Update, 3rd December 2024: We have decided not to go ahead with the change. We have found a way to continue supporting attachments when creating a linked issue from the issue view. There will be no changes rolling out to JSM. Thanks, Sam Knight

Hey Tim, thanks for the message! We had a lot of feedback that creating a new security scheme from scratch was extremely tricky to navigate. Editing existing schemes is a task that proved much simpler. We wanted to create a starting point that could be edited to requirements, and so we didn't want to include too many roles…

Hi all - thanks for your feedback and questions! - This was a top 5 voted JSM customer suggestion - and we can see a lot of you are using this already which is great to see! - There is not currently a way to have the validation applicable to the child, though you can specify that a certain child is selected (e.g. a…

Hey James, integrations is certainly something we hear a lot about and is something we know will enable a lot of operational efficiencies and great employee experiences. Great to hear from you, Steven! We hear that retaining the best talent is top of mind for a lot of our customers, and HR tech has an important role to play! Have you explored any specific HR platforms that you think would be a good fit for integration with Atlassian?
-
Hello YY哥, great to hear from you! When it comes to replacing features in an electronic HR system with Atlassian products, it really depends on the specific needs and workflows of the HR team. While our products can certainly be configured to meet these needs, there may be certain specialised features in an EHR or OA…

Thanks John! We're certainly seeing a lot of use cases for Assets, particularly for processes like onboarding where they can be used to determine which software/hardware/access badges need to be arranged depending on the employee. The more we learn about the core HR services that JSM supports the more we see opportunities…

Thanks @Eli Devlin ! I appreciate your suggestion around setting permissions at a group level, this is being considered as a future enhancement but is not currently on our roadmap. Happy to confirm that if a user does not have permissions to raise any of the Request Types in a Portal Group, they will not see the Portal…

Awesome! I won't be there personally, but I've given another PM looking into this in our team, Jehan Gonsalkorale, a heads up

Hello @John Funk , thanks for your question! Completely agree that providing configurations out-of-the-box would be a big help for HR teams getting started (and adding more types of work) in JSM. We've seen a lot of uptake with the new project templates in JSM - giving us a strong signal that there is a lot of value for…
