@Vinod Ramadoss - Your link above gives me a 404 error. Also I don't see "Table Filter" or "Pivot Table" macros in Confluence Cloud. What am I missing here?

The two standard pie chart macros in Confluence Cloud ("Pie Chart", and "Workload Pie Chart") do not look like they can be customized to show the data you want to display. The closest macro I could find is the "Issue Statistics" macro. However... * Unfortunately it's a horizontal bar chart, not a pie chart. * Unfortunately…

So the SmartValue syntax (the code between the {{ and the }} markers) should not be in the "Additional Fields" section (under "More options"). Only JSON belongs there, and that is the source of the error. Instead, put the SmartValue code into the "Company2" field. We don't want to clear that field, we want to set it to the…

I see. Then the "Workflow - Post Function" approach will not work for that. Automation can do this, though. You'll do what I mentioned above, but the "Edit Issue" action is just a pinch more complicated. I created the rule below to test it. This rule copies the assignee email address domain (everything after the @ in the…

The easiest way to accomplish this would be to use Automation in Jira. Specifically, you'll want a rule that: * Starts with the "Issue Created" trigger * And then uses an "Edit Issue" action to Copy the Domain field value to the other custom field (three-dots menu > Operations > Copy From). Here's a link to get started…

Perhaps your original post results are due to Word Stemming? I don't know German, but my brief research suggests that as a possibility. Might be worth experimenting with that setting in Jira (warning: it's a global setting). Word Stemming is detailed near the end of the page I linked above.

This might help explain the features Jira Server offers when searching text fields: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/search-syntax-for-text-fields-939938747.html

I agree with MDA. It's never made sense to me why the "Sum of Time Spent" for an Epic doesn't aggregate from Stories/Tasks (and Subtasks) lower in the hierarchy. If I wanted to know how much time has been logged to an Epic (and only the Epic issue), then the "Time Spent" value gives me that. For other issue types, the "Sum…

Well, given that 7 people in just this one random Atlassian Community thread are interested in this feature, one might hope that Tempo staff would see the community desire for this feature and add it themselves to their product backlog.

It doesn't look like Tempo is supporting their reports in Confluence Cloud right now: https://tempo-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KB/pages/379322442/Gadgets+not+working+on+Confluence Following the link there to "open an idea in their portal" does not work (even with a Tempo user support login). _ _ _ _ _ _ _ You can put a…

@John McKiernan Hi John, remember me? I'm still pushing the boundaries of Automation for Jira... :-) Regarding Question 5, you might want to clarify where that "Global Configuration" is located. Even searching for "global" using the "Search Jira admin" feature will not find it! To get there, one has to navigate: Jira…
