Hi Sachin! Just wanted to let you know that we hear you loud and clear. ;)
-
Yesss, thanks for dropping in a workaround! Glad there was a quick fix for you. :)

Hi José! These are some really cool ideas. As a writer, I always get a little nervous when someone recommends letting a computer do it, but I am finding myself interacting with these "autofill" experiences more and more often. I particularly like your call out about the opportunity to add page/ticket linking suggestions…

Hi Bill! I know our team has been working hard on rolling out new shapes (sorry for the spoiler!), so I wonder if this is maybe related... Would you mind sending a screenshot or two to support@gliffy.com? I also know that we had a fix for a similar bug go out in a Gliffy update at the end of June. If you could confirm your…

This is fantastic! I've been trying to do something similar just on my personal space in Confluence, but a more organized tool would mean a little less "duct tape and bubble gum" holding it together, as my boss would say. ;) Thank you guys at Lively Apps for taking a step back to see what you can do to help!

Thanks for the extra details! I agree, it's really strange that there's no record of the changes. I'm sorry you're having this issue right now. And sorry I couldn't be of more help! Tanika is awesome — you're in good hands and I'll let her take it from here. Samie

Hi Steven! I just checked our open support tickets and I'm not seeing a similar issue. Would you mind emailing these details to support@gliffy.com? One potential issue I can think of — do you know who the original author of those 4 diagrams is? I wonder if they changed the permissions or, if the diagram was linked from…

Hi Cam! Thanks for dropping in these images — that's super helpful. Would you mind sharing them with our team at support@gliffy.com? I do know that someone reported this issue to us the other day, but I don't know about a workaround quite yet! Our folks at support will be able to give you the latest. :) Samie

Hi Hans, I'm sorry you're not able to export right now! Would it be possible for you to provide screenshots and more specifics to our team at support@gliffy.com? I'm not aware of Confluence Cloud users experiencing similar issues when exporting from within Gliffy, so I don't have a set of troubleshooting steps for you to…

Hi Smriti! I haven't seen anyone report a similar issue yet, so I don't have a quick troubleshooting list for you. Do you mind reaching out to our support folks at support@gliffy.com? If you can provide them with any screenshots of the color distortion, that would be really helpful! Providing details on your environment…

Jimmy, curious what you think... I am not loving working from home (which is Minnesotan for "I am hating working from home") but I do think a fair amount of it has to do with the fact that I don't do anything social outside of work right now, either. I started this experience thinking it'd be a good chance to test working…

Happy to elaborate! Re: organizational change... Just thinking through the barriers to implementing change, you have elements like a lack of commitment from leadership to see the change through, a belief that what the org is already doing works fine/there's no better alternative, resistance to learning at a working level,…

I did this for my partner and I when we moved in together a few months ago! I would say we're in the B- grade for actually sticking to it. I've found it more valuable for some of our larger/longer-term to-dos. For example, we made a goal of hosting his family once a month. While it's relatively easy for me to ignore the…

Yes, please! My University of Minnesota email is kaufm367@umn.edu. Is there any other info you'd want to have on hand? :)

Hi Michelle! Great article! I've always defaulted to the TOC structure, but I'm definitely curious about using the page properties macro to pull answers in. This seems like the most convenient way to address Qs that are truly "frequently asked." ;) Also, I loved all your jokes! Sharing them in my team's slack channel now…

This made me laugh out loud hahaha

Wow, James. I read your article and the work you're doing on this is so interesting. I'm taking several IT management courses as part of my MBA and we're touching on similar topics. That being said, I'm coming at this from more of a business/marketing side of things rather than a development point of view. I think that…

Hi Joymalya! I think the easiest way to do this would be to duplicate the shape onto each layer where you'd like it to appear. That way, as your users view different layers, it'll look like the shape stays in place, when really it's swapping out. I don't think there's a literal way to assign one shape to multiple layers.…

Hi @Roman Joss ! I apologize, I didn't note that this was asked under the "server" tab. I'm checking with our team to get an idea of the timeline for this and we'll get back to you, but know that this feature is currently planned for the next release.
-
Hi Marcus and Heroly! I've got some good news for you :) Our recent Confluence update allows you to connect layer visibility to a certain shape in your diagram (so you'll use a shape to create a button). Here's a rough screen grab of what you'll need to use. Hope this helps - have fun with it!

This is so smart! Especially seeing which of your teammates is "in pomodoro." I use a similar app for Trello, but if I was managing more of my personal work in Jira, I would download this is a heartbeat. :)
-
I keep a running list of what I'm working on and the general status of each project on my personal space! I feel like my priorities are changing a lot, so it's really great to check in with my teammates and shuffle that list around as things get stuck, drafts are under review, or something gets a little "hotter."
-
Hi William! Have you activated your free trial of Gliffy yet? If you've already got that started, you should be able to use the "/gliffy" command to add a gliffy macro to your page. The other way to add your diagram would be by clicking the + icon in your toolbar and selecting "view more." That will pull up a list of the…

Hi Peter! Welcome — this is a great place to learn. I'm relatively new to the tech industry altogether, so this (plus a few classes) has definitely been a good way to get to know the challenges and working styles of different teams. Feel free to reach out for anything Gliffy-related! :) There are also some fun threads that…

Upvoting this, thanks for the nod Mike! :) Reginald, feel free to reach out if you have any questions about Gliffy. We're really proud of our Confluence integrations.

This is brilliant. I bought the app Paprika several years ago and have been using it to store recipes. It has a "pantry" feature where you're supposed to keep inventory of things that you have, so that when you add a recipe to your grocery list it removes those items. I like that feature a lot, but Paprika is way too…

This is so wonderful to read! I've got a virtual high five for all the community leaders and Atlassians who make this such a rich community. You guys make all the difference. :)

The thing my team started doing that I really appreciate is changing how we're using slack to do more "clocking in, clocking out." Nobody is really keeping an eye on our hours, but it allows me to say "alright, lunch break, back by 1" and just close my computer. If we weren't all communicating that way, I'd feel like I…

BRB, adding all my Trello boards to Confluence. 😍(Is it lame that I hadn't figure out how to do that yet?) Thanks for the Gliffy nod, Claire & Jessica!

I think ideally there would be both in person and robust virtual events! I love getting to see people face to face and I do admit that I would probably find a keynote more inspiring if it's delivered from a giant stage. 😉 But, what I really appreciate about everyone's efforts right now is that ultimately, we're learning to…
