Hey Anna, we're currently developing a number of AI powered features similar to what you're suggesting. I recommend checking out this page to learn more and sign up for early access.

Some good observations in the other responses. I'd also point out that opening links in new tabs violates accessibility guidelines, see WCAG2.0 G200: In general, it is better not to open new windows and tabs since they can be disorienting for people, especially people who have difficulty perceiving visual content. On a…

The page tree only displays the descendants of your space overview by default. To add descendants to your space overview, you can: 1. Use the view in your second screenshot to drag and drop pages to be children of "Customer Success" (your space overview) 2. Navigate to Space Settings -> Manage Pages -> Reorder to drag and…

Hi @Rickman, Sean If you contact support (https://support.atlassian.com/contact), we can assist you from there. There is no known incident at the moment with the page tree, so it's likely something went wrong during the migration process.

Hi @Michael Billingsley, I see you're a product manager. Depending on your use case, you might be interested in our new beta product Jira Product Discovery. One of its features is allowing people to vote and comment on product ideas! You can read more and try it out here:…

Hi @Havva Cansu Kirtay Great suggestion! Although this functionality is not available today, in the future it should be possible to configure an automation rule that accomplishes something similar. You can read more here about this upcoming feature and how to sign up…

Hi @Ellen Grace Henson , No need to install add-ons for interactive Google Docs and Sheets embeds. They are supported natively. Just paste the Google link in the Confluence editor and choose "Display as embed": For the full editing experience you still need to navigate to the doc/sheet directly. The embed for Google Slides…

Hi @Sydney Edlund, Only the descendants of a space's Overview (homepage) appear in the page tree. You can move your reusable pages to be siblings of the Space Overview. This effectively hides them from your users if navigating using the sidebar. The easiest way to do this is in Space Settings -> Manage pages -> Reorder. On…

Hi @arinblack ! One option to consider is using the Page Properties + Page Properties Report macros. If you wrap the content you want to aggregate in a Page Properties macro, you can use the Page Properties Report to get that content using the page's label.
-
@Richard Hancock assuming the pages are in the same page tree, you can simply drag and drop pages to reorder them directly from the page tree. As mentioned in other answers, the ••• > Move dialog can also be useful, but is really only necessary if you are moving pages between spaces.

Hi @mark.moynihan You can choose a skin tone via the bottom right of the emoji picker:

Hi @HoumanB, there's no need to install a third party add-on to get this info. You can see incoming links to any page: * Click the "More actions" menu (the ...) in the top corner of the page. * Hover over "Advanced details" * Click "Page information" * Find the "Incoming links" section In general I agree this is great info…

Hi @[deleted] Are you primarily looking within a particular space? If so, you can navigate to the new "Pages" screen (see article). On the right side of the screen there is a dropdown menu that defaults to "Newest." You can open this dropdown and select "Oldest" to sort ascending by date. If you'd like to see the oldest…

Hi @Gui Ávila , This feature is currently rolling out: ticket You can try following the documentation to see if you already have access. If not, I recommend contacting support and asking if it's possible to be enrolled early.

Hi Robert, Generally you can create an undefined page link in the editor by typing: [<title>]() This generates a URL of the form <account>.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=<space key>&title=<title>&fromPageId=<parent page>&linkCreation=true which should be usable outside the editor as well to link to an…

The ticket linked is specifically regarding exact match for special characters. The behavior I described above should work with your example since it doesn't contain special characters. If you're still having issues, please reach out to our support team and they can help you more directly.

Hi Rhys, To exclude other word forms (words with the same lemma), you can put your search term in quotes. So in your case, searching for "tagging" will exclude results that only contain tag. If you want results that explicitly contain tagging and not tag, you could do "tagging" NOT "tag"

Hi Ture, My apologies for the delay response here, we've been discussing this issue internally. First off, we're aware of the issue you identified above with the mousing off behavior. It's absolutely a bug and we're working on a fix. Secondly, we hear you that the flyout behavior is too easily triggered and feels jumpy.…

Hi Ture, The sidebar should only expand on hover if * It is collapsed (see screenshot of collapsed sidebar). * You mouse over the leftmost 20px of browser window (anything to the left of the line pointed to by the red arrow in the screenshot). Does this match the behavior you are experiencing?

Hi Jeremy, the screenshot you posted shows the Confluence Server page tree. If you post in their community space or reach out to customer support I'm sure they could help you figure out what's causing this issue.
-
Yes, we've tracked and logged everything internally. I only discovered this post after we resolved the issue. Of course, your support tickets and this post should have been forwarded to us in real time instead of marked as not reproducible. Hence my comment about coordinating better with support. Moreover, it's much…

Hi @Helen Gosper and @Tom , I'm a software engineer on the Confluence Cloud team. This issue was not consistently reproducible because it did not affect all customers. The problem was caused by an ElasticSearch cluster migration. We're working to make sure that future migrations don't recreate the issue. I'm also reaching…
