Haven't come across this. Did you try clearing cookies and local storage as well? Or try in privacy mode. Otherwise it might be a case for Atlassian support.

Are there any hints in the audit logs for the automation rule?
-
Hi @Defne Alpdogan The best starting point is Jira's built in automation feature: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/features/automation If you want to describe in more detail what you are trying to achieve, I might be able to point you in the right direction. To get started you might want to look at this article that…

Hi @Lukáš Polidar I don't think what you are looking for is possible with Jira automation. I believe you can only send emails to users in the system, likely to prevent spamming and abuse. You can find a somewhat related feature request here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-4309 Cheers, Jens

Hi @ina_kolarova unfortunately there isn't enough information here to provide advice. Have you tried contacting the support team as advised by the error message?
-
Great, glad you managed to figure it out @Martin Kay

@bart no worries. You certainly can use sprint names for fix versions. The disadvantage of course is the lack of meaning, specifically if you use the version names publicly. Out of interest, what makes the major.minor mapping tricky? Most of the releases will simply increase the minor part of the version number.
-
Hi @Martijn Schuurmans , If you are referring to the challenge of creating the same version in multiple projects, this has been covered in a few posts already. You can find one answer here. To summarise: It is possible to synchronise the creation of release versions in Jira using Jira Automation. For creation:* Trigger:…

Sorry about the bad example, it wasn't meant to be literal. Should have made that clearer. The syntax is based on the JavaScript object. Without having tested it, I would expect it to work the same way. Take a look at the examples for the JavaScript…

Hi @Stipe Nenadić This question has been answered in the past: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/How-to-Remove-Site-amp-Org-Admin/qaq-p/1812648 To quote from the answer: You need to Reactivate the User's Email Address to log in with his credentials and Make Other User as Org Admin. Please check with…

Hi, I've seen teams use a number of different conventions. It really depends on your product and preference: * Major.Minor.Patch.Build This is the most common versioning convention. The major version number is incremented when there are major changes to the software, such as new features or breaking changes. The minor…

Hi @Jane Zhou The screenshot looks like it's coming from a local server instance. The highlighted content appears to be an app that might be messing up the layout. If you control the app, you can try to fix it or alternatively uninstall it. Jens

Hi @Jean-Philippe Ehret Take a look at Atlassian Intelligence. Those are the AI features that have been announced so far by Atlassian. I believe this is just the beginning though. Cheers, Jens

Make sure that you have the necessary permissions to access the editmeta data in both environments. It's possible that the user you are using to make the API call in production does not have the necessary permissions.

Hi @Martin Kay Jira Expressions support a subset of JavaScript string methods, but not the full set. Unfortunately, startsWith() is not one of the supported methods. However, there are a couple alternative ways to achieve the same result. You can use the matches operator with a regular expression to match the beginning of…
-
@hroy it's unlikely that we will see that anytime soon. That would be a fundamental change to the information architecture in Jira and a hard change to make technically.
-
Welcome to the community @Raja rajeswari Gurram 1995 Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much information on how to move from digital.ai to Jira. I'm not familiar with the digital.ai platform either. However, I can give you some general, high level guidance. Note that Atlassian only supports CSV or JSON imports. But…

It is generally not recommended to use story points for billing purposes. Story points are a relative unit of measurement used in Agile development to estimate the effort required to complete a task or user story. They are not intended to be a precise measurement of time or cost. Here is a good article on why it's not a…

Hi @Kevin Höbig Although the name says "Offen" the tickets are actually in a "Done" state, indicated by the green colour and the fact that the key has a strike-through. Items that are "Done" are only displayed on the board for a certain number of days (I believe 14 days) before they disappear in the archive. Otherwise the…
-
Hi @Matt B , That query is not possible out of the box. However, there are a couple of 3rd party apps that provide this functionality. You can find more details in the following thread: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/JQL-for-Commented-by-user-and-commented-date/qaq-p/1410972 Cheers, Jens Released.so -…

Have you tried using Jira automation for this? It's a bit more flexible and easier to configure. Below is an example of what that might look like. Cheers, Jens Released.so - Release notes powered by Jira

Hi Rena, Take a look at this thread: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/JQL-to-show-all-issues-and-subtasks-in-an-epic/qaq-p/1432325 The thread outlines how to get all subtasks in "Team Managed" and "Company Managed" projects. This seems to be the best answer in the thread. parentEpic in (EPIC-1,…

Hi @Trevor Clokie This is a guess, haven't been able to validate it. However, it looks like the reason the code never returns a result is that the getPageContent function returns a promise, but the function run does not wait for the promise to resolve. In the run function, when getPageContent is called, it starts executing…

Hi @Sam Spencer I do not believe there is a way to access the user properties in bulk. However, it might be worth asking in the developer community: https://community.developer.atlassian.com Cheers, Jens Released.so - Release notes powered by Jira

Not out of the box. That would require a script, or potentially one of the apps on the marketplace could do it. But I'm not aware of one that specifically covers this use-case.
-
Hi Cameron, Just guessing here, but I think you might still be able to access the tickets, but won't be able to edit or interact with them any longer. But like @Ollie Guan said, to be sure, just get in touch with support. Cheers, Jens Released.so - Release notes powered by Jira

Hi @Rich Le Tasks and Decisions are special content objects that have more advanced capabilities, such as the reporting. This functionality is not supported for generic lists out of the box. It might be worth looking through the marketplace to see if there is an app that might help aggregate content across different pages.…

Hi @Michael Tran I think the only answer right now actually is the "Agile Wallboard Gadget". Not sure what you mean with "it doesn't apply to Cloud". I just tried it on our Cloud instance and it works like a charm. Cheers, Jens Released.so - Release notes powered by Jira

Hi @Grant Sirett When Jira receives an email from a Google Group that forwards emails to the support system, it will use the "From" address in the email headers to determine the reporter of the issue. Jira will not be able to use the "Reply-To" address as the reporter of the issue because it is not included in the email…
