@Divya TV , per my earlier comments, we will be releasing the next Jira Long Term Support releases in October. So, soon. :)
-
@ViswanathanRWe usually recommend that customers stay up to date with the latest .x releases to cover vulnerabilities as these are bug fix releases. For more information related to release types, see this page.

Thanks @P_D_ Foerster for surfacing that insight! And @Claudio Kuenzle, I'm happy to hear that this timing will work for you. :)
-
@Nirmani Kalakheti @Gonchik Tsymzhitov - We're still targeting October. If anything changes, I'll provide an update here. Thank you for your interest.

@P_D_ Foerster While plans can change due to unforeseen circumstances, we anticipate 8.13 to follow the same ~12-month cadence between LTS releases. The last Jira Software LTS release was 8.5 which was released in October 2019.
-
@BenjaminW @Sachin I am happy to inform you that the 8.13 LTS release will include support for MySQL 8.
-
@Gavad Khan _PS_While plans can change due to unforeseen circumstances, we anticipate 7.6 to follow close to the cadence of other releases, which is usually around every 5 weeks. The latest release was 7.4 which shipped today, so we can estimate that 7.6 will be released sometime in September.
-
@Carol Jones - The Long Term Support releases page only shows releases that have already shipped. This release will be reflected on that page as soon as it is available for download :)

-
@Gonchik Tsymzhi4 Thank you for the feedback- we've shared it back to the Product team. We're always looking for new ways to make the upgrade process easier for you and will consider that for the future!

Hi @Matthias Damsch, thank you for your feedback. To clarify: * We understand the need for advance planning and that’s why we’re continuing to target the same ~12 month release cadence between LTS releases. So you can expect an LTS release to be published roughly around the same time the following year. We want to make…

@Ondrej Kvinta We are currently investigating backporting this to 7.4 as part of an upcoming bugfix release, please watch the bug report on JAC to be kept up to date.
