@Ali Adib try: duedate is EMPTY

@Raymond Barnell , a few ideas: 1. Think about bumping the story to an Epic (if able) and then creating stories for each piece of work. 2. You could also just have three separate stories, use issue linking to build the relatability and then tie them all together through a version. 3. Maybe even a single story (owned by the…

@Alon Dahan , Make sure they have permission to both the board and the filter. Both of these need to be configured for things to work correctly.
-
@Ana Bolanos , It's been a while since I have seen a system as a user but I don't believe you can get deep enough to see all the projects a scheme is tied to through the scheme management. You should be able to see that Scheme for that project (but you already know that. :) ) I'd ping you admin and have them get a list for…
-
@Mahendar , are you trying to just delete them from the DB? If so, I wouldn't recommend that. It could cause many other problems. If you're looking to do a clean-up, try deleting the projects you don't need anymore (archive them first just in case) this will then show you all the Schemes that are not longer being used by a…

@Ido Levi ,That's not going to work. In the sprint reporting, subtasks are considered small parts of the parent issue not separate issues. The idea is that the parent issue would be estimated and assigned effort (points or time) representing the body of work. The subtasks would then be created to help breakdown the work.…

@Brian Medford , To be honest, parsing logs is not my song suit. If you haven't already, I would open a case with Atlassian. Their internal support team is pretty helpful with issues like this and have assisted us many times in the past. https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ -pjd
-
@Bunty , That is not going to work for Linked issues; only true subtasks associated with the Jira Story will roll up. What you could do is create a few new subtasks that represent other types of work and use those as a part of the story instead of the linked issues. -pjd
-
Like Jack said. You could get a 'new' project key for a specific issue type by creating a new Jira project and having that issue type available there.
-
@Bunty , When you have subtasks that have the time tracking field available on their screen, you will see this once you add them to you Story (parent issue). Make sure the box is checked and then the estimated & remaining times will total all the subtasks plus the parent and any time logged will be shown accordingly. -pjd
-
@Shalini , Are you looking to display all of the issues in an epic on the Agile card instead of the Epic Name? -pjd
-
@Devon van de Kletersteeg , I believe in the new UI it has been removed. I'm making an assumption here that you are on version 8.x. If so you should have 2 options. 1. Add the epic link to the new issues when creating. 2. Drag the issues to the epic in the backlog view. Take a look at this Atlassian document for some…

@chang_ma , Glad you found a group and the Community! Welcome. -pjd

Greg I understand you frustration. Hang in there bud things may get better for you.

Ok who else has pictures to share? These are great!

@Susan Gearou , It look like you are using Jira server. The easiest way to get the DueDate field to appear on Issue Creation is to make sure it’s Added to the Create Screen. Here’s a doc from Atlassian that can explain it better than I can. :)…
-
@[deleted] , you could also look at using Federation: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/federating-jira-managing-multiple-instances-961257360.html

@Kimmo Wiltshire , I’m not familiar with the In Vision plugin. Sometimes, you can turn them on/off on a per-project basis other times, you cannot. I would contact the vendor at get more information from them. https://support.invisionapp.com/hc/en-us/requests/new -pjd

GL with the NextGen project. I've been playing with one on a personal level for a bit now and am enjoying the experience. Some of the limitation have forced me to evaluate the real "need" of something. But they are nice - I'm looking forward to watching how Atlassian grows and expands functionality. -pjd
-
@Kimmo Wiltshire , I don't believe you can remove the Attachments section from the issue screen. You can change the permission 'Create Attachment' to prevent people from adding any.

@Nicole Mullins-Teasley , You don't want to try to log Sprint work in Sub-Tasks. Bring your 3-Week completable items up to the Story/Task level and work upward for collating the Stories/Tasks into bigger Blocks of Work. If you need a hierarchy above the Epic, there a few apps that can help. Portfolio is specifically…

@[deleted] , If you were using Jira Server, this would be easy as you could use this Atlassian Article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-restrict-project-access-to-different-isolated-user-groups-290750862.html?_ga=2.232444511.1977886377.1553615136-772825270.1546965832 which would hide the activity log like…

@Allan Pincus , @Jack Brickey is right on that Sprints are created in specific Board and are managed there. Sprints can show up in another board if the issues pulled in by that board have already been added to that Sprint. So if you want the issues in your new board to be added to the Sprint in another board, you will need…

@Toni Takei , My company has a policy of Secure-by-Design so we have looked at this and deal with currently. We use OKTA for SSO. Okta provide a .jar app that sits in front of Jira and handles Auth. The only thing I have ever seen in the logs is that a user has authenticated or was already authenticated. As far as internal…

@[deleted] , It doesn't look like it's on the public roadmap yet. You can view the roadmap here: https://www.atlassian.com/roadmap/jira-software?_ga=2.232960350.1977886377.1553615136-772825270.1546965832#results There is also a link at the top that will allow you to suggest and idea. -pjd

@[deleted] , try this: * When you have your NextGen Project open, you should be able to click the Jira Software Logo in the upper ledft-hand corner of the screen. * Click Issues & Filters and then on Search Issues * project = "project_name" AND Sprint is EMPTY and Sprint = "your_sprint_name" should give you the issues in…

@Kimmo Wiltshire , have you added the time tracking field to your view screen for you issue?
