Hi @nick.mantzios Can I clarify what you want to do with sub-tasks please? I find it really useful to set up automation rules to create new sub tasks when a particular request type is used to raise an issue. For example - when an on onboarding ticket comes in, IT have a sub task assigned to them to assign a laptop, HR have…

Hi @nhuynh Yes it's possible: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/import-and-export-your-data-to-and-from-jira-cloud/ You have a few options and they are covered in the documentation.

Great webinar - thanks!
-
Excellent post - glad I stumbled across this!
-
Hi @Shana Is this still open for new entrants?
-
Awesome - thanks!
-
Now you mention it Jira does feel faster! Good work - keep it up :)
-
Hi @Ifrah Samatar - is this still open?
-
It's made a huge difference to our organisation - we use it to route almost all BAU work through to the right people. It was also instrumental in achieving iso 27001 and 9001, by providing a framework for auditability.

Wow, there's a lot of content on there! Good link Dave, bookmarked for a browse later on.
-
I've signed up for access and had a confirmation email back today - just waiting for access to see what it's all about! I'll be interested to see how it integrates with Qlik Sense and Power BI.

Thanks for the data residency documentation link! This will come in handy

Hi @Hoc An epic won't automatically show as done when all the issues within it are completed (by default). You'll still need to go into the epic and change the status to done. You can use an automation rule to do set further epics to move to the done status once all issues it contains are completed. Go to project settings…

Great video, thanks @Monika Rani

Hi @Pete P Is the project you're using classic or next-gen? You can change the workflow and add in a new status on either but is a bit different depending on which you are using.

Hi @[deleted] If you email support@trello.com I'm sure they will be able to help you.

Hi @Charlene Regan This is a an Atlassian forum so we mainly answer questions regarding Jira / Confluence/ Bitbucket - anything Atlassian really. We'd love to have you as part of our community but we can't give you much advice on workday I'm afraid. Kind Regards
-
Hi @iyen The documentation will give you a lot of insight into the differences - this should allow you to whether it makes sense for your company to move to Cloud: https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/compare-atlassian-cloud-vs-server-744721664.html

Hi @JRodney Estrada I would definitely advise to go with a new project, and create a board in one of those projects that contains both projects if you want to see the issues all in the same board. Boards are good for displaying issues in different ways but you're better off recording all the issues from each project at…

Hi @Steve Elgan Users can manage their own notification settings (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/manage-your-jira-personal-settings/) There are four options that can be changed by the user so it's worth asking them to check they have the fourth box (mentioned) checked, otherwise they won't receive…

Hi @Ryan Kaye It does indeed! In your project you'll see a lightning bolt icon which will allow you to create automations. Alternatively you can go to 'project settings' on the left hand sidebar and select 'automation' From here you can create a rule (navigate to the rules tab from this image) and specify which sub-tasks…

Hi @eirens So if you choose cloud annual it will cost the same for 1 users as it would for 10 users 5 users annual = $700 / year 5 users monthly = $420 / year 10 users annual = $700 / year 10 users monthly = $840/ year

Hi @Tatenda Gwena It depends on the add-on and whether you're using cloud/server/DC but generally add-ons are available in every project. You can usually email the add-on provider before you sign up to ask but there is no general functionality to allow it across all add-ons.
-
Hi @Fred Deichler Are you only expecting each ticket to have 1 link - that's easier to work around:
-
You're welcome
-
Hi @mshannon You could try bringing in the projects themselves that go into the board - you can filter anything you don't need out of the plan. I have a feeling that if your board filters Epics out this would flow through into your plan. It's a bit more tricky to set up levels of hierarchy above Epic (initiative etc.) but…
-
Hi @David Anderson In a project roadmap you can only see issues from that project. If you're on the Premium plan then you get access to Advanced Roadmaps - a different product (formerly Portfolio but now integrated into Jira Premium) which will allow you to arrange multiple projects/boards/filters in one view. It's pretty…

There are 3 levels of hierarchy in Jira: Level 1 - Epic Level 2 - Task/Story/Bug Level 3 - Sub task Level 2 is a parent issue, Level 3 is a child issue. To create a child issue you can use the ellipsis (...) in the top right and select 'create sub-task'. You can also use settings to convert a Level 2 issue into a sub-task…

I'm currently using it to manage buying and renovating a house in London!

Hi @Nick van der Net In classic projects you can set workflows by issue type but it is not possible in next gen projects... yet! https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/whats-new/next-gen#intheworks They are working on it and it will be available this year, although we can't say when yet I'm afraid.
