kristen Roth Thanks for the hint!
-
Hey @Beatriz , While this might not be possible out of the box, a workflow app from the Atlassian Marketplace capable of evaluating so-called Jira expressions will do the trick. Taking Jira Workflow Toolbox as an example, the required steps would be as follows: * Open the workflow editor and select the transition of…

Hey @Geoff Stuart, I've just looked it up myself and made the following observation: On my initial visit, Quick Record was not being shown. I had to access the Loom extension once via the extension panel (upper right corner) and close it again. Since then, the Quick Record appears automatically whenever I access the page.…
-
Hey @Geoff Stuart What exactly do you mean when you say that you disagree? This overview also states Loom Quick Record is a one-click record tool that shows up on these sites. Regards, Thorsten
-
Hey @Geoff Stuart , Great question regarding the dedicated group. It's about time, I'd say! Regarding the Quick Record feature, AFAIK, this only controls which websites the Quick Record controls are shown on when using the Loom Chrome extension and browsing the web:…
-
Hey @Sam Lin Since you can't validate the actual work logging, this approach aims to transition the issue to a status where work logging isn't allowed anymore after the 30-day threshold.
-
Hey @Srinivas Salver, Depending on your current rule consumption, your scenario should be doable using a dedicated status, e.g. 'Closed', and a scheduled automation rule, that * runs daily * searches for issues that have been resolved more than 30 days ago and are in 'Done' status (and optionally further clauses to adapt…
-
Hi @Vasu Dev , This might not be doable with out-of-the-box features. The "Created vs. Resolved Chart" gadget for dashboards probably comes closest, but it has some flaws. For example, as the name suggests, "created" issues are also displayed, and the period cannot be specified statically either since it's controlled via a…
-
Hey @Ismael , Have you used the "Sub-Task Blocking Condition" to hide the transition? If that's the case, the transition button is hidden/the transition is not shown if your Condition evaluates false since this evaluation is done before the user is able to take action. To provide your users with visual feedback, you would…
