Hi @Klutmann It's possible to create a master calendar with all of your board's due dates, either within Trello or by linking your boards to an external calendar like Google. There's a few ways to accomplish this 1) Using the iCal feed: http://help.trello.com/article/811-viewing-cards-in-a-calendar-view 2) Use Cronofy for…

Yes - you can: The associated issue source can be a project - Advanced Roadmaps will help you schedule your work based on the predicted velocity in story points
-
Can't wait to try out the new features!
-
Advanced Roadmaps for real-time view of projects in flight at programme and company strategic level is awesome. It's changed the way I manage projects!
-
Nice video stash! Bookmarking this

very cool, thanks @Digimetis

Hi @aynura.nasibova You could download the issues into a csv ( https://www.jetbrains.com/help/youtrack/standalone/export-issues-csv-excel-format.html) and then import them into Jira from there. You will need to explore how to map the Fields but it should be a quick way to add them all when you're happy with the import…
-
Hi @Laura Spencer Absolutely! Advanced Roadmaps is great for doing just that. You can set up a plan and select the specific projects/boards/filters that you want to see in it, and then configure exactly what you want to see. You can even save different views to switch around quickly to explore the progress and blockers at…

Hi @Patrick Till It's a great feature suggestion but nothing is available out of the box. You could set up some bespoke reporting and decide on your own reward system but a manual effort MahaloHR is a paid service that could help with the rewards system https://www.mahalohr.com/integrations/jira/ Have a look on the…

Hi @Sam There's no free plugins unfortunately - the official Outlook app is only available for cloud. Tempo itself has an Outlook plugin that would do what you're looking for, but it's also only for cloud I'm afraid. https://www.tempo.io/blog/track-time-faster-in-jira-with-the-microsoft-365-calendar-integration Just to…

Yes, maybe - I thought you wanted to import Jira issues from an external system but I'm not sure what your use case is if it's not to create new issues. Unfortunately no, you can't choose which settings to give an admin access to. There are project specific permissions you can give, and global permissions you can give, but…
-
No Jon, you can assign this global permission to a group without assigning them as an administrator. They won't have access to edit workflows, automations, other settings
-
Hi @Jon , Yes, I meant to use the bulk upload through the 'create' issue menu: Changing the global permissions for 'jira-software-users' group will give everyone access to this 'import issues' button so they can upload .csv files
-
Go to the Settings cog: System Then Global permissions: And then grant the 'make bulk change' permission to a group that has the users in (jira-software-users is everyone).
-
Hi Jon, No, my suggestion is not to give admin privileges. You can choose or create a group to give the 'bulk change' permission to - that gives them the ability to upload from a csv file or select multiple issues to edit at the same time.
-
Hi @Michael There's a built-in Excel export feature that allows you to send whatever issue fields you like into an Excel or GSheet file. If you go to issues and then advanced search you'll see the icons to click on and be guided through the process. You'll need to install the add-on but once you do you can choose which…

Hi Andrew, I would advise looking into Advanced Roadmaps. It allows you to have levels of hierarchy above Epics and manage multiple views of your issues. It means teams can work at the project level as they're used to, but you can track progress at a higher strategic level. I've been using it for a while now and it's…
-
Hi @Jon There's a global setting called bulk change. You can get to it through the settings cog > system > global permissions If you add the jira-software-users group then any user can import from csv via the 'create' menu. I think to import from Trello, Jira Server/Cloud or JSON you'd need to give admin access so that…

Welcome to the community @Sam Boucot and Natasha! It's a fantastic resource for learning and sharing!
-
Hi @VARStreet Admin There's a share button if you want to do it ad hoc Jira also has automation rules that could send out notifications whenever you make a note, or based a wide range of conditions / criteria.
-
No problem! There are some free resources available - https://training.atlassian.com/free-training-catalog for example As a guide next gen project settings are largely contained within the project. They're designed to be easier to use and less reliant on having an experienced administrator to make changes to project…
-
Hi Liz, Yes - You can set up new issue types via the settings cog > issue types. You'll need to add these to classic projects by changing the issue type scheme in the project: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/add-edit-and-delete-an-issue-type-scheme/ It's a bit more straightforward in next gen…
-
Excellent choice!
-
Hi @liz There's some useful info here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/learn-the-differences-between-classic-and-next-gen-projects/ If you'd like to see a comparison between the two there's a really good one further down tha pgae…

Welcome to the community! If you're managing programmes I can recommend Advanced Roadmaps if you can get your hands on Jira Premium
-
very exciting, I'll be there!
-
🙂 I had a look last night but I need work out the jql. Bare with me, I might have what you need 👍
-
Awesome 👍 thanks
-
Hi @victoriasargsyan96 Do you mean you've already added the client and they can see other projects or that they have previously been given a Jira license and can see some projects already (which you're ok with)? If you want to add them to their first project just assign them a license in administration and go to project…
