@Rob , it looks like the users only need to be an application admin in order to be able to open support requests. Check this article out: https://confluence.atlassian.com/support/eligibility-for-support-tickets-for-atlassian-cloud-979419943.html As an idea, we use a distribution group email address for our licensing and…

It shouldn't unless you use up all the free disk space on the server. The real impact of a large amount of attachments will come when backing up jira our syncing the data if you use more than one server environment in a prod - dev type configuration.
-
The only limit to the total size of all attachments that I have seen is available space on the server. -pjd

@Paulina Mijal , this JQL should work: project = project_key AND sprint in openSprints() You can then use the Filter Results gadget to display the issues. If you want to personalize the view for whichever team member is viewing the dashboard, you can this JQL too: assignee = currentUser() gl -pjd

@Ikaia Bernardino , If you want to make your own calendar you could use the table macro and then manually add the days & dates. This is completely lo-fi but free. Team Calendars is an all or none type of app. I believe all users would need to be upgraded in order to use the functionality. If you wanted to go with a…

@Bruno Carvalho , Yes you can add additional quick filters. When viewing your Kanban board: * Click the ... on the right side of the board and select Board Settings * Select Quick Filters from the Settings column. You can configure new quick filters using JQL, this will allow you to specify custom fields easily. gl -pjd

Awesome! Full disclosure, it can be a bit tricky to get right. If you run into any issues, open a support ticket with Adaptavist. They are usually really helpful. -pjd

@Silviya Markova The default attachment size for server is usually 10MB (unless it has been changed). You can check the size limits as well as make adjustments by following the instructions in this article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/configuring-file-attachments-938847851.html gl -pjd

@Mike Rathwell , you'll need to play musical emails for your Atlassian IDs. id.atlassian.com email tab will let you change your email. If you want to swap the address on two existing accounts, you may need a third temp email while things are being switched. You should be able to update your current account with your…

@Jackie Klass , I have always used Scriptrunner Fragments for this. You can do quite a bit with them but you will need to purchase script runner. Check it out here: https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/confluence/CustomisingUI.html If you are developer savvy, you can take a look at Atlassian's own developer…

@ebenothmen , The root cause for our issue was a problem with the index of those tables: dbo.changeitem. Our DBA re-created both indexes and all is well. These are the SQL commands that were used. I am not a DBA so I am sharing this as-is and can not commit to this working on any other DB. Please consult a real DBA. :)…

@anowesol , this can be done through modifying the java system properties. Check out this article 1/2 down discusses mail. https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver085/recognized-system-properties-for-jira-applications-981155709.html -pjd

@Matt Zeunert , What error are you receiving? -pjd

@dmimatt There are two components here. in order for a field to appear on an issue, it needs to be present on the View screen and the field context needs to be set for that issue type and/or project. If you have one and not the other, things won't work for example: Field on View Screen Field Context set for issue/project…

@Martin Federico Valiente Phun , take a look at this app for Datacenter/Server. We use it in out Confluence DC and it is one of the more popular apps. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/27447/table-filter-and-charts-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview -pjd

@david.provencher , You won't be able to load the create issue as a separate page in Jira Cloud. -pjd

@Howard Patterson , take a look at these two articles from Atlassian. The first is an overview of the general process while the second focuses on restoring (moving) the data. https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/migrating-jira-applications-to-another-server-938846962.html…

@Ajay Prasad , also check to make sure the linked issues field is on the edit screen for the story. Depending on how you are trying to link the story to a feature, you may just not be seeing the option. On the outside chance you are talking about Versions or Components. Those are only available within the project they are…

@asif-anwar The release paths are not always independent of each other. The next release in the path for you would be the 8.20.2 even though this happens to also be the LTS version. Now, if you want to stay on the LTS version, you will only upgrade to 8.20.x versions until a future version is designated as LTS. However,…

@jayanthiR , the other out of the box solution (field configurations) is the one you identified as unadvisable. I'm not a developer so my experience with developing a custom plugin is just about 0. :) If you want the head that way, post in the Atlassian Developer community. The Atlassian Developer Community -pjd
-
@jayanthiR , you will need to use a 3rd party solution for this that allow for deeper control. We use Scriptrunner, specifically the behaviors functionality, to achieve this. You will be able make specific fields required in specific situations. Look here for more information: ScriptRunner (adaptavist.com) -pjd

@Donald MacEntire , I'm not sure I've ever heard of plans for this (not that there aren't). But the docs or documentation end Jira is best supported with Confluence. You can easily create a Confluence page for all related documentation and then add a link to the Jira ticket. A few advantages to this method: * All…

@Dimitris Dimotsis , For Windows, you would right-click the Issue Key link and then select open link in a new tab. You can make this process a bit easier by having a filter, dashboard, or queue that identifies all the issues you want opened. Just go right down the list of issues right clicking or <cmd> clicking and opening…
