I was thinking that something changed about the notification icon and I wasn't sure what 😁 The bell feels so natural I thought it was there forever 🔔.... Nice improvements, thank you!

That's really impressive! Keep it up @G subramanyam 🙌

I really liked this idea when it was announced but then a new workflow to create projects appeared on our instances and it is sooooo complicated. The amount of information on this page makes me really anxious, I hope it'll get simpler over the time 🤓

Hi @Wilson Farrell , I just wanted to let you know that last week we released the first improvements to the update template user journey. Now you won't get a confirmation modal when you're switching between the templates and there are no actual changes done to the template itself. This should make all experience less…
-
That makes perfect sense @Wilson Farrell thanks for the suggestion! You'll see these changes in the app soon as we're just about to pick them up next week.
-
Hi @Wilson Farrell it looks like you created a new template when you were saving changes instead of saving them into the existing one. When you apply some changes to the template that is being used in more than 1 project then when you click on "Save changes" the app will ask you if you want to store these changes in all…

Hi Mikhail, I'm happy to let you know that we introduced a custom field with a Priority score that can be used in the Advanced roadmaps, it's called "Priority Score for Advanced Roadmaps". If you need any help or have any questions you can always let us know on our support portal. Thank you, Nikki

Hi @SETH HARRISON BAKER We just deployed improvements to loading a large number of issues so you shouldn't experience the error message anymore.

The calendar feature looks fab! 🤓💙
-
Mine it's not animated but it's still purrrrfect! 😂 I usually use it when reviewing work or testing as a sign of approval.

Hi Mikhail, I looked at the configuration of the Priority Score custom field and noticed that the field is labelled as "locked" and assigned a custom field type when it was generated by Foxly so no-one accidentally deletes this field. The advance roadmap does not seem to like this setting and that's why it doesn't allow…

Also @edward huang , if you're looking for custom reporting maybe instead of extracting data you can check if there is any plugin that will help your use case. That way you won't need to maintain your custom solution. Some of the analytics plugins for Jira Cloud I found are: Custom Charts and Reports EazyBi Performance…
-
Hi @edward huang , to answer the last question. You don't have direct access to Jira database. However, you can extract data using cloud APIs https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/intro/ For example, this get issue that matches JQL API might be handy for your analytics but there is so many more. And…

Hi @Namrata Pawar , if you don't want to maintain multiple versions in different project manually you can use Swanly app (for Jira Cloud) that will do it for you. I wrote a post about this topic and how the app works a few months back, you can have a look…
-
Hi @Volker Scholl In Jira, you can't assign any tags or create stages for your releases by default. You could build something similar using an external release management application like Plutora or look for a different release management plugging on Atlassian marketplace. Swanly plugin is specializing in templating and…

Hi @David Thomas unfortunately, it's not possible to create cross-project releases in Jira out of the box. The only solution, for now, is to maintain versions manually in multiple projects or use a Jira app to do this for you. I wrote a post about this topic a few months back, you can have a look here:…
-
Hi @Muthu Kumar M , you can definetly do this in Foxly. To do more advanced filtering, like the one you're mentioning, you can use JQL filters instead of basic ones in Foxly. JQL used for filtering in your case will be following, just replace the names of issue types with the ones you're looking for: issuetype in…

No problem @Morris Coyle, let me know if I can help with anything else or you have some feedback :)
-
Hi @Morris Coyle , I'm happy to see you're setting up automation with Foxly custom fields. There are 2 ways you can go about it. 1. If the Jira custom field doesn't have exact same values as Foxly fields. Eg: In Effort Jira custom field you're setting values like Medium, Small, Large And Foxly has these values: XS, S, M,…

I think you could use Automation for Jira and custom field. If you would create the rule that saves the current date to the custom field every time issue is linked to the version. Then you could use this field in your reports and search. I never tried but I think this will be possible.
-
Hi @[deleted] , you can find this information in the issue history. Simply open the ticket, click on the History tab under the description and find the Fix version in the history log, see the example on the screenshots below :)

We use https://n8n.io/ to add Social Media posts (Jira tickets) to our Google calendars. n8n.io is free tool, you just need to host it yourself :)

Hi @Evan Anselmi I had a look on the formula and it looks like you're adding all metrics together and you're dividing only the last one "Clients Site Conversions" with Effort. Depending on what your other values are it might be possible that Effort doesn't have much weight in your formula score calculation because of that.…

Hi @Evan Anselmi we just launched the JQL filter as promised so you should be able to filter priority table by Sprint now. This will also allow you to filter the Priority table by anything you can possibly JQL in the current project. Foxly also remembers JQL you last used, so you don't need to type it every time to access…

Hi @Dmitry Muskhabov , we just launched a new JQL filter in Foxly. This will allow you to filter the Priority table in Foxly by anything you can possibly JQL in the current project. Foxly also remembers JQL you last used, so you don't need to type it every time to access the app :) Here is a link to the documentation.…

Hi @Evan Anselmi to calculate the score you need to fill all metrics that are used to calculate this score. If it's possible that some of your metrics aren't always applicable you can create a new label in these metric with the name "not applicable" and assign a value that would make sense (0 or 1 depending on how your…

Perfect 👌 you can try formula adjustment for now then. I noted the suggestions you gave to make sure we include them in future sprints :)
