Hi Suzanne, Sorry for my mis-understanding. I'm going to make some assumptions: 1. You are in the View All filters area. 2. You have selected the filter you require. So, to the right of the JQL, there are options. If you have made changes to the filter then Save Filter is there, and if you have not then Copy Filter is…

Hello, Yes, it is possible, but to do so you need to create a section on your form, so that the 'field that you want to place the Other comments in', is only displayed on condition, and that condition is when the drop down list = Other

Hi Barret, I think I know what you are attempting to do, but I'm going to para-phrase it? My assumption is that you have a custom field that selects a role. We do something similar once an employee has their assets, so that we can show all their assets when required. This is acheived as each particular schema has the…

Hi Suzanne Welcome to the community. The screen shot shows the Customers list, but you are referring to a change in JQL which is not working as expected? Is that a Queue where you made the change, which is at the top of the left hand panel that you are showing? Are you able to screen shot the JQL? Thanks Mark

Thanks @Inactive Stephen / @dirq Thanks for the feedback. I'll ping Atlassian :-)

Hi @Robert Wen_Cprime_ I did not know that. Thanks for the tip. Mark

Hi Simon, Its actually an industry standard, called Regex. If you google Regex, you will see where I found this. Glad it worked. Cheers M

Cool Jacek. Have you considered having a generic schema for laptops and then an attribute to determine the OS? If the field is linked into the screen, then the asset should now link, without any automation. M

Hi Jacek, Just want to paraphrase your challenge first. So, you have the customfield on the Edit/View screen for the ticket, and hence, if you go to that asset, in Assets, does it show the ticket that it belongs to? The filter scope is set up, so that it will display the asset linked to the reporter in Assets. In the…

Like John, it was the late 70's when a host of local Aussie bands would come play at the local RSL. The Radiators, The Divinyls, Mi-Sex, just to name a few. The first major concert, was Dire Straits. I've still got their orignal vinyl albums.

Hi Cameron, May need a few more details, and if I'm about to explain what you already know, then I apologise. You can link tickets, using the Link option, and then the JQL can show your the columns of the linked issue, but not the details of the linked issue. You would need (I believe) to extract both sets of data and then…

Hi Simon, I must admint I did use Google Gemini to show me this and it came back with: Specific Format Validation: ^[A-Z]{3}-[0-9]{4}$ This regex matches a specific format, such as three uppercase letters followed by a hyphen and four numbers (e.g., ABC-1234). So in your example, ^[A-Z]{3} will require 3 upper case…

Hi Nancy, In short, No. Teams are available across products, and at present, appear to require manual administration and are not linked to groups in anyway. It appears to be a direction that Atlassian are trying to head, and we do hope that synchronisation that you are after, is on their roadmap. Mark

Hello, From 'Global' view on Automation, you can get hold of each object, and then using a variable, update the variable with the attribute value of the object. For some reason, at the Project level for automation, the For AOL doesn't show up?? Hope that helps get you started. Mark
-
Hi Paul, If everyone has a 1 to 1 relationship with a laptop, then yes, you can use automation to lookup the asset and assign it to the Affected Laptop field.
-
Hi Nicole, I'm guessing here, as the only thing that appears between the two tickets, is that one os created by the Portal (and it works), and then one comes in from e-mail, and the automation then appends forms to the ticket. Hence, is the request type of the automated ticket changed to be the same as if it came from the…

I should have refreshed the page :-)

My faviourite is Jira Service Management, but there are so many to chose from :-)

Hi Clayton, You may need to add one more clauses, to get the actial period you require. create < startofmonth(-2w) (if we are in June) = created before startofmonth(-2w), which is designed to give you all the tickets created before the 2 weeks before the start of month. If you want the final two weeks of the previous…

Hi Andy, Just re-afirming hat Dirk and Tim have suggested. When we do this for clients, HR is normally its own seperate project, which is locked down to those who have authority, and then inside the project, Issue level security is used to lock data down even further. Regards Mark

Hi Summer, Brain storming, the more the merrier and SWOT analysis of projects, for people to drop their thoughts into whats going well, whats not etc. Cheers mark

Hi Erin, The courses always run behind the product, especially this time of year, when Teams has occured, and lots of new features turn up, and while that can be frustrating, the exam does align to the prep course. If you'd like to drop some screen shots, I could look to point you in the right direction. Cheers Mark

Hi Samir, Where abouts are you on the planet :-) Cheers Mark
-
Hi @Koloman Pfeffer Apologies, I didn't read your post accurately. Unfortunately, no, you can not embed a form into a foreign website. The only thing that comes to mind, would be a link that goes to a project with one request type, and customers enter data there. The project would need to be opened, so that anyone can…
-
Hi @Koloman Pfeffer Have you looked at Widgets? Widgets work, if you're project is open, and customers can access without logging in. Cheers Mark
-
Hi @François Piette It appears that you have not been granted access to the product, by your Org admin person. If you have, then you may not be in a group? Hope this helps? Cheers Mark

Hi @John Funk and @Bill Sheboy Thankyou so much for taking the time for responding. I tried a variable, I removed the quotes, but in the end, another colleague of mine, found this: {{#now}}func=plusBusinessDays({{Object.“Days for Review”}}) {{/}} This works. I don't quite understand why the var diddn't work, but it kept…
-
Hi @John Funk Thanks for responding, and I hope you can see this. I was thinking variable as well. THe audit log shows that the Days for Review is 30, so I'm not sure where its going awry. Thanks for responding. Cheers Mark

Hi Annie, I believe the courses are locked, until Teams 24 for a restructure. Mark

Appreciate that this is a few months old, but it now appears that you can mention the team in a comment, and it expands to notify people in the Team.
