Hi Glossar 👋
-
Exactly, you have to start typing. It's unintuitive but I guess it's connected with getting a list of organizations from API. Atlassian has got their Jira to create tickets with bugs or request new features: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa I was looking for a similar ticket but I didn't find anything.

Hi @Cameron Loperfido , It's a system field. You can't have any influence on it. Kate

Hi Kathryn, If you configure that customers can create new accounts on your portal, you don't have to create all of them in JSM settings. You can use our app HubSpot CRM Integration for Jira. If someone from your Hubspot list creates a ticket in Jira, you'll see all information about this person on the issue view. But if…

Hi @Dulus Catalin , You can achieve it with our app Feature Bundle for Jira Service Management. We have a feature called Request Types access. Thanks to this, you can define when the request type is available on the customer portal and for whom. In your case, you have to use JQL to define when the request type is available…

Hi @Mariusz Mika , 1. You can achieve it only by feature Edit request provided by our app Feature Bundle for Jira Service Management. Unfortunately, natively is not possible. 2. The Assignee field can be visible on My Requests page. If you want to present it on the request, our app mentioned above has got also this feature…

Hi, Unfortunately, such functionality is not available out of the box. You can achieve it using our app Customer Details for Jira Service Management. Thanks to it, you can define fields where you want to store this additional data. What's also helpful, they can be filled not only by agents but also by customers. If you…

Hi, Unfortunately, there is no possibility to do it using native functionalities. You can store this data in some external sources, for example, the Excel spreadsheet - but it's not very useful. If you want to store this data in Jira, you can add additional information about your customers and organizations using the…

Hi @Rafik G , Stephen described it in detail in the answer under your post: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management/Add-2-contacts-with-a-free-account-Jira/qaq-p/1983248 If you need support with our app, create a ticket on our customer portal. Cheers,

It's fantastic how many tools Jira integrates with! 👏 They also develop in the form of apps. In the case of HubSpot, our team has created a dedicated app for Jira, responding to more advanced customer needs: HubSpot CRM Integration for Jira.

Hi @Katherine Stevens , I don't know any option to define that some rule works only in some specific time as a general setting. But I see that you can use specific dates in conditions, for example Issue fields condition where it's possible to select a Created date and put a specific date. Could you please share your…

Hi @Chad Cox , You can achieve it using our app Issue Merger PRO for Jira. We created an automation module which you configure under project settings. You can define when issues should be merged - in your case when the same summary exists in the project. You can also set some conditions, for example which statuses do you…

Hey @Reine Berg, This problem is one of use cases when our app Issue Merger PRO for Jira comes in handy. Using our automation, you can define that if an issue is created and a summary contains an issue that existed in your project, the whole body will be merged to this source issue. You can also define that this "re:"…

Hello @Vanessa Becker, As I understand, you want to add informative text for customers. You can achieve it using our app Feature Bundle for Jira Service Management. It allows you to define banners for request form (it can be different on each requests type) where you can put information which you need. It's configurable in…

Hey @[deleted]! In native Jira Service Management, there is no option to collect additional data about customers and organizations. It's very limited in comparison with similar products on the market. On the Atlassian Marketplace, you can find a dedicated app for it: Customer Details for Jira Service Management. With this…

Hi @Thorsten Meyer , Currently, we support only Reporter field but it's the first version of our app :) We're completely open to new features! Please create a ticket on our support. We would like to meet your use case closer (for example, why do you use a text field for email instead of user picker field? 🤔). After a short…

Hello, The "Organizations" field is the same for both projects, team and company. I've already checked it. If you create a new organization under Project settings > Customers in the team-managed project, you can use it also in the company-managed project. It's due to fact that Organizations are saved globally.…

@Paloma Fondon Araujothis app has been released a few weeks ago. Previously, we had technical limitations to implement a custom field on Jira cloud which is available on Create issue screen and searchable via JQL. But thanks to the Forge platform, our dreams came true :) I hope that you find time to try our app. In case of…

Thanks to this article I had a chance to meet and try your app :) It makes me impressed! I feel that we start using it in our team. Congratulations! I also created a feature request (sorry... 🙈) to support our custom field from Multilevel Select for Jira described here.
