@Adam G_ That's pretty granular seeing as how only a small subset of security experts or org admins would be able to action this. If all users within the org were able to exclude, then I could see that being a policy across the whole. Maybe one day we'll get there!

Hi Mark, Beacon is transitioning into Atlassian Guard as part of a larger premium offering. You can read more about this here - https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Beacon-Articles/Lighting-the-way-forward-the-transition-from-Beacon-to-Atlassian/ba-p/2686652.

@Andy Gladstone Love hearing these types of specific use cases! As a teaser, we're working on regex inputs next so stay tuned!
-
@Saki Okubo We are working on pricing and will have more information about general availability in the next couple of months!
-
JSM external customers would not count as managed users. Atlassian accounts with email addresses from your verified domain are managed accounts. Sometimes an alert may go off from an external user triggering a detection but we are unable to properly display the user, only an ID number will show up. We are not covering…
-
Hi @Saki Okubo 1. Jira detections cover all Jira projects since it's based on issue events so any under JWM or JSM would trigger this. 2. Our detections only cover managed users with matching email domains in your organization. Can you provide more info about your situation and what type of activity you'd like to see…

We're excited to be cooking up custom content scanning detections for all of you too! You'll be able to search for an exact term as part of the first iteration (also in real-time when a Confluence page is published).
-
Hi Richard, This is great feedback to hear! We are currently working on bringing you the ability to scan for custom terms in Confluence (real-time updates). We are starting with exact terms first and then will branch out into pattern-matching terms. We also have our eyes on bootstrap scanning for Confluence where we will…

Hi Dan, Great questions! Thresholds... Low = 16 pages in 5 min Med = 30 pages in 5 min High = 45 pages in 5 min We will be playing around with those numbers as we continue optimizing on the back end. Can any user to Beacon update the detections or is there a admin level to this? Any user added to Beacon in your org has…

@Hans Buis Glad to hear it! Thanks for your patience while we worked through this.
-
@Hans Buis There was a bug and we worked with Google to get it removed. Sounds like the icon is gone and you should no longer see the app, correct?
-
@Hans Buis We deprecated the app, so you will not be able to see it in the Atlassian marketplace and then it took a couple days for it to sync and be removed from the Google app listing. I'm having my engineers look into why you would still be seeing the icon and if there is anything to do on our end. Thanks for your…

This was a really hard decision to make but there are a couple of alternatives here. Just a reminder that this will be offline on Nov 1, 2022.
-
@Doug Cardona I'm going to have my engineers take a look at this for you and report back. Thank you for letting us know!
-
@Bradley Davidson Apologies for the spam, and thank you for letting us know. That is not working as intended and users should only see that the first time they've added the bot to a Team Channel. I've got my engineers looking into your instance now. Please stay tuned!
-
@Bill Bailey We do have an app for Confluence Server for Microsoft Teams but we not planning on a live demo. @Albert Cantero We do not but we have other alternatives in our marketplace. @[deleted] No, everyone in the meeting (as long as your Microsoft Teams settings allow it) will be able to see the notes but the user that…

Please see the new article! https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/What-s-new-in-2022-for-the-Jira-Cloud-for-Microsoft-Teams-app/ba-p/1904592

@Steve Keogh You should be able to save filters within a tab now :) @Jeff Boon When you're in your Jira Cloud instance in a browser... Go to Project Settings -> Issue types. Navigate to the corresponding screen. Add the field Due Date in the screen: Settings -> Issues -> Screens. When creating the new issue make sure that…
-
@KimmoS I definitely understand the confusion. So when you add the app to a Team channel, Microsoft Teams makes us default the installation to the "General Channel" but it will be accessible in all the channels within that Team. If you have several Team Channels, you need to add them individually there and users need to…
-
@Matthew H My team is looking into this for you and I'll respond back with an answer as soon as we have one. Thanks for letting us know!
-
@Marcel I spoke with my engineering team and we can't seem to replicate that. Can you try logging in with a web browser if you're on the desktop client? We have rolled out updates and it might not have synced properly yet. Let us know if that fixes it!
-
@Jonathan Lloyd This app is specifically for Cloud products. You can find a server version here. @Ken Rachynski We recently brought this feature back! If you click on the ... of a message in a Teams channel, you'll see the "Comment in Jira" option.
-
@Nicole Downes If you are logged into your Atlassian Jira account and share an issue within a meeting, all participants will be able to see that issue but they will not be able to edit or comment until they have signed into their Atlassian Jira account. I would also recommend taking a look at your participants' permissions…
-
@Jeff Boon We are going to release custom fields in the near future with this app but first, you will need to set up the custom date field within an issue. After that, you can update those as needed!
-
@zzalowitz I'm sorry to hear that. Can you share more specific feedback you were looking for? We'd love to hear from you.
-
@Jeff Boon You will receive a personal notification only with someone else mentions you on an issue. I'd recommend watching issues or setting up a filter in a tab where you can see your own issues that you've been assigned to. Is this a common use case for you and your team?
-
@Sean Drohan Thank you so much for providing such helpful context. I have good news for you as our team is currently working on bringing back - custom fields - adding a comment to an issue. - including the Microsoft Teams message link to an issue We are also working on the editing bug you reported.
-
@Vertic IT It's live now! Some users have run into issues with configuring and setting up personal notifications within the desktop client so please log in and set this up in an app browser initially and then you should be set on both clients. Here's the link to get started. Feel free to share any thoughts or feedback with…
-
@Nic We do not have team channel notifications but this is great feedback. Let me know if you have other requests. @Sean Drohan Please share additional feedback and thoughts on the new app and please don't be afraid to be too hard on us.
-
@Nicole Downes We did remove those bot commands as we found low usage on those functions. You are still able to search for your issues and edit them via the message extension or in a tab within a Chat or Team Channel.
