@kullah I'm not familiar with Jira Programs but no Jira tool capabilities have moved to Jira Align.
-
Yes. If there are no other PIs with anchor sprints already created after your next one, then this is straight forward.
-
@Angela Botti I'd like to help you but I haven't encountered the issue you are describing. Are you able to provide a screenshot and more details?
-
@Nena Kruljac From a tooling perspective, it is easy to make this adjustment in Jira Align if you haven't built out future PIs and mapped sprints. In this case, it is just a matter of adjusting the end date of the PI on the PI Details Panel and creating the additional anchor dates. Someone with appropriate permission would…

@Alan Williams No, it is not possible to push sprints from JA to Jira. The synchronization of sprints is only support one way from Jira to JA. All creation and management of sprints MUST be done in Jira.
-
@Louise Boulton All of this can be found in the Help Center. When you go to What's New, you'll find information for what was released along with the release calendar, bug fixes and our Product Roadmap webinars. You can also view the latest features here.

Super old article I wrote back in 2020 that contains the details of Connie's response below. @Steve Sauser If you write an article, feel free to merge, link, update my article as you see fit.

Hey @Connie Crabbe ! So nice to see your name after so long! Hope everything is well with you.

@liora Jira Align roadmaps are intended to be the strategic intent of an organization's planning. It is not meant to represent the planning the teams do. When using either of the Feature views in Roadmaps, you can see any stories that have been planned by sprint represented by boxes. And when you hover, you can see the…

Are you asking for Jira or Jira Align?
-
@Bob Hunt Hey! It's not possible to change what is listed in the Type dropdown for a Feature. The capability to do that is only available at the Story level. To see what dropdowns can be modified, you check via the following path. This is only accessible by someone with an Admin system role. Settings > Platform > Dropdowns…
-
@Stephanie Davis The display of the Product field on the Feature Details Panel is controlled in the Platform Settings in the Admin console. This can be turned on/off by portfolio. When turned on, it is a required field. There is no way to make it not required. You can always add an option like "None" or Not applicable"…

OMG! I am absolutely loving this!!!
-
@Matt Rosenbluth Unfortunately not at this time. I don't know if there are plans to accommodate this in the future. Best thing to do is what you already have done, which is submit it as an idea. Sorry I don't anything additional to offer.
-
@Kelly Flaherty The Jira Connector only supports mapping a given Jira project to a single Jira Align program. It is not possible to map a Jira project to multiple Jira Align programs. As I'm sure you know, issues belong to projects and not boards (teams) in Jira. Because of this, when a project is mapped to a program, all…
-
I don't think that is possible. @Leo.Soronio Can you confirm?
-
@Matt Rosenbluth The highest level of work item that is supported for syncing via the Jira connector is Jira Epics to Jira Align Features. If you have a level above that in Jira, it is not possible to sync that issue type with Portfolio Epics in JA.
-
@Stephanie Davis Indeed all of these fields drive how work displays on the Roadmap and has no impact on the Program Board. If you have target sprints set, make sure you are viewing the Sprint by PI view of the Roadmap. It will set the endpoints of the feature according to the selected sprints. If there are none, it…

@Ashwini Patil Unfortunately, it is not possible to sync Jira custom fields with Jira Align custom fields. The only custom fields that are supported are the ones that are available on the Jira Setup tab.
-
Glad to help! Also, if you made a configuration change and haven't done so already, make sure to resync the configuration to apply that change and sync items appropriately in Jira Align.
-
@John Hillock Yes. We have an Ideation Portal where you can submit ideas to our Product team. You can check out this Community Article for more information around the Ideation Portal.
-
@Rebecca Hylek There is no mapping on the State Mapping tab, for stories, to map a Jira status to the Jira Align state of Accepted because this is controlled by the Resolution date custom field on the Jira Setup tab. By default, this field is set as the Resolution Date; meaning, when a resolution is selected on a story in…
-
@John Hillock The PI filter in the top configuration bar only has the ability to display the name of the PI. The only variation for the name is the short name which is displayed in views where there is not enough real estate on the page to display the full name.
-
@Heidi Hendry Fantastic article! Thanks for writing this up!
-
@Lee Street The work item structure in Jira Align is pre-configured as Theme > (Portfolio) Epic > Capability (if enabled) > Feature/Jira Epic > Story > Task/Jira Sub-task. The highest level Jira will sync with is the Feature/Jira Epic. Capabilities are not turned on be default. Be enabling, it is recommended to determine…

@[deleted] Dependencies in Jira Align represent work that one team needs from another in order to complete their work for a given feature. A dependency would be created against that team's (requesting team) feature for the other team (depends on team) to deliver the work needed to complete that feature. Once the dependency…

@Sonal Hey! Have you explored the Customers option? If not, I would recommend this. You will face some of the drawbacks that you mentioned with the Requester option but may solve some of what you're looking for. Similar to the Requester field: * The list of customers is shared across the entire instance and cannot be…

Ah, I see what you are referring to. That may be old messaging that is no longer an issue. At the (portfolio) epic level, it is possible to select multiple programs and programs that belong to different portfolios. This ability is on by default and cannot be changed. However, if a program is selected on an epic that has…
-
@Rebecca Hylek Interestingly enough, there is already a troubleshooting article related to this. I'm going to add some additional details to it as well.

When you ask about checking to see if you have multiple programs turned on, are you referring to the ability to assign multiple programs to features (Jira epics)? If so, that is controlled by the Approach toggle in the Details Panels Settings. Those settings are also by portfolio.
