Hi @Eric Atwood Welcome to the Community! Could you upload screenshots of the rule/s so that we can have a look and see if it can be altered to give the results that you want? By the sound of it, it only needs to be 1 rule per card move (not a rule for OUT and another for IN) - when the card is moved into XYZ list, remove…

There is one workaround that would work, but it would be a pain in the bum! You could create a new board, move the list to the board, close the board and delete the board. If you have several lists that you want deleted, you could move them all to the 'ditch' board and then maybe once a week, or every now and then, close &…

Hi @Michelle Welcome to the Community! At the moment, there is no way to delete a list completely. I've just checked in the Show Menu > More > Archived Items - and there is only the option to 'Send to Board' - so I'm assuming we don't have the ability to delete lists. I don't know if this feature is on Trello's roadmap…

Hi @Kay McAuley Welcome to the Community! It's a bit confusing, copy & paste doesn't work, well it does at card level, but not list level. You have to copy the list (make another one) and then move that one. If you're trying to copy a list from one board to another (as in make an exact copy), click 'copy' on the list,…

Oh to have tables in Trello! Alas, it's not to be. It used to be a thing in markdown, but it doesn't work any more, believe me, I tried (multiple times!). A custom field drop down will apply to all cards the minute you start adding locations, so it does only have to be done once, and will automatically get added to all the…

Hi Gregory, No problem at all. You could have 1 custom field with drop downs for all the possible locations, then whenever there's a change you could have a comment created. That way you'd only use 1 custom field. How are you logging the location at the moment? Esme :)

Hi @Dez Ladson Welcome to the Community! Unfortunately, it's not the same, when you click on Calendar within a board, it brings up a little calendar on the right hand side, where the menu was. However, as @Antonio Panea has said, you can use the Chrome app on your iPad and then you'll be able to access everything that you…

Hi @Gregory Smith Welcome to the Community! Are you using custom fields to record the location change? If so, are they text-based or a dropdown? This can be achieved with Butler, but it would be handy to know how you're recording the locations so that I can mimic the card and show you how I would set up the Butler rule :)…

You could even have labels for the different sections. So the intro could be green, main bits could be yellow and flashbacks or cut scenes could be purple. That way, you'd be able to see instantly which bits were which! Not that I've done this at all you understand!

This is what I was trying to explain!

From one author to another, it's no problem at all! When I started using Trello for my writing, I tried to have it all in one board, but that didn't work, so I ended up having a board per chapter, and a list in that board per event/scene or sequence. It really helped me to visualise what I was trying to do. Basically I…

Hi @Jakob If you go to the top of the board you would like to add him to, click on the 'Invite' button, put in his email address and click 'Invite' and it'll send him another invitation! If he hasn't confirmed his email address for Trello, it'll tell you there! Hope that's helpful! Esme :)

Hi @Stephanie Klein Welcome to the Community! It's great to have you here! Ok, so what you're asking for can't be done in Trello, but there might be a workaround. If you have a list at the end of the board for flashbacks or scenes within scenes, you could put all of them as cards in there, then in the card for the 'proper'…

Hi @Mohammed Fawaz Qutub Welcome to the Community! On the board you want to print, click on 'Show Menu' in the top right, then 'More' (5th option down), then at the bottom of that list will be a 'Print and Export' button, where you can print as PDF (using your computer's PDF rules) or export. Hope that's helpful! Esme :)

Hi Rachel! What a great question, and happily the answer is yes, using markdown! Here is the link https://help.trello.com/article/821-using-markdown-in-trello This is the bit that you're looking for - it's the first picture on the page So, what you'd have to do is have something that looked like this:…

Hi @Yaakov Kilberg Welcome to the Community! It's great to have you here! The short answer to this is no. Trello doesn't allow 'stacking' of lists natively. The long answer to this, is to have a look at the Chrome Extension List Layouts for Trello. That might give you want you want, however it will only work on Chrome, and…

Woohoo! Glad it worked for you! If you have 2-minutes, could you accept my answer so that others with the same question know that this is a possible solution for them as well? Thanks Esme :)

Well @Lukas - it just gets odder by the day! I would reach out to support@cronofy.com and see if they can help, because it's their product. It's very strange that the settings within Cdonofy aren't staying correct, I'm wondering if you have anything on your browser that's stopping cross-site tracking, maybe that could be…

Can you change the colour of a whole card natively in Trello @Jack Brickey? I didn't think you could! EDIT: of course you can, what was I thinking?! I'm getting confused because it's not card colours, it's covers!
-
Hi @Maria Gjerløff Welcome to the Community! It's great to have you here! This isn't something that Trello actually does, so I suspect you have a Chrome extension that's doing this for you. Trello doesn't have the ability to make cards the same colour as the labels natively, so I have a sneaking suspicion that a Chrome…

You can add other things like assigning the task to someone, or setting the due date of the checklist item, if you have Business Class with advanced checklists. If you use {triggercardlink} this is the best way to get a clickable link to the original card. If you want to know other variables that you can use, this is the…

Hi @Georgina Schepis Welcome to the Community, it's great to have you here! OK, I'll go through this step by step. Please let me know if it doesn't make sense and I'll try again!! The first thing I did was go to 'Show Menu' then 'Labels' then clicked on the pencil next to the orange label and named the label 'To be…

Hi @Lukas You've set Cronofy for 'assigned to me' but the cards that are set for 6pm and 10am aren't assigned to you, that I could see on the back or front of the card. For a card to be assigned to you, you need to be able to see your avatar on the front and back of the card. If you want just the cards that are assigned to…

You're right, there isn't a free version of Business Class (although there is a 14 day free trial), and the information around billable people is a little difficult to understand. I'll put things in bold below, not to shout but to try and explain the differences between board and team members. It's £9.99 a month for 1 team…

Hi @Bret Lynch On mobile, only certain PUps show, normally those that are native, e.g. Calendar & Custom fields etc. 3rd Party PUps generally don't show on mobile, they will show on Chrome and the Windows & Mac apps, but won't show on the iOS or Android apps. If you need to get access to your PUps on mobile, all hope is…

On a free team, there are no 'board controls' so yes, they can remove, edit, delete or move things around, exactly the same as you can. If you want to use free teams, I would suggest that any board you put into the free team for someone else to copy, you also keep a version for yourself, so that if anyone does move or…

Great to know! Thanks @Iain Dooley
