Glad you got it figured out Marc.

@Andrew, not too sure on how many EazyBI customers view the Community questions. I would open a support request with the vendor here: https://eazybi.com/contact. I bet they could help you the quickest. pd

@Craig Harris, is there already an open request for this @ support.atlassian.com? If so vote it up as Atlassian is being to focus on the most voted issues. If there isn't an issue already, create one so others can vote it up too. pd

@Marc Mastromonico, there are two sets of permissions for the board you can check. Specific Board permissions and filter permissions. Both have to be working. But from the look of your screen shots, did you duplicate the original board? Have your other user follow the same process for accessing the board as you use. For…

@David Witherspoonlinkedissuesof is going to return issues linked to your sub-query. The "is Epic of" specifies which link the function will return issue for.
-
@Raju AD, it would be easiest to set this on a post function. You can populate your Created By field with the current user. There are a number of workflow extension plug-ins that can do this for you. pd

@Elisa Souza da Silva Werneck, Have you run a reindex?
-
@Support Central, did you install the Jira version you are testing? If so, then what you see is what you get. Without knowing what cool features you are talking about, I would suggest heading over to your user-installed add-ons page and disabling any add-ons that you / or someone else has installed. Then go back and test…

@Robert Hann, Look at this add-on. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/jira-timesheet-plugin/server/overview We use currently us it and while it's not the prettiest add-on out there, it does a great job with time logged over date ranges and allows for many ways to display the data. pd
-
@[deleted], here is the process but it requires editing the DB and may not work on newer versions. Always worth a try in a development environment. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/changing-custom-field-types-in-jira-158357.html# pd
-
@carlotta amantea, The left bar is part of Jira and would require some hacking to customize. However, it looks like what you are seeing is more the result of you browser size and/or screen resolution. pd
-
@M Chahal, Doesn't look like it's possible yet. See this recent discussion: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Trello-questions/Is-there-a-way-to-merge-the-information-on-two-cards-to-one/qaq-p/640204 pd

@Panagiotis Georgakopoulos, That cron expression is correct for a 1 minute run. ie. 10:50, 10:51, 10:52, 10:53 ... This online calculator will help you set them up if needed: http://www.cronmaker.com/ Check you outbound mail queue. Are there a bunch of issues stuck? If it's empty, it may be an issues with you mail server.…

@Jaakko Haapasalo, Here is the Atlassian doc for creating the boards. https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver075/creating-a-board-935562339.html You can also always click on Boards -> View all Boards -> Create Board. The wizard will allow you to select Board from an existing project. Choosing this will create…

@John Price, I think the fake release is the way to go here. It is a bit clunky so make the time frame long enough that you don't get swamped by too many issues in the done column. I usually like to use 2 week 'releases' or one every month. The monthly release works nicely as it coincides with the calendar. pd
-
@Casey Jones, For users to be able to access a board they need access to both the Board (like you have in the image above) and the Filter that the board uses. It's this second one that usually trips people up. pd
-
@Vasily Laptyukhin, check out the two Atlassian article discussing the upgrade process and paths for Confluence & JIRA. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/upgrading-confluence-4578.html…
-
@cnodwell, Check out the nFeed plugin. I have used this in the past to connect to the Atlassian DBs to pull project/space names. pd
-
@Carlos Garcia Navarro, no Jira cannot do it by default. I use Scriptrunner for this. Check it out. pd
-
@Randy Nieto, you could also modify your JQL filter to add a resolution date is within the last 5 days. That way you can still see recently resolved issues but older issues will drop off automatically. pd
-
, I agree. I liked the 1.x version better too. 2.x is a little too Fisher Price for me and it is more difficult to add and configure repositories. Bookmarks bar +++. pd
-
@pb, the activity feed is great! I've been trying to create using email notification but this is so much better. pd
-
@Tarsis Hersisia, EoL just means you will not be able to get support for your version of Jira from Atlassian. If you have your licensing current, you will be able to get the newest(er) version needed. As far as upgrading, you can always try going straight to 7.5 in a dev environment. I have made jumps like that before and…
-
@WEBCODER LTD (EU), Atlassian announced this year at Summit that they were going to start focusing on the highest voted issues. Not sure what that means for timelines but the initiative is there. pd
-
@Oliver Schalch, you would need to hack the JIRA view screen to get the Comment button just above the Comments. pd
-
Good to know :) - thanks for the follow-up and posting your solution.
-
@Esther Strom, I use a board (Kanban or Scrum) and setup swimlanes to represent each project. The list can be long but the swimlanes are collapsible. I also use a swimlane at the top for flagged issues so that ones I need to keep a better eye on are at the top.

@Jen Hamilton& @Hassan Hashmi, Not sure if you guys ever figured this out but check out Misc Custom Fields add-on. Unfortunately its not supported but it is free and should allow the combination of multiple text fields into another field.…

@Brian R, check this one out. It's free too. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.innovalog.jmcf.jira-misc-custom-fields/server/overview
